【0050】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a game system using a computer, and more particularly to a game system in which a plurality of players play.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in a game system in which a plurality of players such as a board game, a card game, golf, and a mahjong are played in order by a computer, naturally, the player who turns around plays and the player finishes playing. Thereafter, control is performed so that the next player in the next order plays.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When proceeding with such a game, it is only necessary to control the player to play in a predetermined order, but the present inventors have set up a game system that allows the game to proceed according to its own rules, aiming for unexpectedness. I decided to develop it and came to recognize the following problems. For example, while a board game is in progress, it is assumed that an arbitrary player can enter a battle game mode different from the normal board game play mode and enjoy the battle game between the players. At this time, the player who is in the battle mode can enjoy the battle game, but the other players must wait until the battle mode ends. In this case, the unique rules introduced with the aim of improving entertainment can halve the interest of players waiting for the end of the battle mode.
[0004]
There is no problem as long as the time required for the battle mode is relatively short and the waiting time is not so worrisome, but in order to play a full-fledged fighting game where the waiting time of other players becomes a problem, other players It is necessary to devise so as not to bore you.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a game system capable of proceeding with a plurality of play modes in parallel. Another object of the present invention is to provide a technique for improving the entertainment of a game system in which a plurality of players play sequentially.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve such a problem, in the present invention, during the progress of the first mode in which a plurality of players play sequentially, a player who has entered a second mode in which play is different from the first mode occurs. In this case, the first mode and the second mode are advanced in parallel. In the first mode, the player who is playing in the second mode is skipped, and the player who is playing in the first mode. Let's play in order.
[0007]
The control technique described above includes a first control unit that controls a first mode in which a plurality of players play in order, and a second mode in which at least one of the plurality of players plays differently from the first mode. And a second control unit that controls the game machine. In this game apparatus, when the player who should play in the first mode is playing in the second mode, the first controller skips the player and causes the next player to play.

The winner of the mini-game in the “match mode” is awarded a prize money equivalent to the player's money. Also, every mini game player is given a card with various functions or attributes. As described above, the player can obtain some profit by participating in the “matching mode”. The main play mode, “Sugoroku Mode”, is not a game for the end of the goal, but a game that competes for some of the money at the end of the game. Participating in the “Competition Mode” and skipping the “Sugoroku Mode” play order does not necessarily lead to a disadvantage. The player may select whether to continue playing in “Sugoroku Mode” or participate in “Battle Mode” depending on the situation.

In S102, when the player to be played next is playing in the “competition mode” (Y in S102), the “Sugoroku mode” play (S104 and S106) is skipped, and the process proceeds to S110. Then, the player ID of the next play order is set in the PID, and the process returns to S102, where it is determined whether or not the player is in a battle, and if it is not in a battle, the play of “Sugoroku Mode” is advanced.

FIG. 5 shows an example of a map used in the “Sugoroku mode”. A map configured in a loop shape by a plurality of cells is displayed.
[0039]
FIG. 6 shows an example of the “Sugoroku Mode” screen. At the top of the screen, there are columns for displaying each player's money, wallet contents, status, and the like. A part of the map is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Player “A” is stopped on the “money” box of “1 yen coin”, and player “B” is stopped on the “savings” box. A state of waving is displayed. In this way, when each player's turn turns, each player plays, such as rolling a dice, using a card, filling a card, and so on, and advances the map.
[0040]
FIG. 7 shows the player stopping at the “money” box. When the player “C” stops at the “money” box of “1 yen coin”, the number of coins remaining in the box is displayed and a screen for accepting the number of coins to be picked up is presented. Here, when the number of coins picked up by the player is instructed, a one-yen coin is added to the wallet of the player “C” by that number.
[0041]
FIG. 8 shows a state where the player has stopped at the square in which the card is embedded. Player “B” has stopped at “money” box of “5-yen coin”, but player “A” has embedded “anytime savings” card in this box, so player “B” has changed to “ 100 yen is given to "A".
[0042]
FIG. 9 shows a state in which an event according to time has occurred. Currently, the date is “December 24th”, but since this day is “Christmas Eve”, an event corresponding to that is occurring.
[0043]
FIG. 10 shows an example of a screen in which two players are playing in the “battle mode”. The player “A” and the player “C” shift to the battle mode and play a battle-type mini game. At this time, the screen for the mini game is displayed in the window on the left side of the screen, and the screen for the normal “Sugaroku mode” is continuously displayed in the other portions. Since the player “B” and the player “D” are not in a match, the two players play “Sugoroku Mode” alternately until the end of the mini-game.
[0044]
FIG. 11 shows an example of a screen in which three players are playing in the “battle mode”. The player “A”, the player “C”, and the player “D” have transitioned to the “battle mode”, and only the player “B” is playing in the “Sugoroku mode”. At this time, in “Sugoroku Mode”, player “B” plays continuously.
[0045]
FIG. 12 shows an example of a screen in which four players are playing in the “battle mode”. Since all the players have shifted to the “competition mode” and there is no player who plays “Sugoroku mode”, the entire screen is used for the “competition mode”. FIG. 13 shows an example of a screen in which four players are divided into two players and playing in the “battle mode”. In the window on the left side of the screen, the player “C” and the player “D” are competing, and in the window on the right side of the screen, the player “A” and the player “B” are competing. Playing in "Sugoroku Mode" will be resumed from the two who finished earlier.

[0048]
In the embodiment, the case where the loop-shaped map is circulated in the “Sugoroku mode” has been described, but in another example, the map may be a one-way map in which a start and a goal are provided, or two or more It may be configured to go back and forth between the maps.
[0049]
In the embodiment, as an example of the first mode, a case where a superb game is played has been described, but there is no particular limitation as long as a plurality of players play in order, for example, mahjong, golf, card game, Board games etc. are mentioned. In addition, as an example of the second mode, a case where a battle-type mini game is performed has been described, but any other game may be used.
