Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention provides a value medium transport system for transporting a value medium having value such as cash, checks, gift certificates, and other securities to a predetermined destination.ToRelated.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, there are the following examples of methods for collecting and managing sales at individual sales outlets or sales outlets of large stores.
In other words, a night-safe depositing method in which sales and sales slips for each store are entrusted for processing in a state of being enclosed in a dedicated bag.
Further, a drawer depositing method in which a cash register drawer is formed in a cassette structure, and the cash collected in the drawer portion is used as a drawer for a depositing process provided to a cash depositing apparatus installed by a collection contractor (such as a security company).
Also, a dedicated deposit cassette method that collects only 10,000 yen bills by placing a dedicated deposit cassette that accommodates only 10,000 yen bills at a cash register (account), and collects the dedicated deposit cassettes to a collection contractor for a predetermined period or amount. .
A clerk depositing method in which cash is sold by a clerk who is set up by a consignment collector who collects the sales when the store is closed and a cash deposit device installed by the bank.
[0003]
Each of the above methods has the following problems. That is,
In the case of the night safe deposit method described above, the night safe dedicated bags are inserted into the night safe by the number of small management units at each store, each sales floor, etc., so the work of putting cash and slips into the bag and post-processing is very troublesome There is a point.
[0004]
In other words, the post-processing work described above involves collecting the night safe box bag, taking out separately enclosed cash and slips, counting the cash manually or by machine, checking the slips, and It is an operation to execute a deposit procedure such as transfer, and in this post-processing, it is necessary to concentrate the counting processing later and collect and the cash to be counted is an individual management unit There is a problem that the work load is increased and the post-processing takes time and labor.
[0005]
Moreover, not only on the post-processing side, but also on the pre-processing side, that is, as the work of the clerk who puts cash into the night safe box, it is complicated to count sales, count cash manually, fill out consignment slips, etc. There is a heavy work, and this work takes time. In addition to the regular staff engaged in the above work, there are many temporary staff members such as part-time workers, and the reduction of work including fraud induction is a problem.
[0006]
Furthermore, the above-mentioned dedicated deposit cassette method also has problems such as pre-processing such as slip function and post-processing such as check processing of slip and cash. is doing.
[0007]
In addition, as an alternative to the night safe deposit method and the dedicated safe cassette method described above, there are the following problems when using a cash deposit apparatus such as the above-described drawer deposit method and clerk deposit method. . That is,
The clerk deposit method has a security problem because the clerk needs to deposit cash directly by hand.
[0008]
When both of the above methods are used, the processing for depositing sales proceeds at the tenant's (management unit) closing time, and a waiting queue for the order of the deposit operation is created in front of the cash deposit device. Since the counting process, receipt issuing process, etc. are performed in real time, the processing time per transaction is long, which is the cause of the queue and the processing efficiency is poor.
[0009]
In addition, if there are multiple cash deposit devices, the above queue will be eliminated accordingly, but if it is a queue only for a specific time such as a closing time as mentioned above, it will be active in other time zones. The operating rate of the apparatus is extremely poor, and costs are wasted. Further, since the collected cash corresponding to the additional devices is distributed to each device, the burden of aggregation on the collection contractor side increases.
[0010]
Moreover, according to the above-mentioned cash deposit apparatus, since the counting process is mechanically performed inside the apparatus, it is unavoidable to jam banknotes and coins. When such a failure such as a jam occurs, the operation (operation) of the apparatus stops, and the user must wait until the failure is recovered. In addition, since the above-described failure recovery work is performed by the collection contractor, there is a problem that the number of dispatches increases.
[0011]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention solves each of the above-mentioned problems by transporting a reasonable value medium such as cash, reduces pre-processing and post-processing of the value medium for transportation, and also processes the value medium itself. Can reduce the work burden on both the store side and the collection contractor side, and can increase the security by reducing direct contact with the value medium of the staff, and many other utility values Value media transport system that can be obtainedOfFor the purpose of provision.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, a storage cassette and a transport cassette for storing a value medium,EnteredA value medium collecting device for transferring the value medium of the storage cassette to the transport cassette,A value medium transport system for transporting a value medium held in the transport cassette,The storage cassetteHolds the value medium related data including the counting means for counting the amount of the stored value medium, the authenticating means for authenticating the validity of the stored value medium, and the amount of the value medium and the authentication information by the authenticating means. A storage unit and a communication unit that transmits the value medium related data to the value medium collection device, wherein the value medium collection device includes the storage cartridge. Transfer means for transferring the value medium stored in the set to the transport cassette, a communication unit for communicating with the storage cassette or the transport cassette, and the value medium related data received from the input storage cassette If the authentication information exists, the control unit transfers the value medium and the value medium related data to the transport cassette, and returns the storage cassette if the authentication information does not exist. It is a value medium transport system.
[0013]
The invention according to
[0014]
[Operation and effect of the invention]
This invention (claim)1), A value medium such as sales proceeds is stored in a storage cassette for each store or each management unit of each sales floor, and related data of the value medium is collected at the time of storage. For example, in the case of cash, related data such as denominations of coins and banknotes, the number and amount of each denomination, the total storage amount, and the date of receipt of the value medium are collected. When the stored value medium of the storage cassette is transferred to the transport cassette for transporting, the collected value medium related data is also transferred simultaneously with the transfer of the value medium, and the transport cassette is transported.
[0015]
If transported in this way, that is, the storage of the value medium in the storage cassette can be stored in the storage cassette at any time when the value medium reaches an appropriate storage amount, and related data is accumulated at the time of storage to store any value medium. By transferring to the transport cassette in the time zone, for example, it can be avoided that the storage processing is concentrated in the closed time zone as in the prior art, and the preprocessing work is smoothed and reduced.
[0016]
Furthermore, when the value medium is stored in the storage cassette and at the same time the related data is held, the amount of the value medium is determined at this point, and when the value medium is transferred from the storage cassette to the transport cassette, By transferring the data, it is possible to transfer the value medium for which the quantity has been determined. At the time of this transfer, there is no takeover processing work such as counting of the value medium and slip processing, so the transfer work can be simplified and processed. In addition, it is possible to speed up the process, and it is possible to perform mechanical transfer such as using a device for the above-described transfer, thereby improving security.
[0017]
Furthermore, when transferring with the value medium collection device, the device side does not need the counting process, so that it is not necessary to feed and transport one sheet of media, for example,,It is possible to adopt a simple transfer structure, such as transferring (carrying) the value medium in a bundle. Therefore, if the value medium is a bill or a coin, the machine can be prevented from being down due to the occurrence of a jam, and the work for recovery from the failure can be avoided. The burden on the transport contractor (collection contractor) is reduced.
[0018]
Further, since the value medium and the value medium-related data are concentrated on the transport cassette, there is no conventional work of matching and confirming the slip, the collection is simple, and the burden on the collection work can be reduced.
[0019]
Furthermore, when transferring the value medium of the transport cassette on behalf of the contractor's account, it may be executed based on the value medium related data transferred at the same time as the value medium, and post-processing is simplified and speeded up.
[0020]
further,By providing storage means in the storage cassette and storing the value medium related data in this, the correspondence between the storage value medium and the related data is ensured, and there is no mistake with other storage value media..
[0021]
further,The amount of value media received is counted and stored as value media related data.ToThe amount of value media stored is clarified, and the amount of data and storage cassetteAndCan be transported with the same correspondence, and later verification becomes easy.
[0022]
In particular,Responsible for the confirmation operation before and after the transfer by permitting transfer of the value medium and its related data on condition that the authenticity of the value medium stored in the storage cassette is authenticated by the authentication means A demarcation (a boundary that divides the scope of responsibility, for example, a boundary that divides the scope of responsibility between the store and the collector) can be formed, and the responsibility demarcation between the store and the collection contractor becomes clear.
[0023]

[Explanation of adding transaction conditions for collectors]
The establishment of the transaction conditions in
[0118]
FIG. 26 shows the above conditions.ofIn step n48 in FIG. 22, since sales related data is read from the storage device of the storage cassette A, it is determined whether or not the expiration date and the number of valid transactions are valid. If the transaction condition is valid, the storage cassette A is collected inside the money collection device 14 (step n69), and the reason for the collection is displayed on the
[0119]
When the storage cassette A is collected in this way, the storage cassette A that has expired and the number of valid transactions has expired.TeThe opportunity to modify the storage cassette A can be eliminated by nonce.
[0120]
FIG. 27 further shows the case where the effective conveyance time is set for the establishment of the transaction conditions. When this effective conveyance time has elapsed, the relationship between the sales amount stored in the storage device (RAM 63) of the storage cassette A by an appropriate timer means is shown. Set to clear the data.
[0121]
Then, it is determined whether or not this data first exists, that is, whether or not the data has been cleared after a lapse of a predetermined time (step n81), and whether or not the conveyance set time is within the valid time from the above-mentioned related data. When these determinations are recognized, the transaction conditions are satisfied. When these determinations are not permitted, the transaction conditions are not satisfied, the storage cassette A is returned, and the transaction is performed. Exit.
[0122]
In this way, when determining the transport time of the storage cassette A, it is possible to reduce the time for falsification of the related data of the sales proceeds, to eliminate the opportunity for falsification, and to store the storage cassette A in the
[0123]
[Explanation of storage cassette operation history check]
As already explained, the related data of the sales amount stored in the storage device of the storage cassette A includes the operation history record of the storage cassette, for example,
Shutter opening / closing frequency (number of accesses to internal media (cash))
Medium (cash) set information
Number of pressing operations of acquisition start button
Amount confirmation operation
Log of conveyance detection sensor
Count start time and end time
Therefore, by recording this operation history record in a recording device (built-in hard disk, journal printer) provided in the
[0124]
For example, if the shutter opening / closing records are abnormally large, it can be inferred that banknotes and coins in the stored item have been accessed unnecessarily. In this way, fraud can be found and prevented by the operation history.
