X/(X0 −A)=Y/{B(n−1/2)} …(1)
Y=X{B(n−1/2)}/(X0 −A) …(2)
【0039】
Y=X0 {B(n−1/2)}/(X0 −A) …(3)
X/(X0 −A)=(Y−D)/{B(n−1/2)−D} …(4)
Y={B(n−1/2)X−A・D}/(X0 −A) …(5)
【0041】
Y={B(n−1/2)X0 −A・D}/(X0 −A) …(6)

The present invention relates to a three-dimensional image display device used for three-dimensional television broadcasting and the like, and particularly to a three-dimensional image display device that allows a viewer to view a three-dimensional image without special glasses.
[0002]
[Summary of the Invention]
The present invention relates to a stereoscopic image display device using a glasses-free system using a stereoscopically captured left-eye image and a right-eye image, and detects left and right half-faces including the vicinity of the viewer's eyes, By controlling the optical path of the image based on this information, the information of the image for the left eye is guided to the left eye of the viewer, and the information of the image for the right eye is guided to the right eye of the viewer. It is intended to show a stereoscopic image to a viewer without the need for glasses.
[0003]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as a stereoscopic image display device used in stereoscopic television broadcasting, etc., special glasses such as polarized glasses and shutter glasses are used, and a device for displaying a stereoscopic image and a lenticular screen etc. without special glasses. A device for displaying a three-dimensional image is known.
[0004]
In this case, in a stereoscopic image display device that shows a stereoscopic image by using special glasses such as polarized glasses, a stereoscopically imaged pixel for the left eye image (left pixel) and a pixel for the right eye image (right pixel) ) Are nested on a display device, and a polarizing plate disposed on the display device imparts a left pixel with a predetermined degree of polarization (for example, 0 degree) and a right pixel with the predetermined degree of polarization. And a polarization degree (for example, 90 degrees) orthogonal to the polarization direction, the polarization degree of the left-eye lens is set to the predetermined polarization degree, and the polarization degree of the right-eye lens is orthogonal to the predetermined polarization degree. A stereoscopic image is shown to a viewer wearing special glasses such as polarized glasses.
[0005]
In addition, in a stereoscopic image display device that uses special glasses such as shutter glasses to show a stereoscopic image, a stereoscopically captured left-eye image and a right-eye image are alternately displayed on the display device, When displaying the left-eye image on the display device, the left-eye lens portion of the shutter glasses is in a transparent state. When displaying the right-eye image on the display device, the right-eye lens portion of the shutter glasses is displayed. In a transmission state, and a viewer wearing the shutter glasses sees a stereoscopic image.
[0006]
Further, in a stereoscopic image display device that displays a stereoscopic image without special glasses using a lenticular screen or the like, a pixel (left pixel) of a stereoscopically captured left-eye image and a pixel (right pixel) of a right-eye image are used. ) Are nested on the display device, and the light from the left pixel is guided to the left eye of the viewer and the light from the right pixel is viewed by the lenticular screen arranged on the display device. To the viewer's right eye and show the viewer a stereoscopic image without special glasses.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional stereoscopic image display device described above has the following problems.
[0008]
That is, in a stereoscopic image display device that shows a stereoscopic image by using special glasses such as polarized glasses and shutter glasses, it is a precondition that the viewer wears special glasses such as polarized glasses and shutter glasses. Therefore, there is a problem that a stereoscopic image cannot be viewed in a natural state.
[0009]
Also, in a stereoscopic image display device that uses a lenticular screen or the like to show a stereoscopic image without special glasses, a number of slits are formed in a lenticular screen formed by arranging a long and thin lens having a semi-cylindrical shape or a single plate. The left and right images are separated by a parallax barrier, etc. created in order to show the stereoscopic image to the viewer, so the range (viewing zone) that can be viewed stereoscopically is very narrow, and the eyes of the viewer When moving, there is a problem that the image for the left eye is incident on the right eye and the image for the right eye is incident on the left eye in reverse.
[0010]
In view of the above circumstances, the present invention does not use special glasses such as polarized glasses or shutter glasses, and does not use an optical element such as a special lens plate as a main element, and thus the optical path of the left and right images. By controlling each of them, even if the eyes of the observer move, the image for the left eye is guided to the left eye, and the image for the right eye is guided to the right eye. It is an object of the present invention to provide a stereoscopic image display device capable of showing an image.
[0011]
