Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a decorative board used for buildings, furniture, housing equipment, and the like, and a method for manufacturing the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, decorative veneers used for buildings, furniture, housing equipment, and the like, high-grade veneers with natural precious wood veneers pasted on the surface of a wooden base material have been used. Since they are expensive and difficult to provide a uniform color pattern, recently, a sheet in which a wood pattern is printed is stuck to the surface of these substrates, so that it has come to be used in many cases.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, for example, when a pattern obtained by combining a wood grain pattern of the same color as shown in FIG. 2 is to be used for the surface decoration of a decorative board, if there is no printing plate having such a wood grain pattern, a new plate must be manufactured. Must. For this reason, there is a disadvantage that the cost is increased if the wood pattern is not a wood grain pattern that can be expected to be mass-produced in proportion to the plate manufacturing cost.
[0004]
Further, in the case of a combination of different tree species, for example, in a case where the frame portion of four rounds in the grain pattern of FIG. There is. That is, in the case of a woodgrain pattern in which two or more wood species are combined, in order to print each of the wood species so as to have a true-to-life color tone, three to three printing inks each having a color most suitable for each of the two wood species are used. Four colors are required. If the grain pattern is a combination of two tree species, a total of 6 to 8 printing inks are required. Since a normal printing machine prints three or four colors, for example, if you try to make Sakura look like a real color, the Oak will be half-tone, and it is difficult to print both in a true-like color It is.
[0005]
As a solution, there is a method of cutting and pasting an existing printed sheet that has been printed separately, but the work of sticking it without eyes has to rely on manual work, which not only does not improve efficiency, but also is very dexterous If you are not a good craftsman, you can not finish beautifully without blindness.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
As a result of intensive studies, the present inventor has solved the above problem by the method described below.
[0007]
For example, in the woodgrain pattern of the decorative board shown in FIG. 2, a case will be described in which the frames a and b of four rounds are straight grain of oak and the central part c is cherry tree grain.
[0008]
First, a transfer printing sheet of a straight grain pattern of oak corresponding to the frames a and b and a plate pattern of cherry tree corresponding to the central portion c is prepared. Then, the transfer printing sheets are converted into transfer printing sheets A, B, and C having dimensions slightly larger than the respective dimensions of a, b, and c in both the vertical and horizontal directions, that is, the total lengths of the predetermined dimensions in both the vertical and horizontal directions. Cut it out.
[0009]
Next, as shown in FIG. 5, the transfer printing sheets A, B, and C are placed at predetermined positions on a base material such as a plywood or a fiberboard while overlapping the pattern boundaries in this order. At this time, the end of each transfer printing sheet in FIG. 5 is placed so as to coincide with the boundary lines DD ′, EE ′, FF ′, and GG ′ between the patterns in FIG. In the state shown in FIG. 5, the transfer printing sheet is hot-pressed by a hot press or the like to be adhered to the base material, and after the hot-press bonding, the base sheet of the transfer printing sheet is peeled off from the top, that is, in the order of C, B, and A. Then, a decorative board to which the grain pattern of FIG. 2 is transferred is obtained. The size of the transfer printing sheet A to be placed first may be the same as the size of the grain pattern a placed on the decorative board in FIG. 2, but the work having a slightly larger total size is easier to work.
[0010]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The transfer printing sheet includes a sheet having an adhesive layer formed by pre-coating an adhesive beforehand and a sheet not having been pre-coated. If a pre-coated material is used, it is not necessary to apply the adhesive to the substrate or the transfer printing sheet, but the amount of the adhesive applied by the pre-coat is usually not so large, so that the wooden material which is easy to absorb the adhesive is used. When a base material is used, it is preferable to use an adhesive applied to the surface of the base material. In particular, when transfer printing is performed on an uneven base material surface such as a furniture door shown in FIG. 4, the adhesive force of the adhesive has an effect of temporarily bonding the transfer printing sheet to the base material. Of the sheet, and consequently the transfer printing can be prevented.
[0011]
Therefore, even when a transfer printing sheet pre-coated with an adhesive is used, it is better to apply the adhesive to the substrate surface or sheet surface before use.
[0012]
Also, instead of placing the transfer printing sheets on the base material in order, placing the cut transfer printing sheets in advance in the order of A, B, and C with an adhesive and placing them on the base material It may be hot-pressed. In the case as shown in FIG. 5, it is not necessary to apply an adhesive to the entire portion where the transfer printing sheets overlap, and to assemble them. This is sufficient because the overall shape of the printed sheet does not collapse.
[0013]
As shown in FIG. 4, the same method as described above may be applied to the case where the substrate surface is subjected to three-dimensional processing with irregularities. However, because of the irregularities, misalignment is likely to occur during hot pressing. In such a case, the transfer printing sheet C in the central portion is cut into the same size as the portion c in the decorative board in FIG. 4 and, as shown in FIG. . Then, the transfer printing sheet A, which has been cut into a slightly wider dimension than the portion a in the decorative board of FIG. 4 in advance, is placed on DD-, EE-, FF-, G- At the same time as the boundary of G ', the transfer printing sheet C is temporarily bonded with an adhesive, and finally the transfer printing sheet B is placed on top and bonded by hot pressing.
[0014]
If the transfer printing sheet B is not temporarily adhered to the transfer printing sheets A or C, a slight misalignment occurs. However, since the misalignment does not cause a misalignment at the boundary between the patterns, a sufficient total length should be taken. It is good.
[0015]
The apparatus used for hot-press bonding may be a flat hot press when the base material is a flat base material. However, in the case of a base material having irregularities as shown in FIG. Since the transfer printing sheet is bonded to the curved surface by heat and pressure, the equipment used for heat and pressure is a vacuum press that can adapt the transfer printing sheet even to the steps and uneven surface of the overlapping part of the transfer printing sheet Must be used. The vicinity of the corner P in the cross-sectional view of the lower diagram of FIG. 4 is a portion where pressure is hardly applied even by a vacuum press, and the transfer leakage of the pattern of the transfer printing sheet is likely to occur, but if the method shown in FIG. Since the pattern transfer printing sheet is located at the bottom where three sheets overlap, sufficient pressure is applied and transfer leakage can be prevented.
[0016]
FIG. 3 shows a cross section of the frames after the transfer printing sheet has been hot-pressed and in the vicinity of the boundary between the frames and the central portion. The three overlapping portions are basically the same as FIG. 3 except that there is one more transfer printing sheet on FIG.
[0017]
3 and 1, a hatched portion f is a base sheet of the transfer printing sheet and is made of paper or film. The solid portion g is solid printing, and the black portion h is pattern printing. The base material of the decorative board is k, and the adhesive is e.
[0018]
After the transfer printing sheet is hot-pressed, the paper or film as the base material of the transfer printing sheet is peeled off, and a decorative board having the wood pattern of FIG. 2 printed on the base material is completed. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view showing the vicinity of the border of the handle when the transfer printing sheet is peeled off. In FIG. 1, at the border of the handle, the adhesive layer appears on the surface. However, the adhesive layer is extremely thin and is almost invisible unless a coloring agent is mixed into the adhesive. Also, even if it looks slightly, there is no problem in terms of aesthetics because it is a boundary between patterns.
[0019]
The plate-like base material in the present invention is not only solid wood but also a wood base material such as plywood, hard board, particle board, LVL, MDF (medium fiber board) or a combination of these wood base materials. In some cases, an inorganic substrate such as a gypsum board or a calcium silicate plate can be used. In short, any plate-like base material used for furniture and construction may be used. Further, a three-dimensional surface with unevenness as shown in FIG. 4 may be processed. In FIG. 4, the lower figure is a sectional view taken along line XX '.
[0020]
Speaking of the base sheet for transfer printing, it is not necessary for the base sheet to expand and contract when printing a pattern on the sheet. Therefore, a base sheet that does not easily deform such as expansion and contraction should be used. In the practice of the present invention, a material that easily expands by heat applied during transfer printing and adapts to an uneven surface is suitable. In particular, when the surface of the base material has been subjected to three-dimensional surface processing with irregularities, the transfer printing sheet needs to be easily stretched by hot pressure and adapted to the irregular surface.
[0021]
Even when the base material has a smooth surface, as shown in FIG. 3, near the border of the handle, there is a slight step between the portion where the base material sheet is hot-pressed while being doubled and the one portion. Therefore, it is better to adopt a material that easily expands by heat and adapts to the uneven surface. For the above reasons, a heat-softening synthetic resin film such as vinyl chloride is most suitable for the base sheet of the transfer printing sheet.
[0022]
As a device used for heat and pressure, it is preferable to use a vacuum press that can adapt the transfer printing sheet even to a step or uneven surface.
[0023]
The woodgrain pattern printed on the transfer printing sheet usually includes two printing layers, that is, a solid printing layer that shows the ground color of the wood and a pattern printing layer that shows the woodgrain pattern. Further, there is also a printer in which a top coat layer is provided for protecting and enhancing the printing surface after transfer printing. The thickness of solid printing may be very thin. In a normal case, the underlayer can be almost completely concealed if the print layer has a thickness of about 5/1000 mm.
[0024]
The woodgrain pattern printed by the transfer printing sheet can usually cover the base almost completely by the solid printing layer as described above. However, as a special transfer printing method, the color of the base In order to take advantage of the above, printing that does not sufficiently cover the base partially or entirely may be adopted. Also in the present invention, if it is desired to make use of the color of the base, it is not necessary to use a material that can sufficiently hide the base.
[0025]
Transfer printing sheets include those that have an adhesive layer formed by pre-coating an adhesive and those that have not been pre-coated. It is not necessary to apply the adhesive, but as described above, it is better to apply the adhesive to the substrate surface or the transfer printing sheet before use. In particular, when transfer printing is performed on a substrate surface having irregularities as shown in FIG. 4, the adhesive force of the adhesive has an effect of temporarily adhering the transfer printing sheet to the substrate, thereby preventing the sheet from being displaced by heat and pressure. As a result, a shift in transfer printing can be prevented. Therefore, even when a transfer printing sheet pre-coated with an adhesive is used, it is better to apply the adhesive to the substrate or the sheet surface before use.
[0026]
An adhesive having good adhesion to the ink of the transfer printing sheet is used. Usually, a vinyl acetate resin type or a urethane resin type is used. In the basic configuration of the transfer printing sheet, each layer is arranged on a base sheet in the order of a release layer, a grain pattern printing layer, and a solid printing layer. In some cases, a protective top coat layer is inserted between the release layer and the pattern printing layer, or an adhesive layer is inserted on the solid printing layer as described above.
[0027]
In the example of FIG. 2, the order of stacking the transfer printing sheets is A, B, and C. However, for convenience, the order is only A, B, and C. Adoption does not hinder the implementation of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 4, when a substrate having a three-dimensional uneven pattern on the surface is used, the transfer printing sheet to be transferred and printed on the portion where pressure is least likely to be applied during hot pressing is superimposed on the bottom. For example, as described above, sufficient pressure is applied to that portion to prevent printing leakage. In short, the order should be appropriately changed in consideration of the size of the intended decorative plate, work efficiency, transfer omission, and the like.
[0028]
As for the printed pattern, the present invention is not limited to the wood grain pattern, and can be applied to any pattern including a plain colored pattern. Therefore, the use of the present invention covers a wide variety such as a combination of a wood grain pattern and a plain or marble pattern.
[0029]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, since a pattern can be created by combining various existing transfer printing sheets, it is not necessary to create a printing plate for each pattern. Therefore, even a decorative board having a pattern that can be expected to produce only a small amount can be manufactured at low cost. Also, for example, in the case of a combination pattern of cherry and oak with a wood pattern, even if a printing sheet plate of the combination pattern is prepared and a printing sheet is manufactured, a normal printing machine is a three- to four-color printing machine. The printing ink of the most suitable color for each tree species cannot be used.
[0030]
Therefore, if the ink is adjusted to the color tone of one of the tree species, the color tone of the other tree species will be incomplete. Since the present invention can use a transfer printing sheet on which both wood patterns are separately printed, the above-mentioned drawbacks are eliminated, the patterns are exactly the same as the real ones, and the borders between the patterns are beautiful without any gaps. A simple decorative board can be manufactured.
[0031]
Further, the present invention mainly combines an existing transfer printing sheet with an existing technology such as a vacuum press, and does not depend on a dexterous craftsmanship at all.
