本発明は、学校やオフィス等で好適に利用される机等の家具に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
現在、学校やオフィス等で使用される事務用の机として、非使用時に上下方向へのスタッキングを可能とするとともに、使用時に他の机と天板同士を密着させて隣接可能となるように構成したものが提案されている。

具体的には、この机は、天板と、この天板の巾方向両端を支持する左右一対の前後脚部とを具備してなり、前記左右の前脚部を前記天板の左右縁部よりも外方に設けて前記左右の前脚部間に同じ構成を有する他の机の天板を配するようにして上下方向のスタッキングを可能とするとともに、この左右の前脚部を互いに前後方向に変位させて、他の机の脚部との干渉を防止して天板同士を密着させて隣接できるようにしている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来のこの種の机は、左右の前後脚部を一本のパイプ部材を折り曲げ成形することにより一体に構成している。すなわち、使用縁部側である前縁部側に位置する左右の前脚部間に、使用縁部に略平行な方向すなわち巾方向に沿って延びる水平部が存在しており、この水平部を脚部を天板に取り付ける脚部取付部として利用するようにしている。

ところで、オフィスや学校等で机が使用される場合、文房具や書類等の物品を収納し得るような物品収納部を有していることが望ましいが、前述したような机であると、天板の使用縁側に前記水平部が存在するため、この水平部の下側、もしくは、水平部を避けて当該物品収納部を設けなければならないため収納スペースを大きく確保しにくい。また、スタッキング時に物品収納部と他の家具の天板が突き当って物品収納部が変形したりする恐れもあるため、この種のスタッキング可能な机で天板の下方に物品収納部を設けにくく、物品収納部を希望する声はあるものの、該物品収納部を有するものは見当たらないのが実状であった。また、従来の構成の机に、無理に物品収納部を設けたり、収納スペースを大きく確保しようとしたりすると、使用時に使用者の足を挿入できる下肢空間が小さくなる上、スタッキング時のスタッキング効率も低下するという問題が生じると考えられる。

そこで、本発明は、上記課題を解決するために、上下方向へのスタッキングと他の机と天板を密着させて隣接させることを可能にした家具において、物品収納部を設けて使い勝手を良好なものとするとともに、この物品収納部の収納スペースを大きく確保することも可能とした家具を提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の問題点を解決するために、本発明は、天板と、この天板の使用縁部側の巾方向両側を支持する一対の脚部と、前記天板の反使用縁部側を支持する反使用縁側支持脚部と、前記脚部を前記天板に取り付けるための一対の脚部取付部と、前記脚部と反使用縁側支持脚部とを連結する連結部とを具備してなり、前記脚部を前記天板の奥行方向に沿って延びる縁部よりも外側に位置させることにより前記脚部間に同じ構成を有する他の家具の天板を配するようにして上下方向へのスタッキングを可能とするとともに、当該脚部同士を互いに奥行方向に変位させることにより同じ構成を有する他の家具の天板を密着させて巾方向に隣接可能とした家具において、前記天板の下方に、物品を収納するための物品収納部を設けるようにし、前記一対の脚部取付部を前記天板の奥行方向に沿って設け、前記脚部取付部の反使用端部側を巾方向に沿って延びる補強部により連結し、前記一対の脚部、前記一対の脚部取付部、及び前記補強部を一体に形成し、前記一対の反使用縁側支持脚部と反使用縁側脚部の上端部間を連結し巾方向に沿って延びる上水平連結部とを一体に形成しているとともに、前記連結部を、天板から離れた位置に設けるようにしている。

このような構成のものであると、スタッキング可能で天板を密着隣接可能な家具に物品収納部を設けたので、使用時には他の家具と天板を密着させた状態で隣接させて学校やオフィスでの各種状況に対応するためのレイアウトが行い易い上、文房具や書類等の物品を前記物品収納部に収納することができ、家具の使い勝手を非常に良好なものとすることができる。なお、本明細書中でいうところの巾方向とは、使用縁と略平行な方向であり、奥行方向とは、使用縁と略直交する方向である。

また、この場合には、前記脚部取付部間に前記物品収納部を設けていることが望ましい。このような構成のものであると、前記物品収納部を設けるためのスペースを天板の下方に十分に確保することが可能である。この点について従来の家具を引き合いに出して具体的に説明する。仮に、従来の家具に物品収納部を設けようとしても、従来の家具は、天板の使用縁部側に巾方向に沿って脚部取付部を有しているため、この脚部取付部の下側、若しくは脚部取付部を開口部側に位置させたままで前記物品収納部を設けるしかなく、物品収納部の上下寸法、特に開口部側の上下寸法を十分に確保することが難しいと考えられる。しかしながら、前述したような構成のものであると、脚部取付部が、使用縁部側を避けて設けてあるため、物品収納部の上下寸法、特に使用縁部側に開口する開口部側の上下寸法を脚部取付部の存在に影響を受けることなく、十分に確保することができる。さらに、脚部取付部の下側に物品収納部を設ける場合に比べて、スタッキングさせた一方の家具と他方の家具間の上下方向の離間距離も小さく押さえることが可能となるため、スタッキング効率の低下を招くことも避けられる。

さらに、好適な実施の形態としては、スタッキング時に前記物品収納部と他の家具の一部との間に位置して、両者の干渉を防止する干渉防止部を設けているものが挙げられる。前記物品収納部は、物品収納空間を構成する複数の壁部から構成されているが、これら壁部は内方に物品収納空間が位置するため外方から力が働いた場合に非常に変形し易いものである。特に、スタッキング可能なこの種の家具では、複数の家具を上下方向にスタッキングさせる時に、物品収納部に他の家具の天板等が突き当る衝撃などで変形を生じやすいものであるが、上述したような構成であると、スタッキング時には他の家具の一部に前記干渉防止部が優先して当たることになるため、物品収納部の変形を有効に回避することが可能となる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の一実施の形態について図面を参照して説明する。

本実施の形態では、本発明の家具をオフィスや学校等で使用される机Ａに適用した場合について説明する。

この机Ａは、図１〜図６に示すように、天板１と、この天板１の使用縁部である前縁部１ａ側の巾方向両側を支持する脚部たる左右一対の前脚部２と、この前脚部２を前記天板１に取り付けるための左右一対の脚部取付部３と、前記天板１の反使用縁部である後縁部１ｂ側の巾方向両側を支持する反使用縁側支持脚部たる左右一対の後脚部４と、前記天板１の下方に設けた物品収納部５とを具備してなるものである。

以下、各部の構成について詳述する。

天板１は、前後縁部１ａ、１ｂ側を長辺とする平面視略矩形状に構成したものであり、その裏面にネジなどを用いて前記物品収納部５を取り付けできるように、木製の合板もしくはメラミン化粧板貼りなどによって構成されている。

前脚部２は、鉛直方向に略沿って延出する柱状のもので、スチール製の丸パイプ部材により構成されている。本実施の形態では、この左右の前脚部２を、図３及び図４に示すように、天板１の奥行方向に沿った左右縁部１ｃ、１ｄよりも外方に飛び出した位置に設けるとともに、左右の前脚部２を奥行方向に変位して位置するように設けている。すなわち、前記前脚部２を天板１の左右縁部１ｃ、１ｄよりも外方に飛び出した位置に設けることにより、図７に示すように、これら左右の前脚部２間に同じ構成を有する他の机Ｂの天板１を配するようにして、上下方向へのスタッキングを可能としている。具体的には、左右の前脚部２は、その直径寸法よりも若干大きい寸法ぶんだけ左右縁部１ｃ、１ｄよりも外方に飛び出した位置に設けられている。さらに、左右の前脚部２同士をその直径寸法よりも若干大きく奥行方向に変位させて位置することにより、図８に示すように他の机Bの隣接する前脚部２との干渉を防止して天板１同士を密着させた状態で隣接することができるようにしている。

脚部取付部３は、天板１の裏面の左右縁部１ｃ、１ｄにおいて奥行方向に沿って配置してある。この脚部取付部３は、前記左右の前脚部２の上端部側を天板１の内方に向かって約４５度屈曲させるとともに天板１の裏面に略沿うように略９０度屈曲させ、さらに天板１の奥行方向に略沿うように略９０度屈曲させることにより、前記前脚部２と一体に構成されている。さらに、本実施の形態では、左右の脚部取付部３の後端部側を、巾方向に沿って延びる補強部６により連結するようにしている。この補強部６は、前記左右の脚部取付部３と一体に折り曲げて形成したもので、天板１の裏面の後縁部１ｂ側に巾方向に沿って位置するものである。そして、この脚部取付部３及び補強部６は、その内側面側に前記天板１と略平行な方向に沿って設けた平板状の取付片ｔ１をネジ等の止着具ｎを介して天板１の裏面に取り付けられる。

後脚部４は、鉛直方向に略沿って延出する左右一対の柱状のものであり、その上端部間を上水平連結部７により、また前記上端部から若干下方に変位した位置を下水平連結部８により連結されている。本実施の形態では、前記左右の後脚部４と上水平連結部７とを１本のスチール製の丸パイプ部材を下向きコ字形状に折り曲げることによって一体に形成している。一方、前記下水平連結部８は、前記左右の後脚部４間に溶接等の適宜の方法で連結してある。

物品収納部５は、複数の棒状部材を格子状に配置して形成したものであり、天板１の下面から所定距離を隔てて略水平状態で位置する底部５１と、この底部５１の後端側及び左右両端側に設けた側部５２とを具備してなり、これら底部５１と側部５２と天板１の裏面間に物品収納空間Ｓを形成し、その前方に物品を出し入れ可能な開口部５３を有するものである。さらに、この物品収納部５は、前記側部５２の上端部側に前記天板１と略平行な方向に沿って位置する平板状の取付片ｔ２を有してなり、この取付片ｔ２を天板１の裏面にネジ等の止着具ｎを利用して取り付けるようにしている。

また、本実施の形態では、前記前脚部２と後脚部４とを前記物品収納部５の底部５１よりもその下面が下方位置となるように連結する連結部９を設け、この連結部９を、スタッキング時に前記物品収納部５と他の机Ｂの天板１との間に位置して、物品収納部５と天板１との干渉を防止する干渉防止部としている。さらに、この連結部９の下面側の前後方向２箇所には、スタッキング時に他の机Ｂ側の天板１と突き当るゴム製の当て部材ｕを設けることにより、連結部９と天板１が直接当たって騒音を発生することや、他の机Ｂ側の天板１がスタッキング時に傷ついたりすることを防止するようにしている。

このような構成のものであると、スタッキング可能で天板１を密着隣接可能な机Ａに物品収納部５を設けたので、使用時には他の机Ｂと天板１を密着させた状態で隣接させて学校やオフィスでの各種状況に対応するためのレイアウトが行い易い上、文房具や書類等の物品を前記物品収納部５に収納することができ、机Ａの使い勝手を非常に良好なものとすることができる。さらに、この物品収納部５を設けるにあたり、前記脚部取付部３を、天板１の前縁部１ａに平行な巾方向に沿って設けていた従来のものに比べて、本願発明では、天板１の裏面の左右縁部１ｃ、１ｄにおいて奥行方向に沿って左右の脚部取付部３を設け、これら左右の脚部取付部３間に前記物品収納部５を設けるようにしているので、前記物品収納部５を設けるためのスペースを天板１の下方に十分に確保して、その上下寸法を可能な限り大きくすることが可能である。さらに、脚部取付部３の厚み分確保して物品収納部５を設ける必要がないため、スタッキング効率の低下を招くことなく、収納スペースを確保することが可能である。

また、スタッキング時に前記物品収納部５と他の机Ｂの天板１との間に位置して、両者の干渉を防止する干渉防止部たる連結部９を設けているので、特に、スタッキング可能なこの種の家具では、複数の家具を上下方向にスタッキングさせる時に、物品収納部に他の家具の天板等が突き当る衝撃などで変形を生じやすいものであるが、上述したような構成であると、スタッキング時には他の机Ｂの天板１に前記連結部９が優先して当たることになるため、物品収納部５の変形を有効に回避することが可能となる。

本発明は、以上説明したような構成で実施され以下に記載されるような効果を奏する。
