車両に取り付けられるべき取付部と、該取付部に一体的に設けられた仮止めクリップとを有し、該仮止めクリップが、車両に穿設された取付孔に挿通されて、該取付孔の開口周辺部に係合されることにより、該取付部において車両に仮止めされるように構成された仮止めクリップ付き車両用外装部品であって、
前記仮止めクリップを、(a)前記取付部の車両側の面に対して一体的に突設される、前記取付孔内に挿通可能な突起部と、(b)該突起部の先端側から基部側に向かって延び出し、且つ基部側に向かうに従って該突起部から徐々に離隔して、該突起部との間に漸次拡大する間隙を形成する形態を有して、該突起部に一体的に設けられ、前記取付孔内に挿通された状態で、延出先端において該取付孔の開口周辺部に係合する弾性変形可能な係合爪と、(c)該係合爪の延出方向の中間部位に穿設された孔部又は先端側部位に設けられた切欠部からなり、且つ一つの剛性の長手部材が前記取付孔と同時に挿通可能とされた挿通部とを含んで構成する一方、
