【0031】
Hi Vi =hi vi
【0039】
Ki (s)=km i ×Gsi (s)/Gvi−1 (s)

【Technical field】
The present invention relates to a thickness control technique for a continuous rolling mill, and particularly to controlling a rolled material thickness quickly and stably to a target thickness at the initial stage of rolling or when changing a target thickness. The present invention relates to a thickness control method and a thickness control device that can be used.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in a rolling process using a continuous rolling mill, the thickness of a rolled material is one of the most important management items in terms of product quality, and thickness control is performed so as to obtain a target thickness. The thickness control is performed, for example, by adjusting the roll gap of the rolling stand. However, depending on the method of providing the target thickness, the rolling mill load increases due to a change in rolling conditions or the like, or exceeds the rolling load limit, The load efficiency of the electric motor for driving the rolling mill may be exceeded, and the production efficiency may be impaired or the rolling may be stopped, which may cause a decrease in productivity.
[0003]
Therefore, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-71626 discloses that in each rolling stand in a continuous rolling mill, the outlet plate thickness is calculated using a known mass flow method, and the outlet plate thickness of each rolling stand is set to a target value and a target value. By performing feedback control so as to appropriately distribute the load to each rolling stand and avoid a significant change operation of the roll gap in one rolling stand, it is possible to stabilize the sheet surface quality and operability. A method for controlling the thickness of a sheet is disclosed.
[0004]
However, even in such a conventional thickness control method, there is still a case where the limitation of the rolling mill load due to the operation of changing the roll gap in controlling the exit side thickness of the rolling stand is not sufficiently prevented. .
[0005]
Further, in the conventional plate thickness control method, it is extremely difficult to independently adjust the response to the disturbance and the response to the target plate thickness. However, it has been difficult to improve the responsiveness to the target thickness at the beginning of rolling or when the target thickness is changed.
[0006]
In addition, in a continuous rolling mill having a plurality of rolling stands, the control target is generally a multivariable and interference system, and by adjusting the roll gap for controlling the thickness, the tension between stands also changes. This could adversely affect the dimensions, surface quality, and the like of the rolled material, and hinder the stabilization of operations.
[0007]
[Solution]
Here, the inventions described in
[0008]
In any of the first to fifth aspects of the present invention, the adverse effect on the rolling operation caused by the change in the tension between stands caused by the adjustment of the roll gap for controlling the thickness of the sheet is advantageously reduced or prevented. It is another object of the present invention to provide a method or apparatus for controlling the thickness of the obtained continuous rolling mill.
[0009]
[Solution]
In order to solve such a problem, the invention according to claim 1 adjusts the roll gap so that the delivery-side sheet thickness of the rolled material in the continuous rolling mill becomes the set or changed target sheet thickness. When performing the thickness control, a comparison value that becomes a target thickness with a predetermined time delay is used, a deviation amount between the comparison value and the detected thickness value is obtained, and a roll necessary to cancel the deviation amount is obtained. A control signal is obtained by obtaining a gap adjustment amount, adding a target value that becomes a target plate thickness with a predetermined time delay to the roll gap adjustment amount, and adjusting the roll gap based on the control signal. On the other hand, by adjusting the roll rotation speed of the upstream rolling stand based on a tension compensation signal obtained by multiplying the control signal by a predetermined time delay, the roll gap adjustment is performed. The thickness control method in suppressing continuous rolling mill tension variation caused by, characterized.
[0010]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the adjustment of the roll gap for obtaining the target sheet thickness is performed by feedback control based on two-degree-of-freedom control, and the comparison value is determined based on the target sheet thickness. In addition, by adjusting the transfer characteristic when obtaining the target value, the responsiveness to the target plate thickness can be adjusted and set, and the transfer characteristic when obtaining the roll gap adjustment amount based on the deviation amount is adjusted. Thus, the responsiveness to the disturbance can be adjusted and set, so that the responsiveness to the target plate thickness and the responsiveness to the disturbance can be set independently of each other.
[0011]
Therefore, it is possible to adjust the roll gap so as to reach the target thickness with an arbitrary response while adjusting the response to the target thickness while securing the response to the disturbance. Responsiveness to thickness can be achieved.
[0012]
In addition, according to the method of the present invention, the roll rotation speed is adjusted in accordance with the adjustment amount of the roll gap for obtaining the target thickness, so that the roll gap at the beginning of rolling or when the target thickness is changed is changed. Since the variation in tension due to the change in tension is suppressed, it is possible to arbitrarily set the responsiveness to the target plate thickness while securing stable rolling properties without considering the adverse effect on the variation in tension. .
[0013]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for controlling a thickness of a continuous rolling mill according to the first aspect of the present invention. It is characterized in that the exit side plate thickness is obtained, and the thickness control is performed by adjusting the roll gap of each stand so that the exit side plate thickness of each stand becomes the target plate thickness.
[0014]
According to the invention method as described in
[0015]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the method for controlling a thickness of a continuous rolling mill according to the first or second aspect of the present invention, the rolling load in each stand or the current of the electric motor for driving the roll is set to a predetermined limit value. The target thickness is changed when the value exceeds.
[0016]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, when the target plate thickness is changed in order to avoid exceeding the load limit of the rolling mill due to the excessive rolling operation of the roll gap, the changed target thickness is used. Appropriate responsiveness can be set for the plate thickness, and stable productivity can be advantageously secured.
[0017]
The invention according to claim 4 relates to a sheet thickness control device in a continuous rolling mill made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and the feature thereof is that (a) a rolled material in a continuous rolling mill. (B) first calculating means for obtaining a comparison value with a predetermined time delay from the target sheet thickness given by the target sheet thickness setting means; Comparing means for comparing the comparison value obtained by the first calculation means with the detected thickness of the rolled material to obtain a deviation amount; and (d) necessity for canceling the deviation amount obtained by the comparison means. (E) third calculating means for obtaining a target value which reaches the target thickness provided by the target thickness setting means with a predetermined time delay, and (f) third calculating means for obtaining a target value provided by the target thickness setting means. Determined by the second computing means Adding means for obtaining a roll gap control signal by adding the target value obtained by the third calculating means to the roll gap adjustment amount; and (g) adding the roll gap control signal obtained by the adding means to the roll gap control signal. By multiplying the roll gap by a predetermined time delay, the roll rotation speed in the upstream rolling stand is adjusted, and the tension that suppresses the tension fluctuation of the rolled material caused by the roll gap change based on the roll gap control signal is controlled. And a fourth calculating means for obtaining a compensation signal.
[0018]
In the sheet thickness control device having the structure according to the fourth aspect of the present invention, the response to the target sheet thickness is determined by the time delay amount in the first calculation means and the time delay amount in the third calculation means. Can be adjusted, and the response to disturbance can be adjusted by setting the gain in the second calculation means. Therefore, the response to the target plate thickness and the response to the disturbance are independent of each other. In addition, by adjusting the roll rotation speed based on the tension compensation signal obtained by the fourth calculating means, a change in the roll gap is prevented from being adversely affected.
[0019]
Therefore, in such a thickness control device, it is possible to advantageously obtain the responsiveness to the target thickness while securing the responsiveness to the disturbance and the stable rolling property.
[0020]
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the sheet thickness control device in the continuous rolling mill having the structure according to the fourth aspect of the present invention, the detected thickness of the rolled material is calculated based on a mass flow thickness equation. It is characterized by having a thickness measuring means to be obtained.
[0021]
In the continuous rolling mill having the structure according to the fifth aspect, it is not necessary to install a thickness gauge on each stand, and the thickness is measured only by the thickness gauge on the exit side of the final stand. Based on the thickness formula, it is possible to obtain the plate thickness on the exit side of each stand.
[0022]
Therefore, the number of expensive thickness gauges can be reduced, and the price of the apparatus can be reduced, the structure can be simplified, the maintenance can be improved, and the like.
[0023]

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail based on specific configuration examples of the present invention.
[0024]
First, FIG. 1 shows a schematic model of a continuous rolling mill to which a thickness control device configured according to the present invention is applied, and FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing a schematic configuration of the thickness control device. It is shown. The continuous rolling mill shown in FIG. 1 is a continuous rolling mill provided with a plurality of rolling stands, and only the

In this case, the actual delivery thickness value tc at each stand 10 can be theoretically calculated based on a mass flow equation, although a thickness gauge can be installed on the delivery side of each stand 10. In particular, in the hot rolling mill, since the thickness gauge is installed on the exit side of the final stand, the actual thickness value of the exit side thickness in each stand 10 using the actual measurement value of the thickness gauge: tc Is advantageously calculated. More specifically, since the mass flow equation is represented as the following (Equation 2), the roll rotation signal: R1 of the

In this case, by adjusting the transfer characteristics in the

[0043]
Hereinafter, examples of the present invention will be described. However, the present invention is not to be construed as being limited to the specific description based on the examples and the specific configuration examples described above. Based on the knowledge of the present invention, various changes, modifications, improvements, and the like can be carried out, and any of such embodiments does not depart from the spirit of the present invention. It is needless to say that they are included in.
[0044]
【Example】
Using a thickness control device having a structure according to the specific configuration example described above, a simulation in which the thickness control in the initial stage of rolling was performed in a four-stand tandem rolling mill was performed under the conditions shown in the following (Table 1). Was. The thickness control was started when the rolled material bit into the final stand. The initial disturbance was such that the thickness error of the first stand (most upstream side stand) entrance side plate thickness was 1 mm, and when the rolling load was limited during rolling, the first stand exit side target plate thickness was increased by 50 μm. The time constant: T FF in the first computing unit was specified to be 10 seconds. The result is shown in FIG.
[0045]
[0046]
As is clear from the results shown in FIG. 7, the variation in tension between stands after the start of the thickness control and the change of the target thickness is advantageously suppressed. It can be seen that the stand exit side thickness is advantageously controlled with the specified responsiveness towards the changed thickness target value, thereby reducing the rolling load in the first stand.
[0047]
On the other hand, as a comparative example of the present invention, FIG. 8 shows a simulation result in a case where PI feedback control with one degree of freedom is performed in a rolling operation by the same rolling mill as the above-described embodiment. In this comparative example, compared to the result of the example shown in FIG. 7, the tension variation between the stands after the start of the thickness control is large, and the responsiveness to the target thickness cannot be specified even after the target thickness is changed. For this reason, it is clear from FIG. 8 that it takes time to reach the target plate thickness.
[0048]
【The invention's effect】
As is apparent from the above description, in each of the invention methods according to
[0049]
In addition, thereby, it is possible to advantageously secure the degree of freedom in load distribution of each stand in the rolling mill while securing the thickness accuracy and the surface quality under excellent rolling stability. The efficiency can be advantageously improved.
[0050]
Further, in the plate thickness control device according to the fourth or fifth aspect of the present invention, the method of the present invention can be advantageously implemented, and the transfer characteristics of the first and third computing units can be improved. By adjusting the response, it is possible to arbitrarily set the response to the target value and the response to the disturbance independently. Can be advantageously secured, and quick and stable thickness control can be achieved.
