この発明は炊飯ジャーなどの電気機器における信号線のシール構造に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
炊飯ジャーなどの電気機器において、制御基板や表示基板の収納部等、水の侵入を避ける必要のある部分(要防水部)と、その必要のない部分との間の隔壁に挿通穴を設け、その挿通穴を通して信号線が配線される場合、その挿通穴の回りに水の侵入を防止するためのシール手段が施される。信号線は単線、フラットケーブル等各種あるが、いずれの場合も簡単なシール構造として、上記の挿通穴の周りに両面接着テープを貼ったパネルを接着する構造が採られる。この構造によると挿通穴の周りと、信号線のパネル側の面が両面接着テープによりシールされる。

更に、両面接着テープが接着されない面、即ち上記の信号線の下面をシールするために、前記の隔壁に信号線の両側に渡る長さをもったシール凹所を設け、そのシール凹所に合成ゴムを充填すると共に、上記パネルの下面に上記シール凹所の範囲内に収まる押さえリブを設け、上記合成ゴム上に配線した信号線をその押さえリブにより押し付けてシールする構造が採られる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記の合成ゴムとしては、通常シリコーンシーラントが用いられるが、製品の製造時において、シール凹所に充填した合成ゴムが硬化するまでにおよそ24時間の時間が必要になり、その間次の工程に移れない不便がある。また硬化されるまではべとつくため、シール凹所に充填する際に必要個所以外の部分にも付着する恐れがあり、作業上支障を来すことが多い。

そこで、この発明はこのような問題点を解消して、充填後に時間をおくことなく次の作業を行うことができ、またべとつくことが無いようにした信号線のシール構造を提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の課題を解決するために、この発明は、器体の壁面に接して信号線を配線し、上記壁面に両面接着シートを貼ったパネルを接着することにより上記信号線のパネル側の面を該両面接着テープによりシールし、上記壁面に上記信号線の両側に渡る長さをもったシール凹所を設け、該シール凹所に合成ゴムを充填すると共に、上記パネルの下面に上記シール凹所の範囲内に収まる押さえリブを設け、上記合成ゴム上に配線した上記信号線を上記押さえリブにより押し付け、その押し付け部分において上記信号線の上記壁面側の面をシールするようにした信号線のシール構造において、上記の合成ゴムとして未硬化合成ゴムを用いる構成としたものである。

上記の押さえリブの押し付けにより、両面接着テープを介して信号線が集中荷重を受けて屈曲され、その変形に従って未硬化合成ゴムが塑性変形してシールを行う。

なお、上記器体の壁面に信号線の挿通穴が設けられ、その挿通穴から壁面上に沿って要防水部に至る間に配線される信号線に、上記両面接着テープと、その反対側の面における上記未硬化合成ゴムとによるシールを施した構成を採ることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、この発明の実施形態を添付図面に基づいて説明する。図1から図4に示した実施形態は、炊飯ジャーの蓋におけるシール構造に関する。図示の炊飯ジャーは、ジャー本体1に蓋セット2がヒンジ3(図2参照)により開閉自在に取付けられ、その蓋セット2の蓋板4に浅い凹所による液晶取付け部5が設けられる。この液晶取付け部5は要防水部である。

図2、図3に示すように、液晶取付け部5の周りにパネル受け部6が設けられ、その液晶取付け部5に液晶表示セット7が取付けられる。上記のパネル受け部6にスリット状の挿通穴8と、数カ所の位置決め凹部9が設けられる。

液晶表示セット7には信号線としてのフラットケーブル11が接続され、そのフラットケーブル11が前記挿通穴8を経て蓋セット2の内部に引き込まれ、更に図示省略の経路を経てジャー本体1内の制御装置に接続される。また、上記の挿通穴8と液晶取付け部5の間のパネル受け部6の面にフラットケーブル11の幅より大きく、その両側に渡る長さのシール凹所12が設けられる。そのシール凹所12に未硬化合成ゴム13が充填される(図4参照)。

上記の液晶取付け部5をカバーするパネル14がパネル受け部6に嵌着される。パネル14は前記の液晶表示セット7に対応した部分が透明に形成される。またその裏面に前記の位置決め凹所9に嵌合する位置決め突起15が設けられ、また前記のシール凹所12に対向し、その範囲内に収まる押さえリブ16が設けられる。更に、液晶表示セット7を取り囲む範囲においてパネル14の裏面に、両面接着テープ17が接着される。位置決め突起15の部分は除かれるが、押さえリブ16の部分は該両面接着テープ17により覆われる。

上記のように両面接着テープ17を予め接着したパネル14を前記のパネル受け部6に重ねると、位置決め突起15が位置決め凹部9に嵌合されパネル14の位置決めが行われると共に、パネル受け部6上に接着される。また、フラットケーブル11の部分においては、図4に示すようにその上面に接着され、これと同時に押さえリブ16がフラットケーブル11の全幅を超える範囲を押さえ込む。

図4(b)は、挿通穴8とシール凹所12の部分におけるフラットケーブル11の配線状態を示す。この図においてハッチングで示す部分Aは両面接着テープ17で接着されシールされた部分であり、ハッチングの無い部分Bはフラットケーブル11の下面の部分であり、両面接着テープ17が接着されない部分、従ってシールされない部分であるが、この部分Bにおいては押さえリブ16によりフラットケーブル11が未硬化合成ゴム13の内部に押し付けられ、該フラットケーブル11が集中荷重を受けて屈曲しシールされる。

上記の未硬化合成ゴム13としては、未硬化のシリコーンゴムなど弾力性が無く、専ら塑性変形する性質を有するものが用いられ、押さえリブ16により集中的に押されることにより塑性変形してフラットケーブル11の下面のシールを行う。

なお、以上は信号線としてフラットケーブル11を用いる場合について説明したが、単線その他の信号線の場合であっても同じである。また、必ずしも挿通穴8の周りにおけるシールに限らず、壁面に重ねたパネルの間に信号線が配線される場合において、両面接着テープを用いてシールする際に適用することができる。

【発明の効果】
以上のように、この発明は壁面に沿って配線された信号線とその両側の部分に、両面接着テープを貼ったパネルを接着して信号線の片面側をシールすると共に、信号線の他面側を合成ゴムを充填した凹所上に配線し、上記パネルの裏面に設けた押さえリブにより押さえることによりシールするようにした信号線のシール構造において、上記合成ゴムとして未硬化合成ゴムを使用するようにしたことにより、製造過程において硬化反応のための時間を待つことなく次工程に移ることができる。また、べとつくこともないので取り扱い易い利点がある。
