Background of the Invention

Tables, in particular school tables with four table legs, are generally known from the prior art. As a rule, the tabletops of the tables are square or rectangular, with a table leg being arranged vertically below the tabletop in the region of the corners of the tabletop. However, the possible uses of such tables are limited. For example, such tables cannot be stacked, so they cannot be stowed away to save space. Although such tables can be placed next to each other, however, the possibilities of how such tables can be placed next to each other are limited.

From the JP 2002 - 95 531 A a table with a table frame is known. The table top is designed rectangular. The table frame has four table legs, with the two front table legs protruding laterally from the table top and offset from one another.

From the JP 2014 - 61 263 A a table with a table frame and a table top is known. The table top is designed rectangular. The table frame has four table legs, with the two front table legs running partially outside the side edges of the table top. Via an upper, oblique end section of the front table legs, these are connected to connecting struts arranged below the table top.

object of the invention

The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a table, in particular a school table, with which the disadvantages known from the prior art can be avoided at least in part and with which, on the one hand, significantly more variants are possible for placing tables flush next to one another, and on the other hand, can be stacked in a simple and space-saving manner.

Solution according to the invention

According to the invention, this object is achieved with a table according to the independent claim. Advantageous configurations and developments of the table according to the invention are specified in the dependent claims.

Accordingly, a table is provided with a table frame and a table top, with the table top resting on the table frame, with the table frame having two front table legs and two rear table legs, with the two front table legs each being arranged outside an edge of the table top in such a way that the both front table legs protrude laterally at the respective edge. This means that the two front table legs are perpendicular to the tabletop, but are arranged outside of the tabletop, i.e. vertically below an imaginary extension of the tabletop. The table top also has two 120° angles and two 90° angles, with the two rear table legs being connected to one another via a rear connecting strut, the two rear table legs being connected to one another via a lateral connecting strut to a front table leg, with the two lateral connecting struts each at an angle γ to the rear connecting strut stand, wherein the angle γ is between 100° and 120°, preferably 110°, and the table top rests on the two rear table legs and on the two lateral connecting struts.

The distance between the two front table legs can be greater than the distance between the two rear table legs.

The two rear table legs can be arranged below the tabletop in such a way that they do not protrude laterally from the tabletop. This means that the two rear table legs, in contrast to the two front table legs, are arranged below the table top and are perpendicular to the underside of the table top.

One table leg of the two front table legs can be offset by an offset to the other table leg of the two front table legs. Tables according to the invention can thus be arranged flush next to one another in an even better way.

It is advantageous if the table top is pentagonal.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the table top has three 120° angles (i.e. three corners with an angle of 120°). However, angles between 110° and 130° are possible.

The two front table legs can each be arranged in a range between a 90° angle and a 120° angle of the tabletop. This means that the two front table legs are each arranged outside an edge of the tabletop running between a 90° angle and a 120° angle.

The two lateral connecting struts can each be guided outwards in the area of the 90° angle of the tabletop laterally on the respective edge of the tabletop, and the outwardly guided end can be connected to one of the two front table legs.

The table according to the invention can be stacked particularly easily and in a space-saving manner thanks to the front table legs arranged outside the edge of the table. At the same time, several tables can be placed flush next to each other despite the front table legs being arranged outside the table edge.

Detailed description of the invention

The table frame 10 here has four table legs 15, 16, namely two front table legs 15 and two rear table legs 16. The two rear table legs 16 are arranged below the table top 20 and perpendicular to the table top 20.

The two front table legs 15 are aligned perpendicular to the table top 20 . However, the two front table legs 15 are not arranged vertically below the table top 20, but offset to the table top 20 outside of the table top 20. This means that the two front table legs 15 are each arranged outside an edge 21a, 21b of the table top 20, so that the two front table legs 15 protrude laterally from the table top or from the respective edge 21a, 21b. The respective front table leg is connected to the table top by means of a transverse strut running perpendicularly to the respective front table leg, so that the table top 20 does not rest on the front table legs 15 but on the respective transverse strut.

The two front table legs 15 are arranged relative to the table top 20 in such a way that their upper end ends below the table top 20, i.e. the upper end of the front table legs 15 does not protrude laterally into the edges 21a, 21b of the table top 20. In one embodiment of the invention, only one rear table leg can be provided instead of two rear table legs 16, so that the table frame 10 has a total of three table legs. In this case, the rear table leg is arranged approximately in the middle, i.e. approximately in the middle between the two in 1 shown rear table legs 16. The two rear table legs 16 are connected to one another via a rear connecting strut 40 . The right front table leg 15a is connected to the rear left table leg via a lateral connecting strut 41a.
