本発明は、電解水生成装置によって生成されるアルカリ性水及び酸性水を用いて植物を洗浄殺菌するための植物の洗浄殺菌方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
植物の葉の表面は、個体の保護、水分の調節等のために、リーフワックスをはじめとする中性エステルで覆われている。この中性エステルは、撥水性を有しているため、殺菌に際して薬剤のみを使用すると、薬剤が、リーフワックスによって保護されている細菌に効果的に機能しない。したがって、一般的には、展着剤(界面活性剤)等を利用して撥水性に対処している。

ところで、上記した薬剤や展着剤は薬害のおそれがあるものであり、使用しないことが望ましい。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、植物に対する薬害のおそれがないアルカリ性水及び酸性水を用いた植物の洗浄殺菌方法に関する。本発明に係る植物の洗浄殺菌方法は、水を電解分解する電解槽にて生成されるアルカリ性水及び酸性水を用いた植物の洗浄殺菌方法であり、植物に前記アルカリ性水を20℃〜60℃の加温状態で噴霧した後前記酸性水を噴霧することにより、当該植物を洗浄殺菌することを特徴とするものである。

【発明の作用効果】
本発明に係る洗浄殺菌方法においては、植物にアルカリ性水及び酸性水を噴霧するに当たって、先ず、20℃〜60℃の範囲の所定の温度に加温した状態のアルカリ性水を植物に噴霧し、次いで、当該植物に酸性水を噴霧するものである。アルカリ性水の噴霧では、植物自体を熱によって傷めることなく、植物の表面を覆っているリーフワークをはじめとする中性エステルを脂肪酸と高級アるコールに的確に分解することができる。また、その後の酸性水の噴霧では、同酸性水が有する殺菌力によって、当該植物の葉の表面に付着している細菌を的確に殺菌処理することができる。

また、本発明の洗浄殺菌方法で採用しているアルカリ性水及び酸性水は、電気分解によって得られたものであり、薬剤や展着剤を一切使用しないため薬害が発生することがないとともに、使用したアルカリ性水と酸性水は使用後に混合されて中和されるため、環境への影響も殆どなく実施することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に本発明の実施形態を図面に基づいて説明する。
図1は電解水生成装置Aを概略的に示していて、この電解水生成装置Aは、有隔膜の電解槽10内に供給管20を介して供給される食塩水を同電解槽10内に収容された陽極11及び陰極12間にて電気分解して酸性水(pH2〜6で好ましくはpH5,有効塩素濃度10〜100ppmで好ましくは30ppm)とアルカリ性水(pH11〜12で好ましくはpH11.5)を生成するもので、生成された酸性水及びアルカリ性水はそれぞれ導出管14,15を介して導出されるようになっている。陽極11及び陰極12は、電解槽10内に隔膜13をはさんで対向配置されていて、それぞれ電源装置(図示省略)に接続されている。また、導出管15にはヒータ16が設けられていて、このヒータ16によって、同導出管15を流れるアルカリ性水が20℃〜60℃間の任意温度(適宜設定可能)に温められるようになっている。

供給管20は、上流側にて軟水器Mを介装した接続管31を介して水道管(図示省略)に接続されるとともに、下流側にて分岐管20a,20bに分岐してそれぞれ電解槽10に接続されており、上流側に設けた給水弁(常閉型の電磁開閉弁)21より下流側には濃塩水供給装置22が接続されている。濃塩水供給装置22は、供給管20にほぼ飽和状態の濃塩水を圧送混合するための装置であり、水道水と濃塩水が混合されることによって所定濃度の食塩水が電解槽10に供給されるようになっている。

上記のように構成した電解水生成装置によれば、酸性水とアルカリ性水が生成でき、アルカリ性水を被処理植物に噴霧して使用すれば、熱によって被処理植物の個体そのものを傷めることがなく被処理植物の表面を覆っているリーフワックスをはじめとする中性エステルを脂肪酸と高級アルコールに的確に分解することができる。また、その後、酸性水を同被処理植物に噴霧して使用すれば、同酸性水が有する殺菌力により被処理植物の葉の表面に付着している細菌を的確に殺菌処理することができる。

また、かかる殺菌処理は、電解水生成装置によって生成される酸性水及びアルカリ性水を用いて行うものであり、薬剤や展着剤を一切使用しないため、また使用したアルカリ性水と酸性水は使用後に混合されて中和されるため、環境への影響も殆どなく実施することができる。
