Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an ink container that is detachably accommodated in a casing of an ink jet recording apparatus and supplies ink to a recording head, and more particularly to an ink bag in which ink is accommodated in a flexible bag.
[0002]
[Prior art]
An ink jet recording apparatus is a recording apparatus that performs a large amount of printing because a recording head that receives ink supplied from an ink supply source reciprocates in the paper width direction of the recording paper. And a method of supplying ink to the recording head via a tube.
[0003]
By the way, since the ink jet recording apparatus pressurizes the ink in the pressure generating chamber to generate ink droplets, if the ink contains bubbles, the pressure decreases and the ink droplet ejection performance also decreases. Requires ink that excludes air.
For this reason, the bag containing the ink is overlapped with a laminated film of a polymer film in which a metal layer such as aluminum is interposed in the intermediate layer so as to have a gas barrier property and to enhance it, except for one short side. An ink supply bag is used in which the sides are joined by heat welding or the like, and the remaining short side is sealed by an ink supply port forming member made of a plastic molded product.
An ink amount of about 500 cc is housed in a hard case made of a polymer material and configured in an ink cartridge in order to prevent damage due to external force or the like.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in a large-sized ink jet recording apparatus that prints color posters and the like, the ink capacity is greatly increased, and it is worn by a user accustomed to handling, so it can be easily packaged without being housed in a hard case. Costs are reduced through distribution.
However, there is a problem that the impact due to the oscillation of the ink in the distribution process increases as the capacity increases, and excessive pressure acts on the heat-welded portion of the polymer layer to cause peeling.
The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide an ink bag packaging material capable of preventing damage in the distribution process as much as possible.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
That is, in order to achieve such a problem, in the present invention, a rectangular heat-weldable first film forming a side surface is formed on each long side of the first heat-bondable rectangular film forming a flat surface. The long side of the film 2 is thermally welded to form a cylindrical body, and one short side of the flat part is heat welded to form a bag, and the ink supply port is heated to the other short side of the flat part. In a packaging material for a welded ink bag, an end interior material having a trapezoidal cross section that sandwiches the end region on the short side of the ink bag from both sides, and a rectangular parallelepiped that is in contact with the side surface on the long side of the ink bag It was made to comprise from the side-shaped interior material and the container body which accommodates these.
[0006]
[Action]
The side surface portion of the ink bag is regulated by the side surface interior material, and the shoulder portion of the ink bag is supported and sandwiched by the end surface interior material, and is accommodated in the container body. Damage is prevented.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Therefore, details of the present invention will be described below based on examples.
FIGS. 1 (a), (b) and FIGS. 2 (a), 2 (b) show examples of ink bags, respectively, of the rectangular first film forming the surface portions 1 and 2. FIG. The long side portions 3a, 3b, 4a and 4b of the second film forming the side surface portions 3 and 4 are thermally welded to the long side portions 1a, 1b, 2a and 2b to form a cylindrical body, and one short side The parts 1c and 2c are thermally welded to form a bag body, and the ink supply port 5 is thermally welded to the other short side parts 1d and 2d. Then, as shown in FIG. The joining parts 6 to 9 are formed in a band shape obliquely by heat welding so as to reach the other side adjacent from one side so as to include the folding line C of the parts 3 and 4.
[0008]
As shown in FIG. 3 (a), the first film constituting the surface portions 1 and 2 has a polyethylene layer 10 having a thickness of about 100 μm, a polyester layer 11 having a thickness of about 25 μm, and an air shielding property having a thickness of about 15 μm. A metal layer excellent in flexibility, for example, an aluminum layer 12 and a polyester layer 13 as a protective layer having a thickness of about 38 μm are laminated.
[0009]
Further, as shown in FIG. 3B, the second film is composed of a polyethylene layer 15 having a thickness of about 60 μm, a metal layer having a thickness of about 9 μm and excellent air-tightness and flexibility, such as an aluminum layer 16, and a thickness. For example, a nylon layer 17 having a flexibility to form a protective layer of about 15 μm to 25 μm is laminated.
[0010]
In these films, the polyethylene layer 10 of the first film constituting the surface parts 1 and 2 and the polyethylene layer 15 of the second film constituting the side parts 3 and 4 are previously centered on the side parts 3 and 4. Only the peripheral edge portion is heat-welded while facing each other in a state of being bent and brazed at C. Needless to say, since polyethylene is excellent in heat weldability, a bag body having sufficient adhesive strength and airtightness can be easily constructed.
[0011]
When the ink bag 19 configured in this way is filled with degassed ink from the ink supply port 5 and then the ink injection port is sealed with a septum, the ink bag has the joints 6 to 9 at the four corners and the short side portion. Unnecessary overhang is suppressed by 1a (2a), and it expands in a rectangular parallelepiped shape as shown in FIG.
[0012]
When the ink supply needle of the recording apparatus is inserted into the ink supply port 5 and communicates with the recording head, the ink bag 19 discharges ink to the recording head via the ink supply tube. As the consumption of ink in the recording head proceeds, the side portions 3 and 4 having relatively low rigidity pass through the center line C and the flat portions 1 and 2 from the joint portions 6 to 9 at the four corners. The thickness is reduced while the center line C is moved inward by tension, and the thickness is reduced according to the amount of ink, and the ink inside is reliably discharged.
[0013]
FIG. 4 shows an embodiment of the ink bag packaging material described above, which comprises a box-shaped container body 20 having a depth L1 shallower than the thickness D of the ink bag 19 and a box-shaped upper lid 21. In the exterior material, end interior materials 22, 23, 24, 25 having a trapezoidal cross-section having a slope substantially coinciding with the slope of the end of the long side of the ink bag 19, and recesses on both sides of the ink bag 19 It is comprised from the side surface interior materials 26 and 27 inserted.
When the end portion 19h on the short side of the ink bag is sandwiched from both the upper and lower sides, the end interior materials 22 to 25 have a total height of each of the end interior materials 22 and 24 and the end interior materials 23 and 25. The thickness L2 is set so as to be larger than the depth L1 of the container body 20 and smaller than the maximum thickness D of the ink bag.
[0014]
In this embodiment, the end interior materials 22 to 25 are made of a polymer foam, and are formed in a trapezoidal shape in which one end side is vertical and the other end side is a slope, and the slope is a shoulder portion 19 a of the ink bag 19. It is molded and configured to substantially match 19d.
Further, in this embodiment, the side surface interior materials 26 and 27 are formed by forming a foam material of a polymer material into a rectangular parallelepiped shape, and when loaded into the ink bag 19, the surface slightly protrudes outside the ink bag 19. It is considered to be about the thickness.
[0015]
In this embodiment, the end interior materials 22 and 23 are placed on both ends of the bottom of the container body 20 so that the slopes become the surfaces, and are brought into contact with the side surfaces 3 and 4 of the ink bag 19 on the end interior materials 22 and 23. The side interior materials 26 and 27 are inserted and placed.
In this state, the end interior materials 24 and 25 are placed on both ends so that the slope faces downward, and the upper lid 21 is set.
[0016]
Accordingly, as shown in FIGS. 5A and 5B, the side surface portions 3 and 4 of the ink bag 19 are restricted by the side surface interior materials 26 and 27, and the welded portion 19g is the upper surface of the side surface interior materials 26 and 27. Or it is located inside the lower surface, and further, the shoulder portions 19a to 19d of the ink bag 19 are supported by the end interior materials 22 to 25, and the welded portion 19h is held between the container body 20 and the lid body 21. Is done.
[0017]
In this state, the container body 20 and the upper lid 21 are fixed with adhesive tapes 28 and 29 as shown in FIG. 6 (a), and sealed in the ink leakage prevention bag 30 as shown in FIG. 6 (b).
[0018]
In addition, as shown in FIG. 7, when the adhesive tape 31 is wound and fixed at the center of the long side of the container main body 20 and the upper lid 21, the container and the upper lid can be prevented from bulging due to the tension of the tape.
[0019]
By the way, when the depth L1 of the container body 20 is shallower than the thickness D of the ink bag 19, and preferably set to L1 ≦ (0.7 to 1.0) D, the upper lid 21 and the container body 20 are the front and back of the ink bag 19. The ink bag 19 is brought into close contact with both surfaces, so that it is possible to prevent the ink bag 19 from being twisted due to an impact or the like, and the ink bag 19 from being shaken during vibration.
In addition, since the total height l2 of each of the end interior materials 22 and 24 and the end interior materials 23 and 25 is larger than the depth L1 of the container body 20, the end interior materials 22 to 25 are more reliably used. The welded portion 19h on the short side of the ink bag 19 is sandwiched, and the inclined surfaces of the end interior materials 22-25 abut against the shoulder portions 19a-19d of the ink bag 19 so that the shape of the ink bag 19 is maintained. Hold it.
Further, since the total height L2 of the end interior materials 22 and 24 and the end interior materials 23 and 25 is smaller than the maximum thickness D of the ink bag 19, the container body 20 and the upper lid 21 are both ink. The ink bag 19 is in close contact with the surface of the bag 19, and the twisting and swinging of the ink bag 19 due to impact and vibration are reliably prevented.
[0020]
In the above-described embodiment, the interior materials 22 to 27 are made of a foam material. However, as shown in FIGS. Even if it is formed by bending, or a polymer is formed by injection molding into a cylindrical shape, the same effect is obtained.
[0021]
FIGS. 9 (a) and 9 (b) show another embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, a corrugated board or a plate suitable for packaging such as a polymer is box-shaped when assembled. The top plate 40, the base plate 41, the side plates 42, 43, 44, and 45 are cut so that the end interior materials 24, 25, and 22, on the long side end portions of the top plate 40 and the base plate 41, 23 is fixed at a predetermined position, that is, a position where the end portion of the ink bag 19 can be clamped with an adhesive or the like.
[0022]
Side surface interior materials 26 and 27 are loaded on both sides of the ink bag 19 and placed on the base plate 41, and the top plate 40 and the open side plate 43 on the short side are folded as shown in FIG. The joint between the top plate 40 and the side plate 43 is fixed with the adhesive tape 46, and then the side plates 44 and 45 on the long side are folded, and the side plates 44 and 45 and the top plate 40 are temporarily fixed with the adhesive tape as necessary. Then, it is sealed in the ink leakage prevention bag 30 as shown in FIG.
[0023]
In particular, when the ink leakage bag 30 is preferably configured as a vacuum pack, atmospheric pressure acts uniformly on the outer periphery of the top plate 40, the base plate 41, and the side plates 42 to 45, and from the inner surface, the end interior material 22 to By 25, a drag acts and the box shape can be maintained.
[0024]
