Description
【0001】

Now, when the welding condition is not established due to disconnection of the secondary cable or poor pressure contact of the welding electrode 9, it is necessary to notify this by an alarm output. In such a state, as shown in FIG. 2A, the current reference I * is input at time t 0 , the entire voltage is applied to the primary side of the

(B) The modulation factor M in the vicinity of the 90 ° phase (time t 1 ) is 1, and the level of the detection current I at that time is extremely low, but this allows current to flow to the load side. This means that it has disappeared, and it can be determined that the power is not supplied.
[0029]
Looking at (b) the time t 2 ~t 3, the current I reaches the current reference I * the same level at time t 2, the maintains the same level until time t 3. However, the primary side voltage V 1 and the modulation factor M are rapidly decreased during this time. This means that the

(E) As apparent from the comparison between FIG. 2A and FIG. 2B, the waveform of the detected current I in FIG. 2A has a peak shape. The [effective value / average value] value or the [peak value / average value] value is large. From these things, the non-energized state of the secondary side can be detected.
[0033]
(F) As apparent from comparing the detection current I in FIG. 2A with the detection current I in FIG. 2B, the interval in which the level is constant is more marked in FIG. 2A. short. From these things, the non-energized state of the secondary side can be detected.
[0034]
(G) In FIG. 2A, the voltage V 1 is constant from time t 1 to time t 2 despite the increase in current I, and the voltage V 1 decreases from time t 2 to time t 3. In spite of this, the current I is constant. Accordingly, the polarities of the change rates of the voltage V 1 and the current I are obtained, and when there is a section where the polarities of the two do not match, it can be determined that the secondary side is in a non-energized state.
[0035]
The above-described detection method of the non-energized state is performed using the characteristics of the waveform of each signal on the primary side of the transformer, and it is not necessary to raise the level of the current reference I * . Therefore, it is possible to detect the non-energized state on the secondary side without narrowing the change range of the welding current. And said structure is easily realizable with a microcomputer.
