Description

【0001】
【0017】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a brake pad wear detection probe mounting structure.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a wear detection probe for detecting that the wear level of a brake pad of an automobile has reached the use limit has been developed. As a structure for attaching this wear detection probe, one disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 55-45070 is known. As shown in FIG. 7, a mounting hole 2a is formed in the mounting plate 2 to which the brake pad 1 is fixed, and a cylindrical collar body 3 is fitted in the mounting hole 2a in advance. On the inner peripheral surface of the collar body 3, a locking piece 3a is cut and raised inward. On the other hand, a sleeve 5 is fitted in the barrel portion of the wear detection probe 4 and can be inserted into the collar body 3 in this state.
When the wear detection probe 4 is inserted into the collar body 3, the locking piece 3 a of the collar body 3 engages with the flange portion 5 a of the sleeve 5, thereby preventing the wear detection probe 4 from coming off from the collar body 3. Thus, it is fixed to the mounting plate 2.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above configuration in which the wear detection probe 4 is prevented from being detached by the locking piece 3a, once the wear detection probe 4 is fixed to the mounting plate 2, it is very difficult to remove it. Therefore, even when the situation that the wear detection probe 4 has to be replaced occurs, the wear detection probe 4 must be replaced with a brake pad or the like instead of being removed alone.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a brake pad wear detection probe mounting structure that can be easily attached and detached.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the invention according to claim 1 is characterized in that a wear detection probe for detecting that the brake pad has reached the wear limit is inserted into a probe mounting hole formed through the support base of the brake pad. In the structure for mounting the wear detection probe for holding the probe, the wear detection probe is laid and attached to the opening edge of the probe mounting hole, and a part of the wear detection probe is aligned with the probe mounting hole. A flat bracket that can be inserted into the probe mounting hole, a pair of projecting portions projecting laterally from the wear detection probe and having a round cross section, and each projecting portion at a position around the hole in the bracket. corresponding to the section and a pair of hooks arranged and having respectively cut and raised in deflectable individually and cantilevered from said bracket at symmetrical positions The hook is rotated around the axis in a predetermined direction with the wear detection probe inserted through the probe mounting hole so as to engage with each overhanging portion to prevent the wear detection probe from coming off. Of the hook, and the receiving port of the overhanging portion is formed so as to be elastically deformable and is always narrowed so that the overhanging portion does not come off from the hook, and an intermediate portion of each hook Is characterized in that an accommodating portion is formed which bends in a mountain shape in a direction away from the support base and abuts and supports the overhang portions on the inside thereof .
[0005]
The invention according to claim 2 is characterized in that, in the brake pad wear detection probe mounting structure according to claim 1, a knob for rotating the wear detection probe is formed protruding from the rear end surface of the wear detection probe. Have.
[0006]
[Action and effect of the invention]
According to the configuration of the first aspect, when the wear detection probe is inserted into the probe mounting hole and the overhanging portion is abutted against the opening edge of the probe mounting hole or the bracket and rotated in a predetermined direction, the hook receiving port is elastically deformed. Along with this, the overhang enters the inside of the hook, and the wear detection probe is held in a state of being prevented from coming off. At this time, the hook receiving port is restored and narrowed, and the overhanging portion cannot be detached from the hook.
On the other hand, when the wear detection probe is rotated in the opposite direction, the overhanging part pushes and widens the receiving port so that the wear detection probe can be removed from the probe mounting hole.
As described above, in the configuration of the present invention, since the attachment / detachment operation is easy, even when there is a situation in which only the wear detection probe needs to be replaced, the replacement operation can be performed efficiently.
[0007]
According to the configuration of the second aspect, since the knob is provided on the rear end surface of the wear detection probe, the operation of rotating the wear detection probe is facilitated.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Embodiments embodying the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 shows the configuration of the brake device. In the figure, reference numeral 10 denotes a disk-shaped rotor, and a pair of support bases 11 and 12 are disposed on both sides thereof, and brake pads 13 and 14 are mounted on the surface of the support bases 11 and 12 on the rotor 10 side. Yes. Then, the support bases 11 and 12 are moved to the rotor 10 side by a driving device (not shown), and the brake pads 13 and 14 are pressed against the rotor 10 to stop the rotation of the rotor 10 by the frictional force acting between them. it can.
[0009]
A wear detection probe 20 (hereinafter referred to as “probe 20”) to which the present invention is applied is inserted into a probe mounting hole 15 formed in one support base 12, as shown in FIG. It is in a state of protruding into the through hole 17 formed in the pad 14.
[0010]
As shown in FIG. 3, the probe 20 includes a probe body 21 made of a synthetic resin having a shape in which a tip of a cylindrical body is tapered in a stepped shape. A pair of wire receiving grooves 22A and 22B extend in parallel from the rear end to the front end on the upper side in FIG. One wire receiving groove 22A communicates with the vertical hole 40A penetrating the tip of the probe main body 21 in the vertical direction of FIG. 3, and the other electric wire receiving groove 22B is located behind the vertical hole 40A. These vertical holes 40A and 40B communicate with both ends of a short wire receiving groove 22C formed on the lower peripheral surface in FIG. 3 of the probe main body 21. doing. And the electric wire 18 which passed both electric wire accommodation groove | channels 22A and 22B is return | folded through the front vertical hole 40A, the short electric wire accommodation groove | channel 22C, and the back vertical hole 40B. A disconnection detector (not shown) is connected to the tip of the drawn electric wire 18 so that when the electric wire 18 is cut due to wear of the brake pad 14, a warning lamp is turned on.
[0011]
At the rear end of the outer peripheral surface of the probe main body 21, a pair of swiveling bars 23, 23 having a round cross section are projected in alternate directions. As shown in FIG. 2, the swivel rod 23 extends in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the vertical hole 40 </ b> A extends. When the swivel rod 23 is locked to a hook 33 described later, the vertical hole 40 </ b> A is formed in the rotor 10. (Refer to the direction A in FIG. 1).
On the rear end face of the probe main body 21, a protruding piece-like knob 24 is formed so as to be able to rotate the probe 20 by picking it.
[0012]
A bracket 30 made of sheet metal is laid and attached to the opening edge of the probe mounting hole 15. As shown in FIG. 4, the bracket 30 has a square shape and is provided with a round hole 31 into which the probe 20 can be inserted at the center thereof. It is laid on the edge. Then, bolts 32, 32 are passed through the upper and lower edges of the bracket 30 in FIG. 4, and the bracket 30 is fixed to the support base 12 by tightening the bolts 32.
[0013]
Now, a pair of hooks 33, 33 corresponding to the swivel rod 23 are formed on the left and right edges of the round hole 31 in FIG. The hook 33 is provided with a receiving portion 33A bent in a mountain shape on the side away from the support base 12 at the intermediate portion of the tongue piece extending in the tangential direction of the round hole 31, and at the tip side of the tongue piece, the side away from the support base 12 Is provided with an introduction portion 33B that rises obliquely. In addition, the proximal end side of the introduction portion 33 </ b> B serves as a receiving port 33 </ b> C that is narrower than the diameter of the swivel rod 23.
[0014]
Next, the operation of this embodiment will be described.
In order to attach the probe 20 to the brake device, the knob 24 is grasped and the probe 20 is inserted into the probe mounting hole 15 of the support base 12 (see FIG. 4). Then, as shown in FIG. 5, the swivel rod 23 of the probe 20 abuts against the bracket 30 fixed to the support base 12. At this time, the tip of the probe 20 enters the through hole 17 of the brake pad 14 (see FIG. 2). Then, the knob 24 is twisted to rotate the probe 20 in the direction of the arrow in FIG. Then, both swivel rods 23, 23 of the probe 20 are swung and come into contact with the introduction portions 33 </ b> B of both hooks 33 of the bracket 30 obliquely. When the probe 20 is further rotated from this state, the hook 33 rides on the swivel rod 23 by the guide of the introducing portion 33B, and the receiving port 33C of the hook 33 is widened. Will restore. As a result, the mounting operation of the probe 20 is completed, and the probe 20 is held in the probe mounting hole 15 so as not to be detached.
[0015]
In some cases, the brake device is subjected to vibration or the like, and the probe 20 is likely to rotate. However, since the receiving port 33C on the open side of the hook 33 is narrower than the diameter of the swivel rod 23, the swivel rod 23 does not come off from the hook 33, and the probe 20 rotates unintentionally and comes out. Is prevented.
When the brake is used and the brake pad 14 reaches the wear limit due to sliding contact with the rotor 10 (see FIG. 1), the rotor 10 slides against the tip of the probe 20. Here, even if the probe 20 is pushed by the rotor 10, the swivel rod 23 of the probe 20 is restricted by the hook 33 so as not to be separated from the support base 12, so that the probe 20 does not come out and slides on the rotor 10. Thus, the folded portion of the electric wire 18 accommodated in the vertical hole 40A is cut. Further, since the vertical hole 40A extends along the rotation direction of the rotor 10 (see FIG. 1), even if the electric wire 18 slides on the rotor 10, it is gradually worn away and cut. Then, a warning lamp (not shown) is turned on and this is detected.
[0016]
Now, when it becomes necessary to remove the probe 20 attached to the support base 12, it is only necessary to twist the knob 24 and rotate the probe 20 in the direction opposite to that at the time of mounting. Then, the hook 33 is pushed up by the swivel rod 23 to disengage them, and the probe 20 can be removed.
Thus, according to the attachment structure of the probe 20 of the present embodiment, the attachment / detachment operation is easy, so that even when there is a situation where only the probe 20 needs to be exchanged, the exchange work can be performed efficiently.
[0017]

A pair of projecting portions projecting laterally from the wear detection probe and having a round cross section, and arranged in symmetrical positions corresponding to the projecting portions at positions around the hole in the bracket, and A pair of hooks that are cantilevered from the bracket and individually bent and raised ;
The hook is formed so that the wear detection probe is prevented from coming off by engaging with each overhanging portion by rotating the wear detection probe around the axis in a predetermined direction with the wear detection probe being inserted through the probe mounting hole. In addition, the receiving port of the overhanging portion of the hook is formed so as to be elastically deformable, and is always narrowed so that the overhanging portion does not come off from the hook. A brake pad wear detection probe mounting structure, characterized in that a receiving portion is formed which bends in a mountain shape in a direction away from the support base and abuts and supports each of the overhang portions .
