【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a trailer stop lamp connection detection circuit that detects a connection state of a trailer stop lamp when a trailer is connected to a tractor.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The tractor is configured such that front and rear wheels are mounted on a frame extending forward and backward, and a cab is mounted on a front portion. The trailer has a rear wheel mounted on a frame extending forward and backward and a container mounted thereon, and a front end thereof can be connected to a rear portion of the tractor via a kingpin. When a trailer is connected to the tractor, it is necessary to connect the vehicle bodies with each other by a kingpin and also to connect an electric system and an air system.
[0003]
In this case, a stop lamp is provided at the rear end of the tractor and the trailer, and it is stipulated by the law that the tractor stop lamp and the trailer stop lamp are simultaneously turned on when the driver depresses the brake pedal. Therefore, the driver needs to confirm that the tractor stop lamp and the trailer stop lamp are simultaneously turned on when the trailer is connected to the tractor. Conventionally, while the trailer brake lever is operated and held, the trailer stop lamp is visually checked to check for poor connection, disconnection, and broken ball.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the revision of the law prohibits the holding of the trailer brake lever in the operating state, and it has been difficult for the driver to visually check the lighting of the trailer stop lamp. For this reason, two workers are required for checking the connection failure of the electric system, disconnection, broken ball, and the like, and a long working time is required, which causes a problem that the workability is deteriorated.
[0005]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 50-134793 discloses a brake switch for turning on a stop lamp, a changeover switch provided in parallel with the brake switch, and turning on the changeover switch irrespective of the brake switch. A circuit for checking disconnection of a stop lamp for confirming lighting has been proposed. However, this disconnection check circuit checks the disconnection of the stop lamp provided in the passenger car, and does not check whether the trailer stop lamp is lit when the trailer is connected to the tractor. Cannot be applied to trailers. Furthermore, in this disconnection check circuit, the changeover switch is disposed near the stoplight, so if the changeover switch is turned on by mistake or mischief when the vehicle is parked, the stoplight is continuously lit, and This departs from the intended purpose of the stop lamp, which is to notify the vehicle of the braking operation of the vehicle, and not only impairs safety but also wastefully consumes battery power.
[0006]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention solves such a problem, and easily and visually checks the lighting of a trailer stop lamp in a short time, and also prevents wasteful consumption of battery power and safety problems due to erroneous operation of a check switch. It is an object of the present invention to provide a connection detection circuit for a trailer stop lamp.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the connection detection circuit for a trailer stop lamp according to the first aspect of the present invention includes a stop lamp relay for turning on the trailer stop lamp by operating a brake pedal. A self-holding circuit for turning on the stop lamp is provided, and the first check relay of the self-holding circuit is operated by an on operation to operate the self-holding circuit, and the self-holding operation of the self-holding circuit is continued at the neutral position, A check switch for stopping the operation of the self-holding circuit at the off position is provided.
[0008]
Therefore, when the check switch is turned on, the self-holding circuit operates and the trailer stop lamp can be turned on.During this time, by connecting the trailer stop lamp to the battery, the lighting of the trailer stop lamp is visually checked. The connection state, that is, connection failure, disconnection, broken ball, and the like can be detected, and the visual confirmation of the lighting of the trailer stop lamp can be easily performed in a short time. In this case, when the switch is turned on to the neutral position, the operation state of the self-holding circuit is held, and the lighting of the trailer stop lamp can be easily visually checked.
[0009]
In the connection detecting circuit for a trailer stop lamp according to the second aspect of the present invention, a stop lamp extinguishing switch for stopping the operation of the self-holding circuit when the vehicle is running is provided. Therefore, if the vehicle starts after the trailer stop lamp is visually checked, the operation of the self-holding circuit is stopped and the trailer stop lamp is automatically turned off, and the check switch is turned on by mistake while the vehicle is running. Even if the self-holding circuit does not operate, the stop lamp for the trailer does not light up, so that a safety problem due to erroneous lighting of the stop lamp can be prevented.
[0010]
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

By connecting a trailer stop lamp, It is possible to visually check the lighting of the stop lamp for the trailer to detect the connection status, that is, poor connection, disconnection, broken ball, etc.It is possible to easily check the lighting of the stop lamp for the trailer visually in a short time. In this case, when the switch is turned on to the neutral position, the operation state of the self-holding circuit is held, and the lighting of the trailer stop lamp can be easily checked visually.

According to the connection detection circuit for the trailer stop lamp according to the second aspect of the present invention, the stop lamp extinguishing switch for stopping the operation of the self-holding circuit when the vehicle is running is provided. When the vehicle starts moving, the self-holding circuit stops operating and the trailer stop lamp automatically turns off, and even if the check switch is accidentally turned on while the vehicle is running, the self-holding circuit does not operate and the trailer stops. The stop lamp is not turned on, and a safety problem due to the erroneous lighting of the stop lamp can be prevented.
