Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a dioxin treatment apparatus, and more specifically, is included in fly ash and incineration ash discharged from various incinerators such as a waste incinerator (hereinafter collectively referred to as “incineration fly ash”). Efficient organic chlorinated compounds such as poly-chloro-p-dibenzodioxins (PCDD), polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDF), coplanar PCB (co-PCB) (hereinafter collectively referred to as “dioxins”) The present invention relates to a processing apparatus.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In incinerators such as garbage incinerators, organic compounds such as phenol and benzene, and dioxin precursors such as chlorinated aromatic compounds such as chlorophenol and chlorobenzene are generated during combustion. When incinerated fly ash is present, these dioxins precursors become dioxins by the catalytic action and exist in the incinerated fly ash.
[0003]
Conventionally, the following methods have been proposed as a method for treating such dioxin-containing incinerated fly ash.
(1) Method of decomposing dioxins by holding incinerated fly ash containing dioxins in a reducing atmosphere such as nitrogen gas at 320 ° C for 2 hours and at 340 ° C for 1 to 1.5 hours (Hagenmeier process) , Organohalogen Compound, 27, 147-152 (1996), JP-A 64-500320).
[0004]
(2) A method in which dioxin-containing incinerated fly ash is heat-treated at 300 to 500 ° C. in the presence of a dioxin production inhibitor (pyridine) (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. Hei 4-241880).
[0005]
Conventionally, dioxins are not supposed to be thermally decomposed below 300 ° C., and the above method decomposes dioxins by heating to 300 ° C. or higher according to this established theory. In order to suppress the production of dioxins from the dioxin precursor, a dioxin production inhibitor is added to the incineration fly ash in the dioxin decomposition temperature range.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the above conventional methods have the following problems.
(a) Since the processing temperature is high and the processing time is long, much energy is required and the processing cost is high.
[0007]
(b) Dioxins may be re-synthesized during cooling.
(c) Although it is necessary to perform the treatment in a reducing atmosphere such as nitrogen gas, oxygen cannot be completely shut down, so the decomposition rate of dioxins is lowered.
[0008]
(d) Since the dechlorination reaction partially proceeds, more toxic dioxins are produced.
The present inventor has solved the problems of these conventional methods, and can decompose and remove dioxins in a short time even in a low temperature range where it was thought that dioxins could not be decomposed by the conventional methods. A dioxin treatment agent capable of efficiently treating dioxins even in the presence of oxygen was devised and a patent application was filed.

These proposed dioxin treatment agents include the following compounds.

[0022]
These dioxin treatment agents may be supported on a carrier selected from silica, alumina, zeolite, diatomaceous earth, or activated carbon.
By contacting with dioxins using these dioxin treatment agents, dioxins can be decomposed even at temperatures of 300 ° C. or lower, preferably 250 ° C. or lower, more preferably 230 ° C. or lower, and most preferably 200 ° C. or lower. it can. Therefore, after cooling the combustion exhaust gas to a temperature of 300 ° C. or lower, dioxins can be treated by adding these dioxin treatment agents to the exhaust gas. Moreover, it turned out that said dioxin processing agent can decompose | disassemble dioxins also under high temperature, for example about 900 degreeC. Therefore, the dioxins in the exhaust gas can be decomposed by adding the above-mentioned dioxin treatment agent directly to the high-temperature exhaust gas from the incinerator, for example. In this case, the dioxin treatment agent remains in the exhaust gas after treatment, and even if dioxins are re-synthesized when the exhaust gas is subsequently cooled, they are re-synthesized by the remaining dioxin-decomposing agent. Dioxins can be decomposed at a temperature of 300 ° C. or lower.
[0023]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention provides an apparatus for efficiently treating dioxins contained in incinerator exhaust gas containing incineration fly ash using the dioxin treating agent proposed by the present inventor as described above.
[0024]

[0025]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, a specific embodiment of the dioxin treatment apparatus according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a conceptual diagram showing a configuration of a dioxin treatment apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention. The following description relates to a dioxin treatment apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 1, and the present invention is not limited to this.
[0026]
In FIG. 1, 1 is an incinerator, 2 is a gas cooling tower, 3 is a flue from the gas cooling tower to the dust collector, 13 is a flue from the incinerator to the gas cooling tower, 4 is a dust collector, 5 is Dioxin
[0027]
In the apparatus shown in FIG. 1, a dioxin
[0028]
In the apparatus according to the present invention, by contacting the dioxins with the dioxin treatment agent as shown above, the chlorine atom in the dioxins reacts with the compound of the dioxin treatment agent to remove the dioxins. A chlorine reaction or a 6-membered ring (benzene ring) cleavage reaction proceeds rapidly, and dioxins are decomposed.
[0029]
The dioxin treatment agent according to the present invention may be used alone or in combination of two or more. Further, the dioxin treating agent according to the present invention may be in a form supported on a carrier. Examples of the carrier that can be used include silica, alumina, zeolite, diatomaceous earth, and activated carbon. By supporting the dioxin treatment agent according to the present invention on such a carrier, a catalytic effect of the dioxins decomposition by the carrier is also expected, and the dioxins can be decomposed more efficiently.
[0030]
According to the present invention, the chlorine in the dioxins reacts with the dioxin treating agent, so that the dioxins can be dechlorinated or reacted at a temperature lower than 300 ° C., in which the dioxins are not decomposed in the conventional method. The cleavage reaction of the six-membered ring (benzene ring) proceeds rapidly, and the dioxins are decomposed.
[0031]
In the present invention, when dioxins are treated by contacting the dioxins treatment agent with incinerator exhaust gas containing incineration fly ash, the dioxins treatment agent is 10 to 200 ppm, preferably 10 to 100 ppm, based on the amount of exhaust gas. It is preferable to make it contact in the ratio.
[0032]
The incineration fly ash may include powdered activated carbon blown into the incinerator flue as an adsorption and removal agent for dioxins in the incinerator exhaust gas.
In this invention, the form at the time of making a dioxin processing agent contact with incinerator waste gas containing incineration fly ash may be either powder form or gaseous form. However, when the incinerator exhaust gas containing incineration fly ash is brought into contact with the gaseous dioxin treatment agent according to the present invention, the dioxins are most efficiently decomposed, so that the dioxin treatment agent is more than 300 ° C. It is preferable to use one having a sufficiently high vapor pressure at a low temperature.
[0033]
In the present invention, the following method can be employed as a method of bringing the incinerator exhaust gas containing incineration fly ash into contact with the dioxins treating agent.
A. A dioxin treatment agent is blown into the exhaust gas in the flue 3 and / or 13 and / or the dust collector 4 to bring the dioxins in the exhaust gas into contact with the dioxin treatment agent.
[0034]
B. A dioxin treatment agent is heated and gasified to the temperature of the exhaust gas to be treated, and an air stream containing this gas is blown into the flue gas in the flue 3 and / or 13 and / or the dust collector 4, and the dioxin in the exhaust gas is discharged. Contact with
[0035]
C. A vaporized dioxin treatment agent or a gas containing the vaporized product is blown into the flue gas in the flue 3 and / or 13 and / or the dust collector 4, and is brought into contact with the dioxins in the flue gas.
[0036]
D. A dioxin treatment agent carried on a carrier such as powdered activated carbon, silica, alumina, diatomaceous earth, or zeolite is blown into the flue gas in the flue 3 and / or 13 and / or the dust collector 4, and the dioxin in the flue gas Contact with
[0037]
The incinerator exhaust gas containing the incinerator fly ash obtained by decomposing dioxins as described above is collected by the dust collector 4 and the incinerator fly ash is separated. Since the exhaust gas entering the dust collector 4 is cooled to 300 ° C. or lower in the
[0038]
Next, the incinerated fly ash separated in the dust collector 4 is sent to the
[0039]
On the other hand, the exhaust gas from which incinerated fly ash has been separated and removed in the dust collector 4 is discharged out of the system through an IDF (Induced Draft Fan) 10 and a chimney 11.
The dioxins treatment agent shown above can efficiently decompose dioxins even when they are brought into contact with dioxins in a reducing atmosphere or in the presence of oxygen, that is, in the air or exhaust gas. it can. Therefore, the dioxin treatment apparatus according to the present invention does not require equipment or work for adjusting the atmosphere in which the dioxin treatment agent and the dioxins are brought into contact with each other.
[0040]
【The invention's effect】
According to the dioxin treatment apparatus according to the present invention, the exhaust gas containing dioxins discharged from the incinerator is decomposed very efficiently using the low-temperature-active dioxin treatment agent previously proposed by the present inventor. be able to. Since the dioxin treatment apparatus according to the present invention can perform decomposition and removal of dioxins in the air or exhaust gas without changing the treatment atmosphere of the dioxins to a reducing atmosphere, the treatment equipment is simple, It can be easily implemented.

[0110]
From the data in Table 7, the concentration of dioxins in the exhaust gas immediately after the dust collector and the incineration fly ash in the ash storage tank in the examples is significantly smaller than the concentration before the dioxin treatment agent is blown, and the dioxins are extremely low. It turns out that it was decomposed | disassembled efficiently. Moreover, it is understood that the dioxins in the incineration fly ash were further decomposed by further keeping the incineration fly ash warm. In contrast, in Comparative Example 7 in which the dioxin treatment agent was not supplied, it was found that the dioxins were not decomposed and dioxins remained in the incineration fly ash and in the exhaust gas.
