Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a clip for detachably attaching an attachment member such as an air-conditioning register to an attachment member that has already been assembled on the vehicle body side, such as an instrument panel (hereinafter abbreviated as instrument panel).
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, this type of clip has a structure shown in the perspective view of FIG. 9, and is used as shown in FIG. FIG. 10 shows a cross section in a state in which an air conditioning register 6 is attached to the opening 5 of the instrument panel 1 in the vehicle. The instrument panel 1 has a structure in which the surface of a substrate 2 (instrument insert member), which is a resin molded product, is covered with a skin material 4 such as vinyl chloride through a cushion material 3 such as urethane foam. The cushion material 3 serves to combine the substrate 2 and the skin material 4 and to provide an appropriate cushioning property to the surface of the instrument panel 1.
[0003]
On the other hand, the clip body 12 is formed by press-molding a steel plate, for example, and includes an assembly portion 14 and a locking portion 17. The assembly portion 14 has a flat plate shape, and a pair of locking pieces 15 and 16 are integrally formed therein. Further, both sides of the locking portion 17 are bent, and claws 18 are formed in these bent portions. The assembly portion 14 of the clip body 12 is detachably attached to the attachment holes 8 formed in the upper and lower walls 7 of the register 6 by the locking pieces 15 and 16. The locking portion 17 in this mounted state is located in the release hole 9 formed in the upper and lower walls 7 in the vicinity of the mounting hole 8.
[0004]
Therefore, when the register 6 to which the clip body 12 is mounted is fitted into the opening 5 of the instrument panel 1, the claw 18 of the locking portion 17 is locked to the inner edge of the opening 5 as shown in FIG. 10. As a result, the air-conditioning register 6 is attached to the instrument panel 1 and held in that state. Further, in order to remove the register 6 from the instrument panel 1, as shown in FIG. 11, a minus driver T or the like is inserted from the gap of the fin 10 of the register 6 toward the release hole 9. Then, as shown by the solid line in FIG. 11, the nail 18 is removed from the inner edge of the opening 5 by bending the locking portion 17 at the tip of the flat screwdriver T so that the register 6 is left as it is. Is removed from the opening 5.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, if the force applied to the flat-blade screwdriver T is loosened before the register 6 is removed from the opening 5, the locking portion 17 returns to the original state and the claw 18 is locked behind the opening 5. Further, since at least two clip bodies 12 are mounted on the upper and lower walls 7 of the register 6, it is difficult to keep the locking portions 17 of the clip bodies 12 in the unlocked state. For this reason will be the absolutely impossible, or to scratch the edge and register 6 of the opening 5, or can no longer re-use of the clip body 12.
[0006]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and its purpose is to easily and easily remove this mounting member when removing the mounting member such as the air conditioning register from the mounted member such as the instrument panel. It is possible to keep the surfaces of the mounted member and the mounting member in the mounted state on the same surface in design .
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is for achieving the above-mentioned object, and the invention according to claim 1 attaches a predetermined mounting member in a detachable manner to an opening of a mounted member assembled on the vehicle body side. a mounting structure according to a clip for a clip body beforehand is mounted to the mounting member, and a locking portion located at the free end of the elastic holdings portion extending from the mounting portion, on one surface of the locking portion A plurality of formed locking claws and a lock portion formed on the other surface of the locking portion are also provided. In addition, the attachment member includes a skin contact portion for applying to the skin material of the attached member, and when the attachment member is attached to the opening of the attached member, the skin contact portion hits the skin material of the attached member. One of the locking claws is selectively locked to the inner part of the opening of the attached member, and can be held in a state in which the attaching member is attached. The lock portion is configured to be locked to the attachment member side and hold the lock portion in the lock release position when the lock pawl of the lock portion is removed from the back of the opening and the lock is released. ing.
[0008]
Thus, by removing the latching claw of the latching portion of the clip body from the back of the opening, the lock portion of the clip body is locked to the mounting member side and the latching portion is unlocked. Therefore, even when a plurality of clip bodies are used for one mounting member, the mounting member can be easily and easily removed. And the operation | movement which cancels | releases the latching | locking part and the operation | movement which locks a lock part are performed as a series of operation | movement by elastically deforming an elastic holding part.
In addition, when the skin contact portion of the mounting member is in contact with the skin material of the mounted member, one of the locking claws is selectively locked and attached to the back of the opening of the mounted member. Is attached to the attached member with reference to the surface of the skin material of the attached member. Thereby, even if the thickness of a to-be-attached member (the cushion material) has dispersion | variation, the mutual surface of a to-be-attached member and an attachment member can be kept on the same surface in design.
[0009]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a clip mounting structure according to the first aspect, wherein a receiving portion capable of receiving an unlocking tool is formed near the free end of the elastic holding portion in the clip body.
By using this receiving portion, the tool for unlocking is less likely to slip or come off from the elastic holding portion when the mounting member is removed, and the elastic holding portion can be reliably elastically deformed. .
[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view showing a mounting structure using clips. The instrument panel 21 shown in this drawing is an example of a “attached member” already assembled on the vehicle body side in a vehicle. The instrument panel 21 has a structure in which a surface of a substrate 22 integrally formed of a synthetic resin material or the like is covered with a skin material 24 such as vinyl chloride via a cushion material 23 such as urethane foam. The outline of the molding of the instrument panel 21 will be described. The skin material 24 is set on the design surface in the foaming mold, and then the urethane powder and the substrate 22 are set in this order. Then, by heating the mold and foaming (expanding) urethane, the cushion material 23 has a predetermined thickness and the substrate 22 and the skin material 24 are bonded together.
[0012]
An opening 25 is formed at a predetermined position of the instrument panel 21, and the air-conditioning register 30 is fitted into the opening 25 in a detachable manner. The register 30 is an example of an “attachment member” for the instrument panel 21. The register 30 is formed in a substantially square cylindrical shape having upper and lower walls 31 and both side walls 32, as is apparent from FIG. A plurality of lateral fins 33 supported by both side walls 32 are provided at regular intervals on the inner side near the front surface of the register 30. On the back side of these horizontal fins 33, vertical fins 34 supported by the upper and lower walls 31 are provided (FIG. 1).
[0013]
Attachment holes 36 and release holes 39 are formed at two positions on the upper and lower walls 31 of the register 30 in an array along the front-rear direction of the register 30. These attachment holes 36 are for attaching a clip body 41 to be described next, and are provided with an insertion hole 37 and an elongated drawing hole 38 (FIG. 3). As will be described later, the release hole 39 is set to a size that allows the locking portion 50 of the clip body 41 to be retracted toward the inside of the upper and lower walls 31.
[0014]
3 is a perspective view showing the clip main body 41 in association with the mounting hole 36 and the release hole 39, FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing the clip main body 41 in an overhead view, and FIG. It is sectional drawing showing the state. The clip body 41 is an integrally molded product made of a synthetic resin material, an assembly portion 42 for assembling in the attachment hole 36, an elastic holding portion 48 extending at a predetermined angle from one end of the assembly portion 42, and And an engaging portion 50 located at the free end of the elastic holding portion 48.
[0015]
A fitting portion 44 having an engagement piece 45 is formed on one side surface (the lower side surface of the drawing) of the assembly portion 42. After the engaging piece 45 is inserted into the insertion hole 37 of the mounting hole 36, the clip body 41 is mounted on the upper and lower walls 31 as shown in FIG. In the vicinity of the fitting portion 44, an engagement protrusion 46 is formed that engages with the edge of the insertion hole 37 in a state where the fitting portion 44 is positioned in the drawing hole 38. The assembly portion 42 is formed with a stabilizer 47 that abuts against the outer surface of the upper and lower walls 31 with elasticity.
[0016]
The locking portion 50 is bent at a predetermined angle with respect to the elastic holding portion 48, and a plurality of locking claws 52 are formed on one side (upper surface in the drawing). In addition, a receiving portion 53 for engaging the tip of the minus driver T is formed at the tip of the locking portion 50 as will be described later. Furthermore, a lock portion 54 having a lock claw 55 that can be engaged with the edge of the release hole 39 is formed on the other surface side of the locking portion 50.
[0017]
In order to attach the clip body 41 to the upper and lower walls 31 of the register 30, the engaging piece 45 of the fitting portion 44 is inserted into the insertion hole 37 of the mounting hole 36, and the fitting portion 44 is moved to the drawing hole 38. . As a result, the engaging piece 45 moves toward the drawing hole 38 inside the upper and lower walls 31, and the stabilizer 47 moves in the same direction outside the upper and lower walls 31. When the fitting portion 44 comes into contact with the end portion of the drawing hole 38, the locking projection 46 is engaged with the edge of the insertion hole 37, whereby the assembly portion 42 of the clip body 41 is assembled to the upper and lower walls 31. . The locking portion 50 in this state is held in a state of protruding from the upper and lower walls 31 at a position facing the release hole 39, and the lock portion 54 faces the rear edge of the release hole 39. (FIG. 5).
[0018]
When the register 30 having the clip body 41 mounted on the upper and lower walls 31 is inserted into the opening 25 of the instrument panel 21 as described above, the locking portion 50 protruding from the upper and lower walls 31 is pushed by the inner periphery of the opening 25. The elastic holding portion 48 is pressed toward the release hole 39 by the elasticity. When the locking portion 50 passes through the back portion 26 of the opening 25, the locking claw 52 of the locking portion 50 engages with the edge of the back portion 26 by the restoring force of the elastic holding portion 48. This state is shown in FIG. 6, whereby the assembly of the register 30 to the opening 25 of the instrument panel 21 is completed.
[0019]
Almost simultaneously with the engagement of the engagement claw 52 of the engagement portion 50 with the edge of the inner portion 26, the skin contact portion 35 of the register 30 is located on the inner peripheral portion of the opening 25 as shown in FIG. 6. It hits the skin material 24 of the instrument panel 21. That is, the register 30 is attached to the instrument panel 21 using the surface of the skin material 24 as a reference (skin reference). Since the cushion material 23 is foam-molded as described above, the thickness thereof varies, resulting in an error of about ± 1.0 mm in the thickness of the skin layers (the cushion material 23 and the skin material 24). However, by adopting the skin standard, the mutual surfaces of the instrument panel 21 and the register 30 can be kept on the same plane in design (FIGS. 1 and 6).
[0020]
By the way, when the skin reference is adopted, the variation in the thickness of the skin layer appears as a change in the position of the clip main body 41 (locking portion 50) with respect to the inner portion 26 of the opening 25. This can be dealt with by selectively engaging the plurality of locking claws 52 with the edge of the back portion 26. For example, when the clip body 41 changes from the average neutral position shown in FIG. 6 to the back side of the opening 25, as shown in FIG. 52 engages with the edge of the back portion 26. On the contrary, when the clip body 41 changes to the entrance side of the opening 25, the locking portion 50 is pressed by the elastic deformation of the elastic holding portion 48 as shown in FIG. A locking claw 52 near the base end of the portion 50 engages with the edge of the back portion 26.
[0021]
Incidentally, in the conventional structure shown in FIG. 10, the resistor 6 is applied to the substrate 2 of the instrument panel 1 and attached as a reference (insert reference). In this case, the position of engagement of the clip body 12 with the substrate 2 is kept substantially constant, but the variation in the thickness of the cushion material 3 appears as a displacement of the surfaces of the instrument panel 1 and the register 6, and the surfaces of each other are The same surface cannot be designed. Therefore, conventionally, in order to make the deviation of the surface of the instrument panel 1 and the register 6 inconspicuous, a design step is intentionally provided at the boundary of each other as is apparent from FIG.
[0022]
Next, a case where the register 30 is removed from the instrument panel 21 for the purpose of maintenance will be described.
In this case, as shown in FIG. 8, a flat-blade screwdriver T or a similar tool is used, and the tip portion is inserted between the fins 33 and 34 of the register 30 toward the release hole 39 of the upper and lower walls 31. Then, the tip of the driver T is engaged with the receiving portion 53 of the clip body 41, and the locking portion 50 is indicated by the solid line from the phantom line in FIG. 8 by the elastic deformation of the elastic holding portion 48 by the operation of the driver T. Into the release hole 39.
[0023]
As a result, the locking claw 52 of the locking portion 50 is disengaged from the edge of the back portion 26, and at the same time, the locking claw 55 of the locking portion 54 is locked to the edge of the release hole 39. That is, the locking portion 50 is held on the register 31 side in a state where the engagement with the instrument panel 21 is released. The unlocking and holding are performed as a series of operations, and during this operation, the tip of the driver T is engaged with the receiving portion 53, so that the workability is good and the elastic holding portion 48 is elastically deformed. It is easy to make it.
[0024]
In this way, for all the clip main bodies 41 assembled to the upper and lower walls 31, the registers 30 are extracted from the openings 25 of the instrument panel 21 in a state where the respective locking portions 50 are held at the unlocking positions. At this time, since the locking portion 50 of each clip body 41 is held inside the inner surface of the opening 25, the register 30 can be removed without damaging the instrument panel 21 and the clip body 41. Therefore, all of the instrument panel 21, the register 30, and the clip body 41 can be reused or recycled.
[0025]
In the present embodiment, the fitting portion 44 having the engagement piece 45 and the stabilizer 47 are formed in the assembly portion 42 of the clip body 41, and the mounting hole 36 opened in the upper and lower walls 31 of the register 30 is It has a structure in which a drawing hole 38 for inserting the fitting portion 44 is formed. As a result, the clip main body 41 attached to the upper and lower walls 31 hardly wobbles and the locking state of the locking portion 50 with respect to the instrument panel 21 is stabilized.
