包装機の搬出側に配置して包装物のチェックから箱詰めに致る一連の作業を連続して行なう装置については、例えば本出願人が特開平7−81749号公報で開示した装置のように、包装機から排出されてきた包装物に対し、はじめに充填量が適正であるか否かを検査し、その結果により、つぎのコンベアに設けたゲートを開閉操作して異常な包装物を放出し、さらに、反転機構により印刷面が上を向くように包装物を反転させて、箱詰め機構のもとへ送るように構成している。

このため、この種の装置では、検査機構のあとに異常な包装物を放出する機構と、正常な包装物を反転する機構を設ける必要があって、搬送経路をいたずらに長大化させるばかりでなく、装置が複雑化して、製作費、保守費を嵩ませてしまうといった問題を有している。

本発明はこのような問題に鑑みてなされたもので、その目的とするところは、異常物品の放出と、所要の移載動作を簡単かつ単一の機構によって実現することのできる新たな装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
すなわち、本発明はこのような課題を達成するための移載装置として、検査手段を備えた検査用コンベアとこの下手側の搬送コンベアとの間に、搬送コンベア側を支点として検査用コンベアからの受入れ位置から搬送コンベアへの移載位置へ揺動変位する移載部材を配設するとともに、検査手段からの正常信号により、物品が移載部材へ乗り移るまでの時間をおいて移載部材を受入れ位置から移載位置へ変位させ、異常信号により、移載部材を受入れ位置から直ちに移載位置へ変位させる駆動手段を設けるようにしたものである。

いま、正規の重量を有する包装物Wが検査用ベルト10のもとへ送り込まれ、重量検出用スケール11から正常を意味する信号が出力すると、エアシリンダ8は、図3(a)に示したように、包装物Wが少なくとも半分以上検査用コンベア10から受け3に乗り移るまでの時間tをおいて受け3を跳ね上げる。
これにより、包装物Wは同図(b)に示したように立上り片6を支点として図中反時計方向に反転し、印刷面を上にして搬送コンベア15上に移載される。
