Tbase …
Ka/f …A/F補正係数
Kap …
Kat …
Kwup …
Kas …

【0025】
ΔT(n)=T(n)−T(n−1) ・・・(3)
【0026】

Here, standard atmospheric pressure and standard temperature are considered, and both coefficients are always set to 1.
[0008]
FIG. 9C shows Kwup (water temperature correction coefficient). The engine output torque decreases at low water temperature, so the output torque is increased, and the coefficient is increased at low water temperature in order to promote the increase in water temperature. It is set.
FIG. 9 (d) shows Kas (increase correction coefficient immediately after start), which corrects the fuel amount immediately after start, in which combustion variations easily occur for each cylinder and engine, and starts to stabilize the combustibility. Immediately after, a coefficient is set to increase the fuel amount.
FIG. 9 (e) shows Tinj (fuel injection valve drive time). Thus, when the engine is started in a cold state, the fuel with respect to the fuel injection valve basic drive time is obtained by the effect of various corrections. However, when the fuel is reduced over time and all the correction factors become 1 in the complete warm-up state, the fuel injection valve drive time Tinj is expressed by the following equation.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Since the conventional fuel control device is configured as described above, there are the following problems.
That is, in order to ensure stable engine driving or drivability, the fuel injection valve drive time is corrected when the engine is cold, and the air-fuel ratio is set to be richer than the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio. As the fuel ratio is set to the rich side from the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio, the amount of THC (total hydrocarbon) exhausted from the engine increases and the exhaust gas deteriorates.
In addition, the fuel injection valve drive time correction coefficient is set to the rich side so that the individual difference of the engine, that is, the engine type is the same even if the engine type is different and the combustion variation among the cylinders can be dealt with. Therefore, the engine that does not need to be rich is set to the rich side, and this also increases the amount of THC discharged from the engine and causes exhaust gas to deteriorate.
[0011]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and does not impair drivability and reduces the amount of exhaust gas when the engine is in a cold state. By correcting variations in combustibility, the exhaust gas can be minimized for each engine and each cylinder, and the same effect can be achieved even in transient operating conditions such as acceleration. An object is to provide a fuel control device.

FIG. 3 shows the processing contents when the engine is in the cold state, particularly immediately after the cold start.
3A shows the cylinder identification signal of the engine, and FIG. 3B shows the crank angle detection signal. The crank angle signal indicates that the rising edge is btdc (front top dead center) 75 ° CA (crank angle) of the cylinder and the falling edge is btdc 5 ° CA. When the cylinder identification signal becomes H level, the crank angle signal indicates the compression stroke of the # 1 cylinder, and the crank angle signal indicates the # 3 cylinder, # 4 cylinder, and # 2 cylinder in the following order. .
As shown in the figure, here, the time between the falling edges of the crank angle signal is the crank angle signal period T (n).
[0024]
FIG. 3C shows a change in the cycle of the crank angle signal of all cylinders. The cycle of the crank angle signal varies depending on the combustion state of the engine. When the combustion torque is large, the engine rotates fast, so the crank angle cycle is shortened. When the combustion torque is small, the crank angle cycle is long. Time t1 to t2 is a cycle of the crank angle signal after the ignition to the # 1 cylinder, and the combustion state of the # 1 cylinder can be grasped by this cycle.
FIG. 3D shows the deviation (ΔT (n)) of the crank angle signal period, and is expressed by the following equation.
[0025]
ΔT (n) = T (n) −T (n−1) (3)
[0026]
When the combustibility of each cylinder is stable, there is no great difference in the generated combustion torque, so the cycle deviation (ΔT (n)) is a value within a predetermined range, but when the combustion state deteriorates, the cycle The deviation will be greatly reduced. From time t1 to t10, the cycle deviation (ΔT (n)) is equal to or greater than a predetermined value (−d), and the combustion state is stable. From time t10 to t11, the period deviation becomes equal to or less than the predetermined value (−d), and it can be detected that the combustion torque of the # 1 cylinder has decreased. From time t11 to t12, the value of the period deviation (ΔT (n)) is large because the value of the previous period deviation was small.
FIG. 3 (e) shows the deviation (ΔT1 (n)) in the crank angle signal cycle of the first cylinder. FIG. 3F shows the target A / F of the # 1 cylinder.
[0027]
Next, the details of the control will be described with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 4 shows the processing contents in the interruption by the edge of the crank angle signal. Step S401 calculates the crank angle period T (n) from the interrupt time of the current crank angle signal and the previous interrupt time. In step S402, the deviation (ΔT (n)) of the crank angle signal period is calculated from the current crank angle period and the previous crank angle period.
[0028]
FIG. 5 shows a method for leaning the air-fuel ratio. Step S501 calculates the intake air amount. Step S502 detects the air-fuel ratio from the output value of the oxygen
[0029]
In FIG. 3 (f), the cycle deviation (ΔT1 (n−2)) of the # 1 cylinder at time t2 ′ is greater than or equal to a predetermined value, so the target air-fuel ratio of the # 1 cylinder is changed from A / F1 (n−2). The fuel is leaned to A / F1 (n-1) and the next fuel injection into the # 1 cylinder is performed by injecting a fuel amount with an air-fuel ratio of A / F1 (n-1).
Next, the period deviation (ΔT1 (n−1)) of the # 1 cylinder at time t6 ′ is confirmed, and since it is equal to or greater than a predetermined value (−d), the target air-fuel ratio of the # 1 cylinder is set to A / F1 (n− 1) is further leaned to A / F1 (n), and fuel is burned by injecting a fuel amount with an air-fuel ratio of A / F1 (n). Similarly, the period deviation (ΔT1 (n)) of the # 1 cylinder at time t10 'is confirmed. Since the period deviation at this time is equal to or less than a predetermined value (−d), it is determined that the combustibility has decreased because the A / F is made too lean, and the target air-fuel ratio of the # 1 cylinder is determined from A / F1 (n). Rich to A / F1 (n + 1).
[0030]
As described above, according to the present embodiment, when the engine is operated in a cold state, the air-fuel ratio can be made lean within a range where the combustion state is stable.
FIG. 6 shows the effect of the present embodiment, and illustrates the engine behavior due to the change in the air-fuel ratio. The horizontal axis represents the air-fuel ratio, and the graph shows the fuel efficiency, NOx amount, THC amount, engine torque fluctuation, and crank angle signal fluctuation from the top.
[0031]
In the present embodiment, the air-fuel ratio is made lean from a → b → c while the rotational fluctuation of the crank angle signal is stable. When A / F = c, the rotational fluctuation of the crank angle signal becomes large. Therefore, it is determined that the combustion limit is reached and the A / F is not leaned any more. If the engine is operated in the vicinity of the combustion limit, the fuel consumption is reduced as shown in the graph, so that the fuel efficiency is improved and the amount of exhaust gas can be reduced. Further, since the rotation fluctuation is detected for each cylinder, the air-fuel ratio can be set to an optimum state for each cylinder, and the combustion torque variation caused by the combustion variation between the cylinders and the component variation can be absorbed. In addition, variations in the combustion state due to individual differences among engines can be absorbed, and an optimal combustion state can be realized in all engines.
In the above description, the period deviation of the crank angle signal is detected as the engine rotation fluctuation amount. However, this is merely an example, and may represent the acceleration or jerk of the engine rotation. In addition, the condition for changing the air-fuel ratio is not to change the air-fuel ratio as soon as the rotational fluctuation amount is detected as described above, but to change the air-fuel ratio using an average value or standard deviation within a predetermined time. There is also a method.
[0032]
In the first embodiment, the air-fuel ratio is detected using the oxygen concentration detection sensor, but it may be detected by calculation without using the sensor. Here, the method for reducing the fuel by fluctuations in the rotation of the engine is the same as that in the first embodiment, so that the description thereof will be omitted and the processing contents will be described with reference to FIG.
In step S701, the amount of intake air is calculated. In step S702, the A / F of a predetermined cylinder is calculated from the intake air amount and the target fuel amount, and it is determined whether or not the air / fuel ratio is richer than the theoretical air / fuel ratio. If it is lean, this processing routine is terminated to prevent the A / F from being leaned any further. In step S703, it is determined whether or not the crank angle cycle of the specific cylinder is greater than or equal to a predetermined value. If it is equal to or greater than the predetermined value, the combustion state is stable, so the routine proceeds to step S704, where the A / F of the specific cylinder is made lean. In step S705, it is determined whether or not the newly set target A / F is richer than the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio. If it is lean, the process proceeds to step S706 to set the target A / F as the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio.
[0033]
As described above, according to the present example, the same effects as those of the first embodiment can be obtained. Further, in the present embodiment, the air-fuel ratio is detected by calculation without using a sensor. Since the detection sensor becomes unnecessary, the amount of fuel can be reduced to near the combustion limit even in a cold state where the oxygen concentration detection sensor is not activated.
[0034]
In each of the above embodiments, the processing contents when the engine is in the cold state are described. However, the fuel amount is reduced by using the same method even in a transient state such as during acceleration (including when the engine is cold and warm). And similar effects can be obtained.
