TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for effectively utilizing roadside wireless communication resources such as a wireless band and a channel in communication between a vehicle and a service provider performing a service such as a traffic information providing service or a tourist information providing service. The vehicles are grouped into one logical group (vehicle group), only the representative vehicle is permitted to use the roadside wireless communication equipment, other vehicles in the vehicle group are connected to the representative vehicle via inter-vehicle communication, and the representative vehicle is connected. The present invention relates to a network-driven vehicle group forming communication system related to effective use of roadside wireless equipment for communicating with a service provider by using a used roadside wireless communication system.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Currently, cellular is used as a means for communicating with a service provider in order to receive an Internet connection and a tourist information providing service while in a vehicle. Since cellular is capable of one-to-one communication and continuous communication, it is possible to provide information according to each user's request, and the number of users will increase rapidly in the future. it is conceivable that. In addition to providing large-capacity information such as sightseeing information, it is expected that services that transmit and receive relatively small information at a high frequency, such as the provision of safe driving support information and the collection of floating car information, will start. You. When the number of service users increases or when the concentration of vehicles (congestion) occurs, there is a possibility that the number of users who can provide the service and the quality of the service may decrease due to a shortage of wireless channel resources.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
At present, it is considered to provide safe driving support information and collect traffic information by communicating with a running vehicle. In providing the safe driving support information, the service provider needs to know the detailed vehicle position, so the vehicle frequently reports information such as the vehicle position and the traveling direction to the service provider. Also, in the case of traffic information collection, movement information such as the position, speed, and traveling direction of the vehicle is reported to the traffic control center relatively frequently. Vehicle location information, etc., is smaller in volume than tourist information including images, etc., but is transmitted more frequently, so if vehicles are concentrated, competition will frequently occur due to the use of radio channels of roadside wireless communication equipment. Conceivable. Practical use of IMT-2000 as a multi-channel communication medium at higher speeds is being promoted, and if realized, the number of available channels will increase dramatically. However, if a specific service occupies the radio resources of the roadside communication equipment, it may hinder general voice communication and data communication. Therefore, it is necessary to find a method for suppressing the occupation rate of the roadside radio communication equipment resources without lowering the quality of service.
