Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a tire wheel structure of an automobile in which a joint portion between a rim and a disk of a tire wheel is improved.
[0002]
[Prior art]
An automobile tire wheel is generally composed of a rim for mounting and holding a tire and a disc fitted to the rim. Such a tire wheel is demonstrated based on FIG.4 and FIG.5. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a steel tire wheel, and reference numeral 2 denotes a rim of the tire wheel 1. A cylindrical fitting portion 3a formed at the peripheral edge of the disk 3 is inserted into the inner peripheral wall of the diameter expansion receiving portion 2a of the rim 2 and fixed by arc welding or the like (see the welded portion W0). At this time, a recessed portion 4 is formed in a portion of a joint portion between the inner peripheral wall of the diameter-enlarged receiving portion 2 a of the rim 2 and the outer peripheral wall of the cylindrical fitting portion 3 a of the disk 3.
[0003]
As shown in FIG. 4, five decorative holes 5 for improving the design of the disk 3 are opened on the surface of the disk 3. In addition, rainwater, mud, or the like may enter the inside of the disk 3 from the decoration hole 5, and this rainwater or mud may accumulate in the inside of the disk 3, that is, in the recessed portion 4 of the joint between the rim 2 and the disk 3. A water drain hole 6 is formed at the joint between the rim 2 and the disk 3 for discharging the moisture and the like. The drain holes 6 are constituted by the rim 2 and the disk 3 and are provided at five places in the connecting portion. 4 and 5, what is indicated by reference numeral 7 is, for example, a drive shaft mounting hole.
[0004]
As an automobile disc wheel, there is one disclosed in JP-A-8-150803. What is disclosed in this publication is that the rising portion of the disc is welded and assembled to the drop center portion of the inner peripheral portion of the rim, and a plurality of holes are formed in the circumferential direction in the intermediate portion of the rising portion. And the inner peripheral part of the rim are welded (based on the description of the second page, line 20 to line 26 of the gazette specification).
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the conventional technology described above, a decorative hole for design (appearance) is formed on the surface of the disk of the tire wheel, so that snow infiltrates from the decorative hole during parking in a snowy area, and this snow becomes a rim and a disk. In the cold region, snow, rainwater, and mud may enter the dent, and it may freeze inside.
[0006]
Furthermore, in off-road driving, water, mud, and the like are similarly accumulated in the dents, and there is a possibility that a problem occurs in an unpainted portion inside the tire wheel. However, the decorative hole formed in the disc has a design restriction, and it has been difficult to make the shape such that snow, water, mud, etc. do not enter.
[0007]
In addition, the disk wheel for automobiles disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-150803 is formed by welding the rising part of the disk to the drop center part of the inner peripheral part of the rim so that the coupling part cannot be formed. If a decorative hole on the design is formed, there is a risk that rain or snow may accumulate on the back side of the rising portion of the disk.
[0008]
The present invention provides an automobile tire wheel structure in which the joint between the rim and the disk of the tire wheel is improved so that snow and mud that have entered through the decorative hole do not collect in the recess of the joint between the rim and the disk. The purpose is to do.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to a first aspect of the present invention, in an automobile tire wheel structure in which a disc is fitted and fixed to a rim of a tire wheel, an end portion of a cylindrical fitting portion formed on a peripheral portion of the disc is set in an axial direction of the rim. The end portion is reversed so as to be in contact with the back surface of the disc, and is formed in a folded portion, and the folded portion and the cylindrical fitting portion are fixed to the rim. It is a feature.
[0010]
The end of the cylindrical fitting portion of the disc that is fitted and fixed to the rim of the tire wheel is extended substantially along the axial direction of the rim, and this end is brought into contact with the back surface of the disc. It is inverted and formed in a folded portion, and the folded portion closes the recess of the coupling portion between the rim and the cylindrical fitting portion of the disk. In this case, the surface of the rim and the surface of the folded portion may be substantially the same surface. In addition, the folded portion and the cylindrical fitting portion of the disk formed in this manner are attached to the rim by welding or the like, so that the rim and the disk are firmly fixed.
[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an example of an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 with the same reference numerals given to the same members as those in FIGS. 4 and 5. Reference numeral 10 denotes a tire wheel for an automobile of the present invention. An outer peripheral wall of a cylindrical fitting portion 11 a formed on the peripheral edge of the disk 11 is fitted and fixed to the inner peripheral wall of the diameter-enlarged receiving portion 2 a of the rim 2 of the tire wheel 10.
[0012]
The end of the cylindrical fitting portion 11 a of the disk 11 is substantially along the axial direction of the rim 2, that is, along the width direction of the inner peripheral wall of the diameter-enlarged receiving portion 2 a of the rim 2 and contacts the inner peripheral wall of the rim 2. It is so extended. Further, the end of the cylindrical fitting portion 11 a is formed in a folded portion 12 that is reversed and abuts against the back surface of the disk 11.
[0013]
Conventionally, the folded portion 12 can block substantially the entire circumference of the recessed portion 4 at the joint between the inner peripheral wall of the enlarged diameter receiving portion 2 a of the rim 2 and the outer peripheral wall of the cylindrical fitting portion 11 a of the disk 11. it can. Therefore, snow, rainwater, mud or the like does not accumulate inside the disk 11 as in the prior art, and there is no need to form the drain hole 6. Moreover, the inner peripheral wall of the diameter expansion receiving portion 2a of the rim 2 and the outer peripheral wall of the cylindrical fitting portion 11a of the disk 11 are fixed by welding (see the welded portion W1).
[0014]
Further, the inner peripheral wall of the rim 2 and the outer peripheral wall of the folded portion 12 of the disk 11 are also fixed by welding (see the welded portion W2). The welding point between the rim 2 and the disk 11 is the same as the welding point between the conventional rim 2 and the disk 3 (see the welded portion W0 in FIGS. 4 and 5). When welding, the surface of the cylindrical fitting portion 11a formed on the peripheral edge of the disk 11 is a flat surface or a curved surface, and forms a smooth, substantially flush surface with the surface of the rim 2, so that the conventional recess 4 is formed. Is virtually eliminated.
[0015]
Further, as described above, since the drainage hole 6 is not necessary, the strength of the tire wheel 10 can be appropriately improved by welding the place where the drainage hole 6 has conventionally been provided. Therefore, there is an effect that the number of welding points can be easily increased as necessary. In FIG. 1, what is shown by the code | symbol 13 is the welding location of the site | part of the conventional drain hole 6 performed as needed.
[0016]
Since it comprised as mentioned above, the edge part of the cylindrical fitting part 11a formed in the peripheral part of the disk 11 fitted and fixed to the inner peripheral wall of the diameter receiving part 2a of the rim 2 of the tire wheel 10 is set to the rim 2. And extending in the width direction of the enlarged diameter receiving portion 2 a of the rim 2, and inverted so that the end of the cylindrical fitting portion 11 a contacts the back surface of the disk 11. Thus, the folded portion 12 is formed on the disk 11.
[0017]
In this folded-back portion 12, a conventionally provided recess of a joint portion between the inner peripheral wall of the enlarged diameter receiving portion 2 a of the rim 2 and the outer peripheral wall of the cylindrical fitting portion 11 a formed on the peripheral edge portion of the disk 11. The part 4 (see FIG. 5) is closed. If the surface formed by the peripheral edge of the disk 11, that is, the surface of the inner peripheral wall of the cylindrical fitting portion 11 a formed at the peripheral edge of the disk 11 is formed to be the same as the surface of the inner peripheral wall of the rim 2. Thus, the conventional recess 4 can be eliminated.
[0018]
Further, the outer peripheral wall of the cylindrical fitting portion 11 a and the inner peripheral wall of the diameter-enlarged receiving portion 2 a of the rim 2 are brought into contact with each other, and the outer peripheral wall of the turned-up portion 12 of the disk 11 that is reversed and If the peripheral walls are brought into contact with each other and are attached by welding or the like, the rim 2 and the disk 11 can be firmly fixed.
[0019]
Based on FIG. 3, the same reference numerals are given to the same members as those in FIGS. 1 and 2 for reference to the embodiment having the same effect as the tire wheel structure of the automobile according to the embodiment of the present invention described above . explain. In the present embodiment, the recessed portion 4 in the connecting portion between the inner peripheral wall of the enlarged diameter receiving portion 2 a of the rim 2 of the tire wheel 14 and the outer peripheral wall of the cylindrical fitting portion 3 a formed at the peripheral portion of the disk 3 is used. A ring-shaped flexible member, for example, a rubber member 15 is attached.
[0020]
If the rubber member 15 is attached to the recess 4 in this manner, the recess 4 can be eliminated because the recess 4 is embedded by the rubber member 15. Thus, even if snow, water, mud or the like enters the inside of the disk 11, it does not accumulate. The flexible member may be not only the rubber member 15 but also a flexible synthetic resin (plastic) such as polyurethane elastomer or vinyl chloride resin. The surface formed by the flexible member is substantially the same as the surface of the rim 2.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the end of the cylindrical fitting portion at the peripheral edge of the disk fitted and fixed to the rim of the tire wheel extends substantially along the axial direction of the rim, and the cylindrical fitting Since the folded portion was formed by reversing the end of the portion so as to contact the back surface of the disc, the folded portion closes the dent portion at the coupling portion between the rim and the cylindrical fitting portion of the disc. Can do. As a result, it is possible to avoid the occurrence of problems in the tire wheel because snow, water, mud, etc. do not accumulate inside the disk. Further, since the folded portion and the cylindrical fitting portion of the disk are attached to the rim by welding or the like, the rim and the disk can be firmly fixed.
