本発明は、出入口を広く形成したバリアフリー設計の浴室やシャワー室等の水場において、その出入口に設けられる折戸に関する。

【従来の技術】
バリアフリー設計の浴室等においては、身障者の車椅子での出入りなどを考慮してその出入口を広く形成しており、このような幅広の出入口に設けられる折戸として、例えば特開平10−108888号公報に記載のものが知られている。この折戸は、枠体と、枠体に開閉自在に設けられた一対の2枚折戸体とで構成され、この一対の2枚折戸体を左右にそれぞれ折り畳むように開放することにより、十分な有効開口幅を得るようにしている。この場合、左右一対の2枚折戸体は、同幅(見付け方向が同一幅)に形成された同一構造のものが用いられている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このような従来の折戸では、身障者等が使用する場合には出入口を広く開放できて有用であるが、健常者が使用する場合には一対の2枚折戸体をそれぞれに開閉する必要があり、煩雑な開閉操作を強いることになる。もっとも、健常者が使用する場合に、一方の2枚折戸体のみを開閉することも考えられるが、かかる場合には、開口幅が狭くなってしまい、出入りが良好に行えなくなる不具合がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の折戸は、枠体と、枠体に案内されて開閉動作する主2枚折戸体と、枠体に案内されて開閉動作すると共に主2枚折戸体より幅狭に形成された副2枚折戸体と、主2枚折戸体と副2枚折戸体とを相互に回動自在に連結する連結機構とを備え、主2枚折戸体と副2枚折戸体とは連結した状態で、それぞれ折り畳まれる開放状態とそれぞれ直線上に展開する閉塞状態との間で開閉自在に構成され、連結機構は、主2枚折戸体と副2枚折戸体との間隙に臨んで間隙を閉塞する連結枠体と、連結枠体と主2枚折戸体の連結側の縦框、および連結枠体と副2枚折戸体框の連結側の縦框をそれぞれ回動自在に連結する左右の回動機構と、を有し、各回動機構は、各縦框に設けたヒンジピンと、一端部をヒンジピンに回動自在に軸支され他端部を連結枠体に固定したアーム部材とを有していることを特徴とする。

また、主2枚折戸体および副2枚折戸体を折り畳んだときに、扉体同士の干渉、特に取っ手などの突起物との衝突を有効に防止することができる。またさらに、回動部分のシール構造を簡単かつ良好なものとすることができる。
なお、主2枚折戸体による有効開口幅は、健常者が出入りする場合や身障者が乗った車椅子を介護者が押して出入りする場合を考慮した寸法とすることが好ましく、主副両2枚折戸体による有効開口幅は、身障者自身が車椅子で出入りする場合を考慮した寸法とすることが好ましい。

以下、添付図面を参照して、本発明の一実施形態に係る折戸を浴室の出入口に設置した場合について説明する。この浴室では、身障者等の出入りと健常者等の出入りとを考慮して、その出入口を広狭自在に開放できるように構成している。図1は、浴室側から見た第1実施形態に係る折戸1Aの姿図であり、同図に示すように、折戸1Aは、枠体2と枠体2に開閉自在に装着した扉体3とで構成され、また扉体3は、幅広に形成した主2枚折戸体4と幅狭に形成した副2枚折戸体5とを連結機構6により回動自在に連結して、構成されている。
