本発明は、島設備に複数並べて設置するパチンコ遊技機やスロット遊技機(パチスロ遊技機)などの遊技機に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
島設備に複数並べて設置する従来の遊技機、例えばパチンコ遊技機にあっては、外枠が木製であり、この外枠を島設備の上下の横材に釘で打ちつけて島設備に固定するとともに、設置傾斜角度の調整を行っている。

一方、近時は、パチンコ遊技機の外枠を合成樹脂により形成し、これを釘により島設備への固定することも提案されている。外枠を木製から合成樹脂製に切り換えることは、ライフサイクルが比較的短いパチンコ遊技機において、リサイクルを容易にするとともに、木材という天然資源の保護に寄与し得るという長所を有するものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、パチンコ遊技機の外枠においては、これを樹脂化した場合でも所要の強度を確保する必要がある。このため、合成樹脂製外枠の強度を向上させ、また、成形する際に発生するヒケを防止するために、外枠を構成する上下の横材並びに左右の縦材を中実(ムク)とせずに、各部材内に空部を形成してリブで補強することが有利と考えられる。

しかしながら、このように外枠の各部材に空部とリブを形成する場合、金型の抜きなど成型上の問題から外枠の外側の面に空部が開口してリブで区画されることとなる。このため、島設備へ設置する場合に、外枠の島設備に対する接触面が、空部の開口によって、外枠と島設備との接触面が小さくなってしまい、頑丈な設置ができない。

そこで、本発明は、合成樹脂製の外枠の強度を向上させ、且つ島設備に対する頑丈な設置ができる遊技機を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記目的を達成するために提案されたものであり、請求項1に記載のものは、島設備に設置される外枠を、上下の横部材、左右の縦部材を有する矩形の枠体により構成し、外枠の前面開口部を内枠で塞いで遊技盤の遊技部を前面に臨ませた遊技機において、
上記外枠を合成樹脂により成形するとともに、上横部材の上面側及び下横部材の下面側に補強リブを形成すると共に該補強リブにより区画される凹部状の空部を複数形成し、
上横部材及び下横部材に島設備への取付部材を通すための貫通孔を開設し、
上横部材の上面には、該上横部材の各空部の開口部分を閉塞する状態で、島設備との接触面を形成する補強金属板を取り付けると共に、該補強金属板に上記貫通孔に対応する貫通孔を開設したことを特徴とする遊技機である。

【作用】
請求項1に記載の遊技機では、合成樹脂により成形した外枠の上下の横部材が補強リブの形成により補強されるとともに、上横部材の上面に取り付けた補強金属板により強度が高められる。また、上横部材に補強リブを形成すると共に該補強リブにより区画される凹部状の空部を複数形成することにより島設備に接触する面積が減少しても、該上横部材の取り付けた補強金属板が島設備との接触面積を補足するので、島設備に対する設置は必要十分な強さを確保することが可能となり、頑丈な設置ができる。
そして、補強金属板に開設した貫通孔から釘などの取付部材を挿通して島設備に強固に固定することができる。

請求項2に記載の遊技機では、補強金属板が、外枠の上横部材上面にその左右全長に亘って添設される平面部と、該平面部の両端から折れ曲がり外枠側面の一部を被う側面部とを有するコ字状なので、この補強金属板が上横部材のみならず外枠側面までを補強して外枠の変形を防止し、これにより外枠全体の剛性を高めることが可能である。

なお、外枠4を島設備に固定する取付部材は、釘に限定されるものではなく、例えば木ねじ、ボルトなどでもよい。

以上説明したように本発明によれば、次のような効果を奏する。
請求項1記載の発明によれば、遊技機の外枠を合成樹脂により形成し、その上横部材及び下横部材に補強リブと該補強リブにより区画される凹部状の空部と取付部材用貫通孔を形成すると共に、その上横部材の上面に島設備との接触面を形成する補強金属板を取り付けているので、遊技機の外枠は補助金属板を介在した状態で島設備に設置されることとなり、島設備に対する接触面積が大きくなって樹脂による滑りなくなると共に、外枠自体が補強されてその強度が向上する。したがって、補強金属板がない場合に比較してより頑丈に遊技機の樹脂製外枠を島設備に設置できる。
