本発明は、木質材に文字、図形等を焼印する装置に関し、更に詳細には、メニュ−札、表札、看板等の木質材に文字、図形等を簡便に焼印して趣味性に富んだ表現手段を提供せんとするものである。

従来、メニュ−札、表札、看板等は、板材に墨、塗料等で書込み、或いはプラスチック板に刻印させる等して作成しているが、その表現手段は陳腐化してしまい、デザイン上の斬新さに欠けるきらいがある。
そこで、本発明者は、これに代わって、木質の板材に焼印する表現手段に着目した。

一方、本発明とは目的を異にするが、従来焼印装置として自動焼印装置(実開昭60−19496号)があり、その概要は、木材や木製加工品に、産地名、生産者等の表示を行なおうとするもので、被焼印物を搬送する手段と、該搬送する手段によって焼印位置まで搬送された被焼印物に焼目を形成する手段と、印型を加熱する手段とから成り、搬送する手段は間欠駆動して被焼印物を焼印位置まで搬送して一旦停止し焼印終了後再び駆動を開始して排出方向へ移送し、上記焼目を形成する手段は印型を被焼印物に圧接して焼目形成するための降下位置と、該印型を加熱する手段によって加熱するための上昇位置との間で該印型を昇降させる印型昇降機構からなる。

【発明の解決しようとする課題】
本発明は上記実情に鑑みてなされたもので、取扱が簡便で、且つ、温度調整が確実にできる焼印装置を開発しようとするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明焼印装置は、表面に文字,図形等を凹凸面に刻設すると共に比透磁率が高く且つ印字可能な硬度を有する物質で形成した印字体を枠体に着脱自在に配列し、該印字体を磁界領域に取り込んで加熱コイルに発生する交番磁界により印字体自身に渦電流を惹起させる加熱装置を配設する。該加熱装置を、交流電流を入力し制御回路と電流変換回路とに直流電流を送る電源回路と、発信回路をコントロールする制御回路と、電力変換回路を駆動する発信回路と、共振コンデンサとトランジスタを含み加熱コイルに高周波電流を流す電力変換回路、及び加熱コイルの温度センサと連通して温度を管理する検地回路とから電気回路を配して加熱部を形成し、該制御回路には、発信回路と電力変換回路の個々のトランジスタに対して、スイッチング時間の周期デューティ比を設定して、複数個の印字体に対応して加熱コイルを分設した加熱コイル毎に温度調整自在に加熱装置を形成し、加熱した印字体を木質材に当接させて焼印することを特徴として構成される。

【実施例】
以下、図面を基に本発明焼印装置の実施例を説明すると、本発明装置は、対象となる木質材に焼印するための印字体10と、その印字体10を一定配列に固定する為の枠体20と、該印字体10を加熱する為の加熱部30と、該枠体20と加熱部30とを収めた上枠40及び下方に木質材を固定する為の固定台50と、上記枠体20に組込まれた印字体10を木質材に押圧するための昇降機構60とから成る。

先ず、図2に示す如く、印字体10は、その材質を後述の加熱部30による電磁誘導を有効ならしめる為、比透磁率が高く、且つ、印字可能な硬度を有する物質、例えば、鉄、磁性ステンレス等で構成する。鉄は、比透磁率が100μsで、電流浸透深さが0.11mmで、表皮抵抗が8.9×10−4Ωであり、430ステンレスは、比透磁率が100μsで、電流浸透深さが0.28mmで、表皮抵抗が21.0×10−4Ωで電磁誘導に適し、且つ、金属体として印字可能な硬度を有する。
該印字体10の表面10aには、ひらがな、カタカナ、ロ−マ字、漢字等の文字、動物、植物等の図形等を表した凹凸面により、メニュ−板、表札、看板等を構成する印字を刻設する。
又、印字体10の裏側10bは、加熱部の電磁誘導を印字体10に有効に働かせる為、後述のプレ−ト31と密接し得る平坦面に形成するのが望ましい。
更に、該印字体10の寸法は、枠体20との関係で組替え自在とする為一定寸法に規格化するのが望ましく、厚みは蓄熱量を考慮して決定する。

次に、枠体20は、上記印字体10を一定間隔及び配列に固定する為のもので、電磁誘導を避けるよう非磁性体のアルミニウム、セラミックス等で形成するのが好ましく、側面に着脱用の係止部21を配設する。
該係止部21は、球形の突起を圧縮バネで出し入れ自在に突設し、一方側壁に嵌合溝を穿設させて、印字体10を着脱自在に形成する。

以上の構成及び作用に基づく本発明装置は、メニュ−札、表札等に印字することができ、一種の焼印印刷手段を提供するものとなり、これら製品にデザイン上の斬新さを呼び起こすことできるという優れた効果を奏する。その際、炎を用いない安全で取扱の簡便な装置で、且つ、印字体自身を誘導加熱するので熱効率が良いと共に鮮明度や濃淡の調整ができ、更に、印字体の交換が容易である等機能性にも極めて優れた特性を発揮する。
