Abstract

PURPOSE: To attain a stereoscopic vision at the observational position of a wide range by moving a relative position between a lenticular sheet and a display element when the observational position of an observer moves and controlling an optical direction so that a boundary line between a left eye visible range and a right eye visible range may turn in the direction of an observational position center.
CONSTITUTION: The observational position of the observer is detected, when the observational position center C between the left eye 12a of the observer and a right eye 12b moves from the detected position to a right and left, the movement control quantity signal A of a control quantity counting part 14 is changed, a control action signal D is outputted from a subtracter 16, a movement driver 6 is worked and a lenticular sheet 1 is moved in a direction to correspond with the character of the control action signal D. Consequently, a movement position signal B approaches to the movement control quantity signal A and the movement driver 6 stops when they are matched. The stop position collects respective boundary lines L1-Ln or L'1-L'n to the observational position center C and the stereoscopic vision is attained. Thus, the stereoscopic vision at the observational position of the wider range can be executed.
