Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a toothbrush processing method.
[0002]
[Prior art and its drawbacks]
Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 4, a toothbrush in which the tip 12 of the filament 1 is sharpened in a tapered shape has been proposed. The filament 1 having such a shape has an advantage that the hair tip 10 easily enters between the teeth or between the teeth and the gums, and therefore, it is easy to remove fine plaque.
[0003]
As a method for processing such a filament, a method has been proposed in which a filament of a toothbrush is immersed in a chemical solution and a rotating brush for processing is rotated in the chemical solution to dissolve and sharpen the filament with the chemical solution. (Kaihei 7-213346). However, in this prior art, after sharpening the filament, it is necessary to immerse the toothbrush again in another chemical solution to neutralize the chemical solution, so that the productivity is poor.
[0004]
On the other hand, a method for sharpening the tip of the filament by rotating the file with a rotating file lightly pressed against the tip of the toothbrush is also proposed (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 3-198808). However, in this prior art, a rotating file is pressed against the filament, so that the tip of the filament is bent, and the tip of the bundle of toothbrush filaments is attached as if the toothbrush was used over a long period of time. May become a widened shape or wear out.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a toothbrush processing method that can sharpen the filament of the toothbrush and is excellent in productivity.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention rotates a roller in which a large number of metal needles are fixed to the outer periphery and moves the roller relatively forward and backward in the radial direction while providing a toothbrush along the outer periphery of the roller. The metal needle is passed between the filaments of the toothbrush while being moved, and the tip of the filament is sharpened by the metal needle.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
In FIG. 1, the blade roller 2 in which a large number of metal needles 20 are implanted rotates in the circumferential direction R and advances and retreats while vibrating in the radial direction X. The metal needles 20 have a thickness of 1 mm or less, for example, and are formed in a bowl shape (character shape). As shown in FIG. It is installed.
[0008]
As shown in FIG. 3, the bundle 3 of filaments 1 is held in a bundled state by a brush base 4. Each toothbrush 5 is clamped by a supply machine (not shown), and the supply machine moves the toothbrush 5 along the axial direction Y of the blade roller 2.
[0009]
Next, a manufacturing method will be described.
The toothbrush 5 moves along the axial direction Y of the blade roller 2 and is supplied to the processing position of the blade roller 2. On the other hand, the blade roller 2 rotates in the circumferential direction R while vibrating in the radial direction X. Thereby, as shown in FIG. 1, a large number of metal needles 20 pass between the filament 1 and the filament 1 of the tip portion 12 of the bundle 3. At this time, the metal needle 20 scrapes off the tip 12 of the filament 1 to sharpen the tip 12 of the filament 1 as shown in FIG.
[0010]
Here, according to the present machining method, the blade 1 in FIG. 1 sharpens the filament 1 while moving forward and backward in the radial direction X, so the metal needle 20 cuts the filament 1 so that the filament 1 becomes thinner as it goes to the tip portion 12. It is done. Therefore, the filament 1 sharpened in a tapered shape as shown in FIG. 4 is obtained.
[0011]
Further, instead of pressing the metal needle 20 of FIG. 1, the metal needle 20 passes between the filaments 1, so that there is a possibility that the tip of the bundle 3 of filaments may spread after processing, like a used toothbrush. Absent.
[0012]
And since the toothbrush 5 is moved along the axial direction Y of the blade roller 2 like FIG. 3, since many toothbrushes 5 can be processed simultaneously, production efficiency is also good.
[0013]
In the present invention, the toothbrush 5 may be moved in the arrow Y direction in a posture rotated by 90 °. Further, the toothbrush 5 may be moved along the tangential direction or the circumferential direction of the blade roller 2 instead of the arrow Y direction. Furthermore, the toothbrush 5 may be advanced and retracted in the X direction without moving the blade roller 2 in the X direction.
[0014]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, since the roller having a large number of metal needles on the outer periphery is relatively advanced and retracted in the radial direction, the tip of the filament can be sharpened, and the processing tool can be applied to the filament. Since there is no pressing, there is no fear that the tip of the bundle of filaments will spread like a used toothbrush.
Further, since the toothbrush is transferred along the roller while rotating the roller, a large number of toothbrushes can be processed at the same time, so that productivity is good.
[Brief description of the drawings]
FIG. 1 is a side view showing a processing method according to an embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 2 is a partial front view of a blade roller.
FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing a processing method.
FIG. 4 is an enlarged side view showing a tip portion of a filament.
