カラオケ装置におけるピッチシフターは、歌声ピッチの周波数を自在に変換できることから、伴奏音楽の主旋律から歌声を主旋律に合わせる、いわゆる音痴補正にも利用されている。しかしながら、どんなに歌声ピッチが外れていても無理矢理主旋律に合うように補正していたのでは、歌唱者自身の音声と周波数変換後の音声とがかけ離れ、歌唱者にとっては自分の歌声ピッチがどのくらい楽曲とかけ離れているのを認識できず、音痴を克服するための意欲が湧かない。聞き手にとっても違和感が大きい。かといって、ピッチが外れた歌を聴かされるのも苦痛である。

【発明の実施の形態】
===カラオケ装置の構成と動作===
