Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for laying a connection portion of a submarine cable to the sea or a river, and more particularly to a submarine cable capable of performing a laying operation in a stable state without damaging the cable in the vicinity of the connection portion. It is related with the laying method of the connection part.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a submarine cable line with a built-in power line, optical line, etc., when laying it on the bottom of the water, or lifting the laid cable for repair, and when laying the pulled cable again on the bottom of the water, The bent state of the cable near the connection is important.
[0003]
FIG. 2 shows the laying state of the connection part of the submarine cable. The connection part 4 drawn out from the winding body 3 of the cable 2 loaded on the laying ship 1 and the cables 2a and 2b in the vicinity thereof are shown in FIG. The cable 2c, which is suspended by a crane (not shown) and linked to one cable 2a, is submerged in the water 12 and then sunk and laid at a predetermined position on the bottom of the water.
[0004]
Reference numeral 7 denotes a hanger, and at its lower part, the connecting part 4 and the cables 2a and 2b in the vicinity thereof are attached by lashing of the rope 13, while the hanger 7 has a crane hanger at both ends. A wire 5 suspended from 6 is attached.
[0005]
The hanger 7 is balanced in the state shown in the figure, and while maintaining this state, the cable 2c is submerged and then submerged in water. Thereafter, the rope 13 is unbound in the water, whereby the connecting portion 4 and cables 2a and 2b in the vicinity thereof are laid at predetermined positions.
[0006]
The above-described configuration is made strong and large in diameter for internal protection, and is therefore employed in order not to give excessive bending force to the cables 2a and 2b in the vicinity of the rigid connecting portion 4. As a result, the submarine cable line is laid in a good condition.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, according to the conventional method for laying the connection portion of the bottom cable, the weight of the cable 2c that sinks into the water increases as the laying depth increases, and accordingly, the securing points a and b of the rope 13 are increased. The force applied to... May be excessively damaged, particularly on the cable 2a side.
[0008]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a method for laying a connecting portion of a submarine cable that can perform a laying operation in a stable state without damaging the cable.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above-described object, the present invention provides a submarine cable that suspends the connection portion of the submarine cable and the cable in the vicinity thereof and sinks the cable in the vicinity by suspending the cable in the predetermined position. In the laying method of the connecting part, the step of placing the cable of the connecting part and the vicinity thereof on the receiving member and suspending the receiving member and submerging in the water in the axial direction of the connecting part of the receiving member The connecting part and its vicinity are obtained by hanging the part as appropriate and by hanging the hanging point on the end side of the receiving member located on the side of the cable that has been submerged in the water vertically. The cable is laid at a predetermined position, and a method for laying the connecting portion of the submarine cable is provided.
[0011]
In doing so, even if a large force is applied from the side of the cable that is first submerged in the water, the force can be received by a suspended portion such as a crane. Therefore, in the conventional laying operation of FIG. Thus, it is possible to prevent the suspension balance from being collapsed due to the increased load from the subsidence cable side and the inability to perform the laying work.
[0012]
In addition, the receiving member preferably has an R portion formed on the upper surface of the end portion. When such a receiving member is used, the cable in the vicinity of the connecting portion is easily stretched along the R portion. Therefore, when a force is applied to this portion from the side of the cable that is submerged in water, local bending of the cable that exceeds the allowable radius of curvature can be prevented.
[0013]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, an embodiment of a method for laying a submarine cable connecting portion according to the present invention will be described. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a laying ship on which a cable winding body 2 is loaded, 3 denotes a cable drawn from the winding body 2, and 4 denotes a connection portion formed on the cable 3.
[0014]
Reference numeral 5 denotes a wire attached to a hanging part 6 of the crane, 7 denotes a hanging tool suspended from the wire 5, and 8 denotes a receiving member attached to the hanging tool 7 by a plurality of wires 9. The connector 4 and the cables 2a and 2b in the vicinity thereof are placed.
[0015]
Further, R portions 10 are formed on the upper surfaces of both ends of the receiving member 8, and the side of the cable 2 a is bent along the R portion 10 and linked to the cable 2 c that is first submerged in water. Reference numerals 11a to 11d denote hanging points of the wire 9 provided at appropriate positions of the receiving member 8 in the axial direction of the connecting portion 4. Among these, the hanging point 11a located at the end portion on the cable 2c side is a hanging point of the crane. It is suspended vertically from the lower part 6.
[0016]
Under the above configuration, the connecting portion 4 and the cables 2a and 2b in the vicinity thereof are submerged in the water 12 while being placed on the receiving member 8, and then removed from the receiving member 8 in water. It is laid at a predetermined position.
[0017]
According to the laying operation according to the present embodiment performed as described above, since the connecting portion 4 and the cables 2a and 2b in the vicinity thereof are placed on the receiving member 8 and submerged in water, the laying depth is large. Even if an excessive force from the cable 2c side due to the above acts, there is no possibility of damaging the cables 2a and 2b as in the conventional method.
[0018]
In addition, since the suspension point 11a at the end of the receiving member 8 on the cable 2c side is suspended vertically, even if a deeper laying depth is applied and a greater force is applied than on the cable 2c side, the force is applied to the lower part of the crane. Therefore, the balance of the configuration shown in the figure is not lost, so that the work can be performed in a stable state at all times.
[0019]
Further, in this embodiment, since the R portion 10 is formed on the upper surface of the end portion of the receiving member 8, the cable 2a is bent without difficulty along the R portion 10, and accordingly, the cable 2c. Even if a strong force is applied to this portion from the side, the cable is not locally bent, and damage to the cable due to bending beyond the allowable radius of curvature can be prevented.
[0020]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the method for laying a connecting portion of a submarine cable according to the present invention, by placing the connecting portion and the cable in the vicinity thereof on the receiving member, suspending the receiving member and submerging it in water. Since laying work is performed, the work can be performed in a stable state without damaging the cable, and a plurality of hanging points are provided at appropriate positions in the axial direction of the connecting portion of the receiving member and suspended. Suspension caused by an increase in load from the sinking cable side, since the laying work is performed with the suspension point on the end side of the receiving member located on the side of the cable being submerged in the water suspended vertically and the collapse of balance, Ru can prevent execution inability occurrence laying work by it.
