Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a racket frame used for ball games such as hard tennis and soft tennis, and particularly relates to a racket frame made of a molded body having a fiber reinforced resin layer.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Bamboo, light metal, and the like have been used for hard tennis rackets in the past, but recently fiber reinforced resin has been the mainstream. Since the fiber reinforced resin has a high specific strength, the tennis racket can be reduced in weight while the strength is maintained. Also, the fiber reinforced resin tennis racket is suitable for mass production.
[0003]
By the way, when the player hits the ball with the tennis racket, the tennis racket vibrates. This vibration is transmitted to the player's human body through the grip and gives the player discomfort. Vibration is also considered to be a cause of so-called tennis elbow. In particular, when the ball is hit at a portion other than the sweet area of the hitting surface, intense vibrations are generated, which causes great damage to the player.
[0004]
The tennis racket made of the above-mentioned fiber reinforced resin is superior in vibration damping performance compared to a metal tennis racket or the like, but even this fiber reinforced resin tennis racket does not have sufficient vibration damping performance and is still a tennis elbow. Such problems are not completely solved. Moreover, in recent years, the fiber reinforced resin tennis racket is being further reduced in weight by increasing the strength and elasticity of the fiber, but there is a tendency that the vibration damping performance decreases with this reduction in weight. . In the tennis racket made of fiber reinforced resin, further improvement in vibration damping is desired.
[0005]
Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 10-337812 discloses a tennis racket in which an ionomer resin film is interposed in a fiber reinforced resin laminate having an epoxy resin as a matrix. Since the ionomer resin is more excellent in vibration damping than the epoxy resin, the vibration damping of the tennis racket is improved by interposing the ionomer resin film.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, even with a tennis racket interposing an ionomer resin film, vibration damping properties are still not sufficient. Moreover, since ionomer resin is inferior in adhesiveness with an epoxy resin, an ionomer resin film may cause peeling by repeated hit | damage. If peeling occurs, the strength of the tennis racket will decrease. In reality, there is a demand for a tennis racket that further enhances vibration damping properties and is less prone to delamination.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of such a situation, and an object thereof is to provide a racket frame having excellent vibration damping properties.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To achieve this object, the present invention is a racket frame comprising a tubular body in which a plurality of fiber reinforced resin layers are laminated,
A head part that forms the contour of the ball striking surface, two throat parts that extend from the head part and join each other at one end, a shaft part that is formed continuously from the joining point of these throat parts to the throat part, With a grip portion formed continuously on the shaft portion,
The head portion, throat portion, in between the layers of any of the fiber-reinforced resin layer of the grip portion, sheet-like tanδ at 10 ° C. and 10Hz consists chlorinated polyethylene is 1.0 to 4.0, the volume It provides a racquet frame, characterized in that it is interposed 0.05 cm 3 or more 20 cm 3 or less and the vibration absorbing member.
[0009]
In this racket frame, since a vibration absorber made of a viscoelastic material having a tan δ at 10 ° C. of 1.0 or more is interposed in the molded body, vibration damping is enhanced by the action of the vibration absorber. Therefore, vibration transmitted to the human body is suppressed, the player is less uncomfortable, and the occurrence of tennis elbow is also suppressed. If tan δ is less than 1.0, the vibration damping effect of the vibration absorber may not be sufficiently exhibited. From this viewpoint, tan δ is preferably 1.2 or more, and more preferably 1.5 or more. Since the vibration damping property increases as tan δ increases, the upper limit of tan δ does not need to be specified in the present invention. However, because of the availability of materials that can be used for the racket frame, tan δ is 4.0 or less, In particular, it is preferably 3.0 or less, more preferably 2.0 or less.
[0010]
The tan δ of the vibration absorber is measured by a viscoelasticity measuring device (Viscoelasticity spectrometer “DVA200 improved type” manufactured by Shimadzu Corporation). The measurement conditions are a frequency of 10 Hz, a jig is tensile, a temperature rising rate is 2 ° C./min, an initial strain is 2 mm, and a displacement amplitude is plus or minus 12.5 μm. The dimensions of the test piece (dumbbell) are 4.0 mm in width, 1.66 mm in thickness, and 30.0 mm in length. Since both ends of the test piece are chucked by 5 mm, the length of the displacement portion of the test piece is 20.0 mm.

The volume of the vibration absorber, as described above, and 0.05 cm 3 or more 20 cm 3 or less, preferably 0.1 cm 3 or more 15cm 3 or less. If the volume is less than the above range, the vibration damping property of the racket frame may not be sufficiently increased. Conversely, if the volume exceeds the above range, a vibration absorber may be interposed in the molded body. It can be difficult.
[0012]
Further, as described above, the molded body of the racket frame of the present invention has a plurality of fiber reinforced resin layers laminated, and the vibration absorber is interposed between the fiber reinforced resin layers. This prevents the vibration absorber from being detached. Note that, for example, even when the vibration absorber is attached to the inner wall surface of the hollow molded body, the vibration attenuation of the tennis racket is improved. Also, in the tennis racket formed by injection molding, even if the vibration absorber is embedded in the synthetic resin meat or attached to the inner wall surface of the hollow molded body, the vibration damping property of the tennis racket Will improve.
[0013]
Since the shape of the vibration absorber is a sheet, manufacturing is facilitated when the vibration absorber is interposed between the fiber reinforced resin layers.
[0014]
In order to set the tan δ at 10 ° C. of the viscoelastic material to 1.0 or more, a polymer having a large tan δ itself may be used as the main polymer of the viscoelastic material. Examples of the polymer having a large tan δ per se include chlorinated polyethylene. Further, even if the tan δ itself is not so large, a viscoelastic material having a tan δ of 1.0 or more can be obtained by adding a softening agent such as oil to the polymer. Examples of such a viscoelastic material include a material in which a large amount of oil is blended with polynorbornene. Specific examples of the viscoelastic material having a tan δ at 10 ° C. of 1.0 or more include Tosoh's Elastage ED series (trade name). Among these viscoelastic materials, it is preferable to select one having excellent adhesion with the matrix resin of the fiber reinforced resin layer. For example, for a fiber reinforced resin layer whose matrix resin is an epoxy resin, a vibration absorber made of chlorinated polyethylene is preferable. By selecting a viscoelastic material having excellent adhesion to the matrix resin, peeling of the vibration absorber is suppressed.
[0015]
Usually, the racket frame is formed continuously from the head portion forming the outline of the hitting surface, two throat portions extending from the head portion and joining each other at one end, and the throat portion from the junction point of these throat portions. A shaft portion and a grip portion formed continuously with the shaft portion are provided. Among these, when the vibration absorber is interposed in the head portion, the in-plane secondary attenuation rate (detailed later) is mainly increased. Further, when the vibration absorber is interposed in the throat portion, the out-of-plane secondary attenuation rate (detailed later) is mainly increased. Further, when the vibration absorber is interposed in the grip portion, the out-of-plane primary attenuation rate (described in detail later) is mainly increased.

【Example】
Hereinafter, the effects of the present invention will be clarified on the basis of examples, but it is needless to say that the present invention should not be construed as being limited based on the description of the examples.
[0025]
[Example 1]
Five prepreg sheets in which the matrix is an epoxy resin and the reinforcing fibers are carbon fibers were wound around a mandrel. At this time, a sheet made of chlorinated polyethylene (tan δ at 10 ° C. is 1.5) having a length of 5 cm, a width of 2.5 cm, and a thickness of 0.2 mm is provided between the prepreg sheets at the 1 o'clock position and the 11 o'clock position. Inserted. After the mandrel was removed, the molded body was heated in the mold to obtain the racket frame of Example 1. The weight of this racket frame was 220 g, and the balance was 370 mm.
[0026]
[Comparative Example 1]
Example in which an ionomer resin sheet having the same dimensions and a tan δ at 10 ° C. of 0.1 (trade name “HIMILAN 1652” from Mitsui DuPont Polychemical Co., Ltd.) was used instead of the chlorinated polyethylene sheet. In the same manner as in Example 1, a racket frame of Comparative Example 1 was obtained.
[0027]
[Example 2]
A racket frame of Example 2 was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the number of chlorinated polyethylene sheets used was one and the insertion position was a yoke part.
[0028]
[Example 3]
A racket frame of Example 3 was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that a chlorinated polyethylene sheet having a length of 5 cm and a thickness of 0.2 mm was inserted over the entire circumference of the throat part.
[0029]
[Comparative Example 2]
Example in which an ionomer resin sheet having the same dimensions and a tan δ at 10 ° C. of 0.1 (trade name “HIMILAN 1652” from Mitsui DuPont Polychemical Co., Ltd.) was used instead of the chlorinated polyethylene sheet. In the same manner as in No. 3, a racket frame of Comparative Example 2 was obtained.
[0030]
[Example 4]
The racket frame of Example 4 was used in the same manner as in Example 1 except that a chlorinated polyethylene sheet having a length of 5 cm, a width of 1.5 cm, and a thickness of 2 mm was used, and the insertion position was a vertical rib of the grip portion. Obtained.
[0031]
[Example 5]
Using two chlorinated polyethylene sheets having a length of 5 cm, a width of 1.5 cm, and a thickness of 2 mm, except that the insertion position was a position along the sides on both sides of the grip portion, the same as in Example 1, A racket frame of Example 5 was obtained.
[0032]
[Comparative Example 3]
A racket frame of Comparative Example 3 was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the chlorinated polyethylene sheet was not inserted.

[Table 1]
[0039]
In Table 1, the racket frame of each example in which a chlorinated polyethylene sheet is interposed is superior in vibration damping performance to the racket frame of comparative example 3 in which this is not interposed. Moreover, although the vibration damping property is improved in the racket frames of Comparative Examples 1 and 2 in which the sheet made of ionomer resin is interposed, the extent is not as good as the racket frames of the respective examples. From these experimental results, the superiority of the racket frame of the present invention was confirmed.
[0040]
The present invention has been described in detail by taking a racket frame for hard tennis as an example. However, the present invention can be applied to various racket frames such as a racket frame for soft tennis.
[0041]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, since the racket frame of the present invention is excellent in vibration damping properties, a player using this racket frame is less likely to feel discomfort due to vibration at the time of hitting, and the occurrence of tennis elbow is also suppressed.
