本発明は、建物内において所望の位置を仕切ることができる仕切り装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、特開2000−145171号公報や特開2001−173133号公報に見られるように、居住者のライフスタイルや好みに応じて間取りを変更することができる仕切り装置が提案されている。

この種の仕切り装置は、室内に立設された支軸に、板状の仕切体の一側端縁が回動自在に支持されてなる。これにより、支軸回りに仕切体を回転させて所望の居住領域を仕切ることにより、間取りレイアウトを住人の使い易いように変更することが可能となる。

しかし、仕切体を回転させるときには、支軸から仕切体の他側端縁までの距離を回転半径とする空間が必要となる。このため、室内の形状に伴って壁から内方に向かう張り出し等があると、仕切体の回転が妨げられて間取りの変更が円滑に行なえず、使い勝手が悪い不都合がある。また、例えば、建物の骨組みになる柱を支軸として併用した場合には、支軸の位置を移動させることができず、支軸の位置によって間取りの自由度が制限される不都合がある。

かかる目的を達成するために、本発明は、建物内に設置して室内空間を仕切る仕切り装置であって、該室内の天井と床とに設けられた支軸と、該支軸に、回転自在且つ該支軸の軸線に対して直交する方向に移動自在に支持された仕切体とを備えるものにおいて、前記仕切体は、矩形状の本体と、該本体の側面に設けられて該本体の長さ方向に移動自在のパネル部材とを備えると共に、前記支軸に着脱自在に支持されており、前記支軸は、棒状に形成されて前記室内の天井から床にわたって延設され、前記仕切体は、該支軸が高さ方向に貫通する貫通孔を介して該支軸に支持されていることを特徴とする。
