【発明が解決しようとする課題】

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に本発明の一実施形態を図に基づいて説明する。図1に示すように、本発明の溶接ガン支持装置2は、フロア4上に水平に置かれた基盤6を有する。この基盤6の上面には2本の第1垂直軸8が左右対称位置に配設され、第1垂直軸8の上端に水平な架台10が支持されている。架台10の周縁部には複数のクランプ12が配設され、これらクランプ12によって自動車用パネル材14の周縁部が固定されている。

【発明の効果】
本発明は前述した如く、溶接ガンGを任意三次元方向に軽い力で移動可能としたものであるから、楽な姿勢で能率良く溶接作業を行なうことができる。また、溶接ガン支持装置の基部となる第1垂直軸をワークの下方に配設したので、ワーク周囲に邪魔になるものがなく、ワークの全周に広い作業スペースを確保することができて、作業者が溶接ガンGを手で押して移動させつつワーク周囲の任意の溶接部位に迅速に回り込んで溶接作業を行なうことができる。
