従来、ビル建物などでケーブルを収納するケーブルラックや、空調配管を収納する冷媒管ラック等の開口部を連続施蓋するカバーとして、当出願人が先に提案した特開平9−163539号公報や、特開2001−25128公報に記載されたカバーが使用されている。これらのカバーは、平面状を成した天板の長手両側縁を屈曲して、ケーブルラックの親桁等の外側に係止する係止片を形成したものである。また、この他のカバーとして天板が屋根形状に屈曲されたタイプのカバーも多く使用されている(例えば特開2000−023327公報参照)。

これらのカバーでラック等を施蓋する場合は、いずれも、規制長さのカバーを組み合わせて使用しているが、現場に合わせて施工することから、規制長さ以外のサイズが必要になることがある。この場合、規制長さのカバーを切断して使用するか、あるいは、規制長さ以外のサイズに合わせた特注品をメーカーに発注するといった手段が採られている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上述の目的を達成すべく本発明の第1の手段は、ケーブル又は冷媒管を収納する略樋状を成した収納体Pの開口上部を連続的に施蓋するカバーにおいて、収納体の開口上部を施蓋するカバー体1と、このカバー体1の長手両側縁から屈曲され、収納体Pの長手側縁P1に沿って該長手側縁P1の外側に重合する一対の係止片2とから成り、カバー体1長手一端部の係止片2相互の間隔を他端部の係止片2相互の間隔より狭めると共に、係止片2相互の間隔がカバー体1の一端部から他端部にかけて漸次広がるように形成し、間隔が狭い一端部を幅狭端部4とし、間隔が広い他端部を幅広端部3とし、隣接するカバーの一方の幅広端部3を他方の幅狭端部4上面にスライド自在に重合してカバーの長さを調整することにある。
