この内の実体情報は、伴奏音楽の情報であるMIDI(Musical Instrument Digital Interface)規格の演奏情報や歌詞情報からなっている。

[Industrial application fields]
The present invention comprises a video karaoke device having a function of displaying a background video on a display means when playing a designated karaoke song, and an information center capable of transmitting the background video to the video karaoke device. It relates to a communication karaoke system.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a conventional karaoke system, a set of karaoke song information and background moving image information of the song is stored in a karaoke apparatus, such as an optical disc, and the karaoke song information and background moving image information are used. There was a type that performed as a so-called video karaoke. In this case, background moving image information and karaoke song information (such as performance information and lyrics information) are stored for each song, but since the background moving image has a large amount of information, a very large number of optical disks are prepared. Therefore, the area occupied by the dedicated storage case for storing many disks and the autochanger becomes large.
[0003]
In order to solve this problem, it has been realized that only background video information is stored separately from the karaoke song information and displayed as a background video when the song is played. This background video is not unique to each song. For example, a video storage disk storing background video information classified by genre such as for enka or pop is used, and this background video is stored in a plurality of background videos. It is intended to achieve compactness by using it for songs.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, karaoke users still have a demand for singing karaoke while displaying a background image that is set for each song, such as the song content. Therefore, for example, specific background video information that is uniquely set for a predetermined karaoke song is stored, and common background video information that is set to be commonly used by a plurality of karaoke songs is also stored. When performing the specified karaoke song, if there is unique background video information corresponding to the karaoke song, it is read and displayed, otherwise the common background video information is read and displayed. It is possible to make it.
[0005]
Of course, in this case, the karaoke song for storing the unique background video information needs to be selected from the karaoke songs, not all the stored karaoke songs. For example, when a method of automatically transmitting each time a new song is released and increasing the number of songs is adopted, the unique background video information is also transmitted for the new song and used as a unique video storage means. For example, it may be stored in a hard disk. In the case of a new song, the number of requests will be high in the future, and the request to sing karaoke while displaying the background video set for the song is considered to be relatively strong compared to the old song. It is.
[0006]
However, even if, for example, only the unique background video information for the new karaoke song is stored, if the unique background video information is sequentially stored every time a new song is released, it will eventually be stored in the unique video storage means. The capacity limit is reached, and the unique background video information for the subsequent new song cannot be stored.
Considering such a situation, preparing a large-capacity unique video storage means detracts from the basic effect of downsizing the storage means, and is a fall. Therefore, it is necessary to limit the unique background video information that can be stored in the unique video storage means.
[0007]
However, if the new storage is not performed after the storage capacity limit is reached, the unique background video information with a relatively low necessity is stored due to the fact that the unique background video information with a low necessity is stored. It is also conceivable that background video information cannot be stored. In this way, for example, when it is desired to add and store unique background video information for a newer karaoke song, for example, due to the presence of unique background video information that is relatively less necessary, the unique background video information of the new song The problem arises that it becomes impossible to add.
[0008]
Accordingly, the present invention provides a video karaoke apparatus capable of additionally storing inherent background video information that is semi-permanently more highly necessary in the inherent video storage means without making the inherent video storage means built-in larger than necessary. Another object of the present invention is to provide a communication karaoke system including an information center capable of transmitting unique background video information to the video karaoke apparatus.
[0009]
[Means for solving the problems, functions and effects of the invention]
In order to solve the above-mentioned object, the invention according to
[0010]
This video karaoke deviceIsThe storage meansCommon video information,Predetermined karaoke songHardIt stores the unique background video information set to Yes,The performance means plays the karaoke song according to the control of the control means, and the display control means displays the video on the display means according to the control of the control means. The control means executes a performance process, a determination process, and a deletion process. In the performance process, the designated karaoke piece is played by the playing means, and when the specific video information is set for the designated karaoke piece, it is read and displayed on the display control means.
[0011]
Therefore, in the case of a karaoke song in which unique background video information is stored, a video corresponding to the song content can be displayed on a one-to-one basis, and the atmosphere can be further enhanced. For example, it is also possible to use a promotional video-like video produced by the singer who sings the original song as the unique background video information.
[0012]
However, if the storage capacity of the unique video storage means for storing such unique background video information is too large, the common background is set so that the common video storage means can be commonly used for a plurality of karaoke songs. Since the advantage of downsizing as a whole by storing the video information is lost, it is necessary to permit only the specific background video information for a specific karaoke song.
[0013]
For example, it is considered that the frequency of use of a new song is relatively high in the future, and if it is considered that there is a high demand for display with such unique background video information, the unique background video information about the new song is stored in the unique video It is conceivable to store the data sequentially in the means. However, for example, when a system that adds new songs as needed is adopted, unique background video information with a low necessity is stored, but a unique piece with a relatively high necessity is stored. Background video information may not be stored. That is, even if it is a new song at that time, it becomes a relatively old song when new songs are released one after another after a period of time. Therefore, the specific background video used frequently in a predetermined period immediately after the release often has a low usage frequency from a certain point in time.
[0014]
Therefore, the present video karaoke apparatus deals with the following. That meansIn the performance process, if the specific video information is not set for the designated karaoke song, any common video information is read and displayed on the display control means. Further, in the determination process, the necessity level for each unique video information is determined based on the usage record of the unique video information. TheDelete it.
[0015]
"Usage results" based on judgment means to judge necessityFor example, as shown in
[0016]
In this way, the unique background video information determined to be less necessary is deleted from the unique video storage means, so that the free space of the unique video storage means increases.. ShiTherefore, it is possible to store semi-permanently more necessary unique background video information in the unique video storage means without increasing the size of the built-in unique video storage means more than necessary. Information can be additionally stored in the information storage means.
[0017]
[0018]
However,As for the newly stored unique background video information, it is not preferable to determine that the necessity is uniformly low while the installation company does not judge the necessity, for example, newly stored unique background video information. For this, it is better to make this determination after a predetermined period has elapsed since the storage.
[0019]
In addition, even if it is used once, if it is not used for a long time after that, it is considered that the necessity for the information for providing the service is low, so it is not used for the execution of the information providing service. The longer the period, the less necessary it can be. Similarly, the lower the execution frequency, the lower the degree of necessity.
[0020]
However, even if the period of seemingly unused is long, it is constantly used in the long term, and the number of times of use may increase in total. Conversely, even if the number of times of use is small, if the storage time of the unique background video information is new, it is natural that the number of times of use is small. However, it is preferable not to simply determine that the degree of necessity is low, but to determine the degree of necessity by comprehensively analyzing, for example, a period of not being used and the frequency of use.
[0021]
[0022]
In the case of determining the degree of necessity based on the storage processing execution time, for example, as shown in
[0023]
Meanwhile, claims4The video karaoke device shown in1-3In the video karaoke apparatus according to any one of, EmotionVia the news networkInformation centerConnectable information communication network connection meansAnd the control means makes a distribution request for the unique video information to the information center via the communication control means. It is characterized by that.
[0024]
This video karaoke device is so-called on-line that can receive unique background video information, and the information communication network connection means connects to the information communication network to connect to the information center via the information communication network and distribute it. The request means can request distribution of the unique background video information. In response to this distribution request, the information center distributes the unique background video information to the video karaoke apparatus via the information communication network.
[0025]
Moreover, in such a video karaoke apparatus, for example, a claim5As shown inDeletion process before the control means makes a distribution request for specific background videoMay be executed. That is, although it is good to make a distribution request, there may be a case where the free space of the unique video storage means is less than a predetermined amount and the received unique background video information cannot be stored. Therefore, prior to the distribution request, deletion of the unique background video information is executed if necessary.
[0026]
The above is about a video karaoke apparatus, but the following can be considered as a communication karaoke system provided with this apparatus as a terminal. Claim6The communication karaoke system shown inA communication karaoke system comprising a video karaoke device and an information center connected thereto via an information communication network, the video karaoke device comprising storage means, performance means, display control means, and control means. The storage means stores the common video information and the unique video information set uniquely for the predetermined karaoke song, the performance means plays the karaoke song according to the control of the control means, and the display control means The video is displayed on the display means according to the control of the control means, the control means performs a performance process, a transmission process, and a deletion process, and the performance process causes the performance means to perform the designated karaoke song, If the specific video information is set for the specified karaoke song, it is read and displayed on the display control means, and if it is not set, any of the common video information is displayed. A process for displaying on the display control means reads out the broadcast,
The transmission process is a process of transmitting the usage history of the unique video information and the free capacity of the storage means to the information center. When the deletion process receives a deletion command from the information center, the unique video information corresponding to the deletion command is transmitted. The information center performs a determination process and a transmission process.
The determination process is a process for determining the degree of necessity for the unique video information of the video karaoke device based on the usage record of the unique video information received from the video karaoke device. When it is less than the fixed amount, it is a process of sending a deletion instruction to delete the low-necessity specific video information to the karaoke apparatus. It is characterized by that.
[0027]
According to this communication karaoke system, MovieFrom statue karaoke equipmentUsage history of unique video information and free storage capacityIs sent to the information center.Based on the usage record of the unique video information received from the video karaoke device, the necessity level for each unique video information of the video karaoke device is determined..
[0028]
Sodo it,When the free space of the video karaoke apparatus is less than a predetermined amount, the information center transmits a deletion command to delete the low-necessity specific video information to the karaoke apparatus.
[0029]
When the control means of the video karaoke apparatus receives a deletion command from the information center, the control device of the video karaoke apparatus displays the specific video information corresponding to the deletion command.delete. In this way, the information center side may have a determination function.

In S71, since the usage record table (FIG. 8) is examined in the order of records, n = 1 is set, and in S72, the reception date or the last use date of the record is read. For example, in the case shown in FIG. 8, the reception date or the last use date for the video number “0001” as the first record is January 7, 1994.

In subsequent S73, in order to determine whether or not a state that has never been used continues for a long period of time, it is determined whether or not α days have passed since the reception date or the last use date.
