【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、圃場に繁茂した甘藷等の蔓を特定個所へ搬送除去する蔓処理機に関する。

【従来の技術】
機体の走行中に圃場に繁茂した甘藷等の蔓を藷畝に沿って切断処理するようにした蔓処理機は存在している(特公平4−56572号公報参照)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本出願人は、上記した従来の蔓処理機をさらに改良し、特願平8−164031号で提案している。

この改良処理機では、機体の走行中に圃場に繁茂した蔓を掻き込み装置で掻き集め、このように掻き集めた蔓を蔓挟持搬送装置で挟み付けて斜め上方へ搬送し特定個所へ排出する構成としてある。このさい、掻き込み装置は蔓挟持搬送装置の先端部に装着される。

この処理機は蔓の排除作業の能率を飛躍的に向上させるものであるが、掻き集めた蔓を特定個所へ搬送する過程で蔓が搬送経路から左右に外れて垂れ下がり、絡み付いたり、こぼれ落ちることがあり、このように絡み付いたり、こぼれ落ちた蔓は手作業等で取り除くことが必要となるのである。

本発明は、このような実状の下、掻き集めた蔓を特定個所へ効率的に搬送することを可能となして余分な手間を軽減させることのできる甘藷等の蔓処理機を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の解決しようとする課題は以上の如くであり、次に該課題を解決するための手段を説明する。
請求項1においては、機体の走行中に畝hの上面及び左右斜面に繁茂した蔓を掻き込み装置47で掻き集め、挟持搬送装置69で根付いた蔓tを引きちぎりし、続いて掻き集めた蔓tと引きちぎりした蔓tを斜め後ろ上方へ搬送し、その搬送途中より隣接する畝hあるいは溝m上へ排出する蔓処理機であって、駆動力を有した2個の広巾プーリ27,36と回転自在な広巾プーリ59を左右対称に設け、該広巾プーリ27,36、59間に前記蔓tを挟持搬送する幅広の搬送ベルト68,68を左右一対として対向して巻き掛けして、前端は低く後端に向かうほど後高傾設で上下揺動可能とした挟持搬送装置69を機体上に設け、該挟持搬送装置69の始端部上方に、突起を列設した無端状の掻き込みベルト46,46を左右一対として巻き掛けした前端部を、畝hの上面及び左右斜面に繁茂した蔓tを掻き集めする掻き込み搬送部とし、この掻き込み搬送部から後方を前記挟持搬送装置69と共に搬送する搬送部を備えた掻き込み装置47を設け、前記挟持搬送装置69の搬送経路中途部より終端部に亘り、前記挟持搬送装置69と共に前記蔓tを搬送する後部蔓補助搬送装置67を設け、前記掻き込み装置47と前記後部蔓補助搬送装置67を前記挟持搬送装置69の搬送経路のほぼ全長の直上に連続して沿わせて設けたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1〜図7を参照して、本発明に係る蔓処理機の実施例を説明する。全体は図1〜図3に示すように、走行機構部A、回動中心機構部B及び蔓処理機構部Cからなっている。

先ず走行機構部Aについて説明すると、次の通りである。即ち、1はエンジンで、これの前部から管部材等からなる走行フレーム2を延出させてあり、走行フレーム2の左右各先端にはバリカン式の切断部3aを備えた蔓切断装置3、3、分草板4及びゲイジ輪gが固定してある。

5はエンジン1の進行方向の左側面に固定したミッションケースで、このミッションケース5の左右各側部には走行駆動ケース6が基部廻りへ揺動変位可能に設けてあり、各走行駆動ケース6の先端部には走行車輪7が装着してある。

走行フレーム2の長さ途中の左右各側には車輪高さ調整部材8が設けてあり、この調整部材8は走行駆動ケース6の先端部を任意高さに固定するものとなしてある。

9は走行フレーム2と同体部から後方へ延出させた操縦ハンドルであり、10は走行クラッチレバー、11は進行方向切換レバー、12は変速レバーであり、13は図示しないスプリングの弾力に抗して後方へ退避移動可能とした支持ローラである。

上記走行機構部Aの作動を説明すると、エンジン1の回転は走行クラッチレバー10の入り操作によりミッションケース5内に伝達され、続いて走行駆動ケース6、6内を経て各走行車輪7へ伝達される。
また機体の進行方向は進行方向切換レバー11で切り換えられ、エンジン1と走行車輪の回転比は変速レバー12で切り換えられる。
また分草板4は圃場面近傍に繁茂した蔓を切断部3aへ案内し、切断部3aはこれに交差状に当接する蔓を切断する。

次に回動中心機構部Bについて説明すると、次の通りである。
即ち、14は左右方向へ延出された横回転軸15を備えた回動中心ギヤケースであり、横回転軸15の左右部は、図4に示すように走行フレーム2の長さ途中に固定された左右の横軸受支持筒16、16に回転変位自在に内挿させ、回動中心ギヤケース14が走行フレーム2に対し横回転軸15廻りへ揺動変位する状態となしてある。

回動中心ギヤケース14の上面には左右二つの縦軸受支持筒18を形成し、各支持筒18に縦回転軸19を内挿させてあり、この縦回転軸19と前記横回転軸15はミッションケース5のPTO軸20から自在継ぎ手軸21を介して伝達される動力で回転駆動される構成としてある。

上記した左右の軸受横支持筒16、16の外方端にはクランクケース22、22が固定してあり、各クランクケース22内の横回転軸1に固定したクランク23の動作がリンク機構24を介してその対応する切断部3aに伝達され、上下往復切断運動を起こさせるように構成してある。

次に蔓処理機構部Cについて説明すると、次の通りである。
即ち、左右の各縦回転軸19の特定高さ位置に広巾プーリ27が固定してあり、このプーリ27の上側の縦回転軸19に二つの間隔保持筒28、28を外嵌して、これら保持筒28、28の間にこれと対応する側のチェーンケース29の上端を支持させてあり、また各縦回転軸19の上端に狭巾プーリ30を固定させてある。

31は回動中心ギヤケース14の前側から左右各側の前方へ延出させた前部支持フレームで、これの左右の先端を各側のチェーンケース29の前端部に固定して各チェーンケース29を回動中心ギヤケース14と一体状になしてある。

各チェーンケース29の先端部から延出させたベルト支持棒42には先端部プーリ支持板43が固定してあり、この支持板43には二つの狭巾プーリ44、45が軸着してある。
そして、左右各側において、これらプーリ44、45と前記狭巾プーリ30の間に比較的長い突起の列設された無端状の掻き込みベルト46を掛け回し、これら一対のベルト46、46を前部蔓補助搬送装置として機能する掻き込み装置47となしてある。

このさい、狭巾プーリ45は図示しないスプリングで弾性支持して掻き込みベルト46にテンションを付与するものとなし、また左右の掻き込みベルト46、46の対向個所を掻き込み搬送部となし、この搬送部を図示しない案内板やこの案内板を支持するスプリング等に弾性支持させる。

各縦回転軸19の縦軸受支持筒18の外周と、間隔保持部材28の外周にはプーリ支持アーム48、48が縦回転軸19廻りの揺動自在に枢着してあり、これら二つの支持アーム48、48の先端部に軸受を介して回転支持軸49を架設し、この回転支持軸49に広巾プーリ50が固定してある。
このさい、これら左右の支持アーム48、48にはこれらを互いに近接させる図示しないスプリングを設ける。

左右の各広巾プーリ50の回転支持軸49の上側には間隔保持部材51が設けてあり、この間隔保持部材51は支持アーム48に対し回転支持軸49廻りへ一定角度の揺動変位可能となしてあり、この間隔保持部材51から後方へ上部支持杆52が延出させてある。

各上部支持杆52は四角筒状の内管52aと外管52bを具備し、前者が後者に内挿され、スプリング53の弾力で伸張方向へ付勢され、且つ後端に軸受筒54を固定した構成としてある。
軸受筒54には回転軸55を内挿してあり、これの上端に狭巾プーリ56を固定し、下端に広巾プーリ5を固定してある。
各上部支持杆52の二つの広巾プーリ50、59間には二つのC形支持アーム60、60が軸着してあり、これらアーム60、60に3つのテンションプーリ61の連着された支持棒62を軸着すると共に図示しないスプリングでこれらテンションプーリ61が左右向きの一定方向へ付勢された状態とする。

さらに各上部支持杆52の前部からはベルト支持棒63を前方へ延出させ、この支持棒63に後部プーリ支持板64を固定すると共にプーリ支持板64の前部に狭巾プーリ65を軸着している。
そして、左右各側において、このプーリ65と前記プーリ56の間に比較的低い突起の列設された無端状の搬送ベルト66を掛け回し、これら一対のベルト66、66を後部蔓補助搬送装置67となしてある。
このさい、狭巾プーリ65は図示しないスプリングで弾性保持して、搬送ベルト66にテンションを付与するものとなし、また左右の搬送ベルト66、66の対向個所を搬送部となし、この搬送部を図示しない案内板とこの案内板を支持するスプリング等に弾性支持させる。

また、左右各側の巾広プーリ27、36、50、59及びテンションプーリ41、61の間に無端状の挟持搬送ベルト68を掛け回し、これら一対のベルト68、68を挟持搬送装置69として機能させるのである。
このさい、挟持搬送ベルト68の断面は巾中央の内面に突起条を有するものとなし、この突起条を巾広プーリ27、36、50、59及びテンションプーリ41、61の巾中央の凹みに嵌合させる。

左右のチェーンケース29の後部には屈曲状の支持アーム70aが軸着してあり、このアーム70aの先端に案内ローラ70を軸着すると共にこの案内ローラ70と同軸に延長アーム71を一定範囲内の左右揺動自在に枢着し、このアーム71の先端をこれの対応する回転支持軸49、49の下端に枢着させた構成としてある。
さらに左右の広巾プーリ27、27の外側近傍にはチェーンケース29と同体に保持された案内ローラ72を設け、必要時に挟持搬送ベルト68の外面側を案内するものとしてある。

上記した蔓処理機構部Cにおいて、縦回転軸19の回転は広巾プーリ27、スプロケット39及び狭巾プーリ30を同体的に回転させ、またスプロケット39の回転はチェーン40及びスプロケット38を介して広巾プーリ36を回転させる。
これにより、左右の各挟持搬送ベルト68、68は二つの広巾プーリ27、36で周回移動され、これらベルト68、68の対向部はテンションローラ41、61で圧接された状態で前方から後方へ移動する。

上記狭巾プーリ30の回転は左右の掻き込みベルト46、46を周回移動させるものとなり、これにより、これらベルト46、46の対向部は適当間隔を保持して挟持搬送ベルト68と同一速度で前方から後方へ移動する。

また各挟持搬送ベルト68の周回移動は広巾プーリ59及び、これと一体の回転軸55及び狭巾プーリ56を回転させるものとなり、狭巾プーリ56の回転は左右の搬送ベルト66、66を周回移動させ、これにより、これらベルト66、66の対向部は間隔を徐々に狭めながら挟持搬送ベルト68と同一速度で前方から後方へ移動するものとなる。

次に上記した本発明の蔓処理機で甘藷の蔓を処理する場合の使用例を説明する。二つの走行車輪7、7は図5に示すように藷畝hの左右の溝mに位置させて藷畝hを跨いだ状態となし、また、左右の上部支持杆52、52を例えば進行方向の右側へ任意な適当角度だけ振り移動させて二つの支持杆52、52のうちの一方を図示しない規制手段でチェーンケース29と同体に固定し、図1及び図5に示す状態とする。

また揺動操作ハンドル25を操作して蔓処理機構部Cを横回転軸15廻りへ揺動させ、左右の鼓形ローラ34を藷畝hの左右斜面に沿わせて当接させる。このさい支持ローラ13は藷畝h上に当接した状態となされる。

この後、機体を走行させ、各部を作動状態とする。これにより、分草板4は溝m内で根付いた蔓tや、前行程で走行車輪7に踏まれ土中に埋もれた蔓t等を順次に掘り起こして切断部3aに案内し、また掻き込み装置47は掻き込みベルト46、46の突起で藷畝hの上面及びその左右斜面に繁茂した蔓tを連続的にその搬送始端に掻き込み、続いて後向き斜め上方へ搬送する。

切断部3aは、図6に示すように、これに交差してきた蔓tを溝m内で切断しつつ前進するのであり、このさい掻き込み装置47は切断部3aに交差した蔓を引っ張るように作用するため、蔓tは切断され易い状態となって的確に切断されるものとなる。

こうして掻き込み装置47に掻き込まれた蔓tはやがて挟持搬送装置69の搬送始端に供給されるのであり、この後、挟持搬送装置69が強力にこれら蔓tを挟み付けて後向き斜め上方へ搬送し、順次に上方へ引き上げる。
この引き上げが進行すると、左右近傍を鼓形ローラ34で押さえられた藷の蔓元に強力な引張力が作用し、その蔓元が引きちぎられるのであり、このような引きちぎり処理は藷畝hに沿って行われる。
この引きちぎりに代えて、適宜な切断装置で接断するようにすることもできる。

挟持搬送装置69は、この引きちぎり処理の終了した蔓tを広巾プーリ27の位置(折曲個所)から広巾プーリ50の位置(第二の折曲個所)を経て搬送終端まで搬送し、隣りの藷畝h上等に落下させる。

一方、掻き込み装置47は、図7に示すように挟持搬送装置69の搬送する蔓tの上部を抱いて挟持搬送装置69の搬送経路の直上に沿って広巾プーリ27の個所まで搬送するのであり、この後は、後側蔓補助搬送装置67が掻き込み装置47の搬送終端に達する前の蔓tを受け取り、やはり挟持搬送装置69の搬送する蔓tの上部を抱いて挟持搬送装置69の搬送経路の直上に沿って挟持搬送装置69の搬送終端まで搬送し解放する。

こうして掻き込み装置47及び後側蔓補助搬送装置67は、挟持搬送装置69に挟持されて搬送される蔓tの上部を挟持搬送装置69の搬送経路の全過程において抱き持ちつつ搬送する蔓補助搬送装置として機能するのである。
このさい、挟持搬送装置69と掻き込み装置47と後側蔓補助搬送装置67とで搬送される蔓tは例えば10cm程度離れた上下二個所を支持されるため、比較的立姿状に保持されて左右へ垂れ下がり難くなり、こぼれ落ちることや絡み付きを生じることなく効率的に搬送されるものとなる。

ところで、前行程で処理した蔓t1を載せられた隣りの藷畝hの蔓tを処理する場合も、上記に準じて処理することになる。この場合には、藷畝h上の蔓tの量が多くなっているが、掻き込み装置47及び後側蔓補助搬送装置67が挟持搬送装置69に挟持されて搬送される蔓tの上部やこの蔓tに載せられ絡み付いた蔓t1等をも効果的に抱き持って搬送するため、これらの蔓t、t1はやはり左右へこぼれ落ちることや絡み付きを生じることなく効率的に搬送されるものとなる。

このように藷畝h上の蔓はその量が2〜3倍程度になっていても支障なく搬送除去されるものとなる。従って、挟持搬送装置69による蔓tの排除個所は広い範囲で選択可能となって、蔓除去及び藷掘り等の作業を効率的となす個所に落下させることができるのである。

【発明の効果】
請求項1に記載の如く、機体の走行中に畝hの上面及び左右斜面に繁茂した蔓を掻き込み装置47で掻き集め、挟持搬送装置69で根付いた蔓tを引きちぎりし、続いて掻き集めた蔓tと引きちぎりした蔓tを斜め後ろ上方へ搬送し、その搬送途中より隣接する畝hあるいは溝m上へ排出する蔓処理機であって、駆動力を有した2個の広巾プーリ27,36と回転自在な広巾プーリ59を左右対称に設け、該広巾プーリ27,36、59間に前記蔓tを挟持搬送する幅広の搬送ベルト68,68を左右一対として対向して巻き掛けして、前端は低く後端に向かうほど後高傾設で上下揺動可能とした挟持搬送装置69を機体上に設け、該挟持搬送装置69の始端部上方に、突起を列設した無端状の掻き込みベルト46,46を左右一対として巻き掛けした前端部を、畝hの上面及び左右斜面に繁茂した蔓tを掻き集めする掻き込み搬送部とし、この掻き込み搬送部から後方を前記挟持搬送装置69と共に搬送する搬送部を備えた掻き込み装置47を設け、前記挟持搬送装置69の搬送経路中途部より終端部に亘り、前記挟持搬送装置69と共に前記蔓tを搬送する後部蔓補助搬送装置67を設け、前記掻き込み装置47と前記後部蔓補助搬送装置67を前記挟持搬送装置69の搬送経路のほぼ全長の直上に連続して沿わせて設けたことにより、掻き込み装置47と後部蔓補助搬送装置67が挟持搬送装置69により挟持搬送される蔓の上部に搬送力を付与するため、蔓は挟持搬送装置69と掻き込み装置47と後部蔓補助 搬送装置67で上下二個所を支持されて、挟持搬送装置69上を搬送する姿勢変化を規制された状態で確実に搬送されるようになり、蔓の搬送除去を確実且つ効率的に行えるものである。
また、挟持搬送装置の前端に設けた広巾プーリおよび、縦回転軸に設けた広巾プーリで搬送ベルトに駆動力を付与することによって、搬送ベルトのスリップが減少するとともに、搬送ベルトの搬送面で蔓を挟持する挟持力が増して、根付いた蔓を引きちぎる力が増大し、しかも搬送ベルトが外れ難くなった。
