Description

【0001】

At this time, the work table 6 intermittently slides in response to the continuous vertical movement of the needle S, so that even when the sleeve cloth B and the ragged sword cloth W are sewn at a high speed, the needle tip does not cause a scratch due to the needle tip. .
In the course of the sewing operation (5), the bent portion 73 of the crankshaft 72 in the holding plate 33 is in the way, but as shown in FIGS. By extending the rod 77 of the cylinder 76 and rotating the crankshaft 72 via the rack 78 and the pinion 75, the bent portion 73 is moved to the opposite side.
[0019]
The folding step (3) will be described in detail.
(3a) The first folding plate 31 is advanced, and the first folding portion W1 in the outer peripheral portion of the ragged sword cloth W is folded along one oblique side on the tip side of the template 32. At this time, since the first folding plate 31 gradually overlaps the template 32 from the base end side of one oblique side, the first folding portion W1 is reliably and accurately folded (see FIG. 10).
(3b) The second folding plate 31a is advanced, and the second folding portion W2 on the outer peripheral portion of the ragged cloth W is folded along the other oblique side on the tip side of the template 32. At this time, the one protruding piece 41 of the second folding plate 31a gradually overlaps with the template 32 from the base end side of the other oblique side, and the first folding portion W1 is connected to one side edge of the first folding plate 31. Is located near the other oblique side of the template 32, so that the second folded portion W2 does not protrude from the one oblique side T1 of the sword rag P and is reliably and accurately folded. . Further, the second folding plate 31a is advanced to a position where the corners of the third and fourth folding plates 31b, 31c overlap the protruding pieces 41, 41a (see FIG. 11).
(3c) The third and fourth folded plates 31b and 31c are sequentially or simultaneously advanced, and the third and fourth folded portions W3 and W4 in the outer peripheral portion of the ragged sword cloth W are folded along both sides of the template 32. . In addition, the first and second fold portions W1 and W2 are positioned in such a manner that the side edges of the protruding pieces 41 and 41a in the second fold plate 31a are positioned parallel to the vicinity of both side portions of the template 32, Since the third and fourth folded portions W3, W4 are securely pressed by the protruding pieces 41, 41a without loosening, they are securely and accurately folded without protruding from both oblique sides T1, T2 of the sword rag P. (See FIGS. 12 and 13).
[0020]
In the drawing, the sewing process of the sword rag P to the left sleeve cloth B has been described. However, the slide direction of the work table 6 in the X direction is reversed, and if necessary, the third and fourth folding plates 31b, If a program for changing the order of the forward and backward movements of 31c and setting the position of the bent portion 73 of the crankshaft 72 on the holding plate 33 on the opposite side is incorporated in advance, one switch can be used to switch both the left and right sides by switching a switch (not shown). The sword rag P can be folded and sewn on the sleeve cloth B of the sword.
Further, the portion inside the interval portion 74 in the seam H for sewing the sword rag P to the sleeve cloth B may be a single as shown in FIGS. 14 and 15 or a double as shown in FIGS. In the former case, along the edge of the intermediate member 70 on the space 74 side, in the latter case, the edge of the tip member 71 on the space 74 side, the needle groove 35 on the side of the space 74 and the intermediate member 70 Are sewn along the edge on the side of the gap 74, and can be changed by a switch (not shown) in the same manner as described above.

Is advanced, the outer peripheral portion of the ragged sword cloth W positioned at the end of the folding plates 31, 31a is sandwiched between the folding plates 31, 31a and the template 32, and can be automatically folded. At the same time, the state can be maintained, and a pressing step using an iron can be omitted as in the related art.
Also, since the template 32 is removably disposed at the tip of the mounting plate 50 provided on the advance / retreat means 47 so as to be vertically movable, which matches the outer peripheral shape of the sword rag P, the sword rag cloth W is formed with the work table 6 and the mold. Since the sword rag cloth W can be set between the plate 32 and the stable work table 6 side and the template 32, the folding plates 31, 31a can be set.
Even when folded back so as to be sandwiched between the template 32, the fabric is fed out from the portion sandwiched between the work table 6 and the template 32 and is not deformed, so that the sword cloth W is securely folded back. And the template 32 can be retracted so as not to hinder the sewing operation of the ragged sword cloth W to the sleeve cloth B.
Also, since the pressing plate 33 for sewn the sword rag P and the sleeve cloth B so that the sword rag P and the sleeve cloth B can be sewn is disposed above the template 32, the folded sword rag cloth W is folded while holding the folded sword rag cloth W in that state. Since the entire outer peripheral portion can be reliably pressed and brought into close contact with the sleeve cloth B, it is possible to shift to the sewing process as it is, and it is possible to prevent problems such as sewing deviation and puckering.
Therefore, in the automatic sewing apparatus 1 for the sword rag P according to the present invention, all the operations from setting the sword rag cloth W and the sleeve cloth B to sewing can be performed below the sewing head 4 in the sewing machine main body 2. The ragged sword cloth W and the sleeve cloth B can be sewn without moving on the work table 6, so that the sword ragged cloth W and the sleeve cloth B can be securely stitched without causing a defect such as stitching or puckering. In addition, sewing can be performed accurately.
Further, at the time of the initial setting, only the work of positioning the work table 6 is sufficient, and the sewing can be reliably performed only by the slide control of the work table 6, so that control of two types of driving systems is unnecessary as in the related art, and the apparatus is simplified. Can be achieved.
Therefore, in the automatic sword rag sewing apparatus 1 according to the present invention, only one working space is required, and there is only a space around the work table 6 that can move by the size of the sword rag P. In addition, the entire apparatus can be reduced in size and space can be saved.
[0022]
Further, since the holding plate 33 is constituted by the tip member 71 and the intermediate member 70 arranged in series and the crankshaft 72 connecting the tip member 71 and the intermediate member 70, the holding plate 33 is formed between the tip member 71 and the intermediate member 70. A seam H can be formed in the space 74 with the needle S.
The crankshaft 72 is disposed above the center of the tip member 71 and the intermediate member 70, and the bent portion 73 is disposed at a position corresponding to the gap 74 between the tip member 71 and the intermediate member 70, and And the intermediate portion is rotatably attached to the distal end member 71 and the intermediate member 70. Therefore, the distal end member 71 and the intermediate member 70 are reciprocated only at the position of the bent portion 73 in the connected state as appropriate, so that the spacing portion 74 Further, the sewing at the outer peripheral portion of the sword rag P can be performed without delay.
[0023]
Further, it is considered that the tip member 71 of the holding plate 33 in the upper standby state is shaken when touched during the work, and the inclined state is maintained as a worst case. When pressed, the sleeve cloth B is likely to be displaced. However, since the sewing machine head 4 is provided with the stopper 82 that comes into contact with the upper surface of the tip member 71 of the holding plate 33 in the upper standby state, even if the tip member Even if it touches 71, since the tip member 71 does not move by the stopper 82, the sword rag P and the sleeve cloth B can be surely pressed on the lower surfaces of the intermediate member 70 and the tip member 71, and the practical effect is great. It is a great thing.
