給湯を行う給湯装置と、該給湯装置から供給されて浴槽に貯められた湯を昇温させて追焚を行う追焚装置とを具備し、該追焚装置は該浴槽に該給湯装置を接続する給湯路と、該給湯路から分岐して該浴槽へと接続された追焚路と、該追焚路に設けられた追焚熱交換器と、該追焚熱交換器より上流の追焚路に設けられ追焚時に該追焚熱交換器に向かって該浴槽の湯を送るポンプとを有する追焚付給湯装置において、
該給湯路は該追焚路との分岐箇所よりも上流に設けられた排水口と、該排水口の下流で該分岐箇所よりも上流に設けられた開閉自在の給湯電磁弁と、該排水口の下流で該分岐箇所よりも上流に設けられ該給湯路の上流への温水の逆流を防止する逆止弁とを有し、
該給湯路の水抜きを行うときは、該排水口が開かれた状態で該給湯電磁弁を開弁し該ポンプを作動させて該給湯路の湯水を該浴槽へ排出させることを特徴とする追焚付給湯装置。
