【産業上の利用分野】
本発明は、人体の局部を洗浄する衛生洗浄装置に係り、その目的とするところは、洗浄用の温水を貯湯する貯湯タンクが、内圧の変化によって破損するのを良好に回避する安全装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来から衛生洗浄装置は、水道圧を利用して貯湯タンク内に適温に加熱して貯湯されている温水を噴出ノズルから噴射させて、人体の局部を洗浄するように構成されており、その具体的な構造は、例えば、特開平2−210125号公報に示されている。そして、前記公報に示されている衛生洗浄装置の構造は、給水口と連通する減圧弁と、その下流側に設置した電磁弁と、この電磁弁の下流に連接した温水の噴出量を調節する流量調節弁と、捨水口を具備した安全弁と、この安全弁と連通されて水道水を一定温度に加熱して貯湯する密閉状態の貯湯タンクと、貯湯タンクの温水を例えば水道圧によって噴射させる洗浄ノズルとを備えて概略構成されている。

そして、使用に際しては、給水口に流入する水道水の圧力(水圧)が地域毎、あるいは、住宅の形態等によって通常0.5〜9kgf/cm2 とバラツキがあるため、あらかじめ、減圧弁によって常に安定した噴出圧で洗浄水が噴出できるように所定の設定圧に調圧し、つづいて、電磁弁の開閉及び流量調節弁による洗浄ノズルへの洗浄水の供給量を調節設定し、前記洗浄ノズルより貯湯タンク内に適温で貯湯されている洗浄水を、常に安定した噴出量で使用者に不快感を与えないように噴射して局部の洗浄を行っている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
然るに、前記構造の衛生洗浄装置において、例えば、水道圧調節用の減圧弁が故障等により動作不良となった場合、電磁弁の開放時においては、水道圧が密閉状態の貯湯タンクに直接作用してこれを破損することが考えられるため、この場合は、安全弁の捨水口から貯湯タンクに供給される水道水の一部を強制的に排出させて、貯湯タンクに不必要な水道圧が加わることにより該貯湯タンクを破損するという事態を未然に回避していた。

ところが、前記安全弁の捨水口から水道水を排水すると、前記排水された水道水は、安全弁が通水の関係から衛生洗浄装置のケーシング端部に設置することが多いので、衛生洗浄装置を収容するケーシングの底面に形成した排水路を通り、前記ケーシングの中央部分から便器内に流下させていたが、水道水が前記のように減圧弁の動作不良により、電磁弁を介して安全弁より排出した場合、水道水は相当な水道圧によってケーシング内に溢流することになるので、安全弁の周辺に配置されている電気部品に、前記溢流した水道水の一部が飛散したり、あるいは、ケーシング内を水浸しにするという問題があった。

又、安全弁から溢流した水道水を便器内に良好に排水する場合は、前記安全弁が通水の関係からケーシングの端部において、減圧弁,電磁弁,流量調節弁とともにユニット化したバルブユニットとして構成されているため、ケーシングの底面に溢流水を円滑に排水するための専用の排水路を特別に形成したり、あるいは、安全弁の捨水口にビニールパイプをつなぐ等して溢流水を便器内に導出する等、溢流水によって電気部品が損傷するのを回避する手段を必要とする問題があった。

更に、前記溢流水排出用の安全弁は、バルブユニットとしての減圧弁、電磁弁等と一体的に形成されているため、バルブユニット自体は部品点数の増大に伴い大形化するとともに、前記溢流水を排水する排水路をケーシングに設けたり、あるいは、安全弁と溢流水を排水するケーシング側の排水口とをビニールパイプで直接接続したりしなければならない等、衛生洗浄装置は減圧弁の動作不良に対応する手段として、安全弁をはじめビニールパイプ等を特別に準備しなければならないので、構成が複雑化することはもとより大形化するため、組立工数及び製作コストが嵩むという問題があった。

本発明は、前記の種々な問題点に鑑み、水道水(洗浄水)を適温に加熱する貯湯タンクに、水抜き栓と近接して簡易的な安全弁を前記水抜き栓と共通するカバー体を用いてほぼ一体的に形成し、前記安全弁から流出する貯湯タンク内の適温水を、前記水抜き栓の排水路を利用して排水することにより、貯湯タンクを破損することなく、該貯湯タンクに加わる水圧を容易に逃出可能とした衛生洗浄装置の安全装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の目的を達成するための、本発明による衛生洗浄装置の安全装置は、
便器本体の上面に取付けられて、貯湯タンク内で適温に加熱した洗浄水を、局部洗浄用の機能部に供給するように構成した装置において、
貯湯タンクの下部の、便器本体の排泄用凹部に近接した個所に設けた水逃がし孔を、弁本体で塞ぎ、貯湯タンク内の水圧が設定値以上に達した時、開弁作動するようにした安全弁を備えることを特徴とする。
上記安全装置は、
上記安全弁と共に、その近傍に、前記水逃がし孔より径大の水抜き孔を、開閉弁体により開閉させるようにした水抜き栓を設けたことも特徴とする。

【作用】
本発明は、前記したように貯湯タンクの水抜き栓に近接して水圧逃し孔を設け、この水圧逃し孔に貯湯タンク内の水圧が所定の設定値以上に上昇したとき、弁本体を押動して水圧逃し孔を開放して、貯湯タンク内の適温水を便器内と連通する水抜き栓の排水路に排水させる安全弁を貯湯タンクに具備させたので、貯湯タンクが不必要な水圧を受けて破損するのを未然に回避するようにしたので、貯湯タンクの破損によって生ずる弊害が確実に除去できる。しかも、前記安全弁を貯湯タンクに設けることにより、貯湯タンクに加えられる異常水圧が生じたとき、直ちに貯湯タンク内の適温水を水抜き栓の排水路を利用して便器内に排出して、貯湯タンクに加わる異常水圧を開放することができるようにしたので、前記適温水を排出するための専用排出路を特別に必要としないので至便である。

その上、前記安全弁の水圧逃し孔は水抜き栓の水抜き孔とともに、同一のカバー体によって、簡易に弁本体の開閉を可能とした状態で閉鎖することができるので、貯湯タンクを異常水圧から保護するためにバルブユニットに設けた安全弁、及びこの安全弁から溢流した水道水を便器内まで導出するビニールパイプからなる排水手段、あるいは、排水路を特別に設けたりする必要は全くなく、簡素な構成で貯湯タンクを異常水圧から保護する安全装置を設けることができるので、衛生洗浄装置を簡易な構成で経済的に製作できる利点がある。

その上、本発明の安全弁に用いられる水圧逃し孔は、水抜き栓の水抜き孔に近接して設けてあるので、貯湯タンクに異常水圧が加わってタンク内の適温水を排水する場合、この適温水は水抜き孔の排水路を利用して直ちに便器内に流下させることができ、又、水圧逃し孔から排出される適温水によって、貯湯タンクに近接する電気部品に悪影響を与えたり、ケーシング内が水浸しとなるといった問題を確実に解消することができる。

【実施例】
以下、本発明の実施例を、図1ないし図9によって説明する。図1は本発明の安全装置を備えた衛生洗浄装置を便器本体に据付けた状態を示す平面図である。図1において、1は便器本体2の上面後背部を利用して設置した衛生洗浄装置で、この衛生洗浄装置1は、上ケーシング(図1に一部分のみ示す)3aと下ケーシング3bとを合体して内部空間を備えた状態で、前記下ケーシング3bを便器本体2に固定して据え付けられる。そして、前記上ケーシング3aには図示しない便座、便蓋が開閉自在に取付けられている。衛生洗浄装置1の機能部は、例えば、上ケーシング3aの側部に前方に向けて突出形成した操作盤3c内の図示しないコントローラを、操作盤3c上に配設した洗浄、乾燥、停止等衛生洗浄装置1の機能部を操作する操作スイッチ等の操作手段4を手動操作して作動させる。

次に衛生洗浄装置1の内部について説明する。図1に示す5は上ケーシング3a側方(図1の左側)の図示しない給水源と貯湯タンク6との間に配置されたバルブユニットを示し、このバルブユニット5は図示しない給水源(例えば、水道の給水口)と接続ホース等を介して連結した水道圧調節用の減圧弁5aと、水路開閉用の電磁弁5bと、更に流量調節弁(図示せず)とを具備して構成されている。又、貯湯タンク6は図3,4のように内部が空洞化した上及び下ケース6a,6bを、それぞれフランジ6c,6dを熱溶着する等して、内部の空洞部に適温水が所定量貯湯できるように構成されている。7は電磁弁5bと貯湯タンク6下部の洗浄水流入口(図3参照)8とを連通可能に接続する通水管で、前記電磁弁5bの開放により洗浄水を貯湯タンク6に供給する。

つづいて、前記2つ割とした上,下ケース6a,6bからなる貯湯タンク6の構造を図2ないし図4において説明する。この貯湯タンク6は図1に示す下ケーシング3bの中央から左側の位置にバルブユニット5に近接して取付けられており、貯湯タンク6内の洗浄水は加熱ヒータ9により加熱し、温度センサ10によって湯温を検出して、所定温度の温水(以下、適温水という)を生成するように構成されている。11は貯湯タンク6の上部に温度センサ10に近接して取付けた適温水過熱防止用のバイメタルスイッチであり、12は貯湯タンク6内の洗浄水が定量供給されたときのみ、加熱ヒータ9を通電させて洗浄水の加熱を可能とした空焚き防止用のフロートスイッチである。

次に図3で示す13は貯湯タンク6の上ケース6a上部の適温水出湯口14に設けた大気開閉弁であり、この開閉弁13の上部には大気と連通する大気連通口15を有し、側壁には適温水の流出口16を開口し、更に、内部には前記出湯口14上部の弁座17と接離する弁体18が昇降可能に収容されている。そして、適温水の流出時はその水流によって弁体18を押上げ、大気連通口15を弁体18により閉鎖し、適温水の非流出時は弁体18が自重降下して出湯口14を閉止し、大気連通口15を開放状態とする。

なお、大気連通口15には図1で示すように、先端を貯湯タンク6のドレン水を排水する排水路19に延出した給気管20が接続されており、又、流出口16には図1に示すように、貯湯タンク6の右側に配置したノズル装置21が、給湯管22を介して接続されている。なお、図4に示す23は多数の通孔23aを穿孔して貯湯タンク6の下ケース6b内に取付けた波浪防止板で、洗浄水流入口8から貯湯タンク6に流入する洗浄水が、タンク6内で波打つことによって生ずる適温水との混合を抑制して適温水の湯温低下を防止する。

図3において、24は貯湯タンク6下部の洗浄水流入口8と反対側(図3の右側)に設けた水抜き栓で、図5及び図8で示すように、貯湯タンク6に開口した径大な水抜き孔25(排水ドレン)を開閉する開閉弁体26と、この開閉弁体26に水平方向に貫通させて止着した弁棒27とからなり、この弁棒27の貯湯タンク6内に位置する一方端を、貯湯タンク6の下ケース6b底面に突設した支持座28に水平移動可能に挿通支持し、水抜き孔25の外側に突出する他方端(先端)を、後述するカバー体29の排水口30の中心部に横設した支持枠30aに水平移動可能に挿通支持させることにより、前記開閉弁体26を前記カバー体29の排水口30内側に形成した弁座31に接離させる。32は開閉弁体26を弁座31側に付勢するばね部材である。

更に、図3で示す33は前記水抜き栓24の横に併設した安全弁であり、図5,6で示すように、貯湯タンク6に前記水抜き孔25と連通可能に開口した径小な水圧逃し孔34と、貯湯タンク6内の水圧が所定の水圧に達したとき、前記水圧逃し孔34を開放する弁本体35とからなり、この弁本体35には、前記排水口30を形成したカバー体29に、該排水口30と並行してカバー体29と一体的に形成した小径な排水筒36に一方端を係止状態で挿入した圧縮ばね37の他方端を係着することにより、前記弁本体35は常時圧縮ばね37の荷重を受けて水圧逃し孔34側に付勢され、該水圧逃し孔34を所要の荷重で閉鎖するように構成されている。38は排水筒36の突端に排水路19側に向けて形成した排水ノズルである。

そして、前述したカバー体29は、水抜き栓24の水抜き孔25に連通する排水口30と、安全弁33の水圧逃し孔34と連通する排水筒36とをそれぞれ具備し、図5に示すように、水抜き孔25と排水口30,水圧逃し孔34と排水筒36とをそれぞれ相対応させて貯湯タンク6にねじ部材を用いて止着されている。この結果、常時水抜き栓24は開閉弁体26により排水口30を、安全弁33は弁本体35にて水圧逃し孔34をそれぞれ閉鎖している。なお、図1に示す39は水抜き栓24の弁棒27を外部から押動操作する操作杆である。又、図1に示す40は洗浄後の局部を乾燥する温風装置である。

次に動作について説明する。先づ、局部の洗浄を行わないとき貯湯タンク6内の洗浄水は、加熱ヒータ9で加熱され温度センサ10により湯温を検出し、図示しないコントローラと連動させて所定温度の適温水が得られるように制御されている。この際、大気開閉弁13は弁体18が降下して貯湯タンク6上部の出湯口14を閉鎖し、逆に、大気連通口15を開放している。このため、大気連通口15と適温水の流出口16は大気中に開放されているので、ノズル装置21内の残留水を良好に排出できるとともに、ノズル装置21内の残留水が万一給湯管22を逆流して大気開閉弁13内に流入した場合、この残留水は出湯口14が図3に示すように、弁体18により閉鎖されているので、貯湯タンク6内に逆流することなく、大気連通口15から給気管20を通って排水路19に排出され便器本体2内に流下する。

次に局部を洗浄する場合について説明する。操作盤3c上に配置した機能部操作用の各操作スイッチを配設した操作手段4の中から、例えば、洗浄スイッチを手動操作して電磁弁5bを開放し、貯湯タンク6に所定の水圧に減圧された洗浄水が流入口8から流入する。洗浄水の流入により貯湯タンク6内の適温水は洗浄水の流入分だけ押し上げられ、弁体18を上動させて大気連通口15を閉鎖すると同時に出湯口14を開放し、前記押し上げられた適温水は大気開閉弁13の流出口16から給湯管22を介してノズル装置21に通水され、ノズル装置21内の図示しない洗浄ノズルを、例えば、ノズル装置21に通水される適温水の水圧を利用して便器本体2内に突出させ、このノズル装置21に通水された適温水を洗浄ノズルから噴射して局部の洗浄を行う。

局部の洗浄後操作手段4の中から停止スイッチを操作してバルブユニット5の電磁弁5bを閉鎖する。電磁弁5bの閉鎖により貯湯タンク6内には洗浄水が流入しないので、大気開閉弁13の弁体18は降下して出湯口14を閉鎖し、逆に、大気連通口15を開放する。このため、給気管20から流入した空気は適温水の流出口16を通ってノズル装置21に流入し、ノズル装置21内に残留している適温水を、その通水停止に伴う水圧の消滅により押圧が解除されてノズル装置21内に後退する図示しない洗浄ノズルの噴出口から便器本体2内に排出する。前記洗浄ノズルの後退中に残留水が万一大気開閉弁13内に逆流した場合は、出湯口14が弁体18により閉鎖されているので、前記逆流水は給気管20→排水路19を通り便器本体2内に排水される。

そして、前記局部を洗浄しているとき、バルブユニット5の減圧弁5aが故障により動作不良となって水道水の水圧がコントロールできなくなると、貯湯タンク6には水道水の水圧が直接加わるとともに、ノズル装置21から適温水を噴射する場合はその噴射量も急に上昇する。前記のように、貯湯タンク6内の水圧があらかじめ設定した圧力以上に達すると、図7に示すように、貯湯タンク6の下ケース6bに設けた安全弁33の弁本体35が、圧縮ばね37の力に抗して図7の左方に押動されて水圧逃し孔34を開放する。このため貯湯タンク6内に流入した洗浄水は、図7において水圧逃し孔34→排水筒36→排水ノズル38を通り、図1のように排水路19に流下して便器本体2内に排水される。

前記のように、安全弁33の弁本体35が貯湯タンク6内の水圧によって後退すると、前記弁本体35は排水筒36の弁本体35側に位置する開口端縁の周方向に部分的に突設した衝止突起41に受止められて保持される結果、水圧逃し孔34から流出する洗浄水は、図7に矢印で示すように、弁本体35の周囲から弁本体35後端と衝止突起41との間に形成される隙間42を通って排水筒36に流入するように安全弁33が構成されているので、貯湯タンク6内の異常水圧によって洗浄水が排水筒36から流出することにより、その跳ね水が飛散して衛生洗浄装置1の機能部を構成する電気部品に付着して悪影響を及ぼすという事態を確実に回避することができる。

又、排水筒36の先端に形成した排水ノズル38は排水筒36より小径に形成されているため、排水筒36から洗浄水が急激に噴出するのを抑制することが可能となり、これにより、洗浄水が急激に噴射することによって生ずる弊害を良好に回避することができる。しかも、前記貯湯タンク6にあらかじめ設定した設定値以上の水圧が加わると、この異常水圧はその一部を前記安全弁33によって外部に逃出させることができるとともに、貯湯タンク6内の適温水をノズル装置21側に急速に排出し、前記ノズル装置21の図示しない洗浄ノズルから正常時に比べて噴出圧を強くして適温水を噴出させるため、前記貯湯タンク6の異常圧力を前記安全弁33と分担して確実に排出することができる。

このように、異常水圧が貯湯タンク6に加わると、前記安全弁33と洗浄ノズルから異常水圧の大部分を良好に排出させることができるとともに、ノズル装置21からの適温水の噴射圧力が増大するため、衛生洗浄装置1の利用者は、正常時よりも強い噴出圧で適温水が噴出することによる異常状態に気付き、直ちに操作手段4の中から停止スイッチを投入して電磁弁5bを閉鎖することにより、洗浄水が貯湯タンク6に流入するのを防ぐことができるので、異常圧力が貯湯タンク6に作用するのを良好に阻止することができる。

この結果、安全弁33は、貯湯タンク6内に異常水圧が加わった場合、貯湯タンク6が破損しない範囲で洗浄水を良好に排出してタンク6内の異常水圧を軽減するように形成されているので、貯湯タンク6の破損が良好に防止でき、かつ、洗浄水が不必要に流出するという無駄を確実に回避することができる。

次に貯湯タンク6内から必要に応じて水抜きを行う場合、即ち、厳寒時における貯湯タンク6の凍結防止、あるいは、長期不使用時の場合において、図1に示す操作杆39を、外部から図示しない連結杆を介して該操作杆39の支持部aを支点として水抜き栓24の弁棒27側に回動(図1の反時計方向)し、前記弁棒27を図9で示すように、貯湯タンク6の内側方向にばね部材32の荷重に抗して押動する。弁棒27を押動すると開閉弁体26が弁座31から離れて排水口30を開放する。このため、貯湯タンク6側の水抜き孔25とカバー体29の前記排水口30は支持枠30aを除いて連通するため、貯湯タンク6内の水は水抜き孔25から排水口30を通って排水路19に流下し、便器本体2に排水される。

この際、大気開閉弁13は弁体18が貯湯タンク6上部の出湯口14を閉鎖しているので、空気は貯湯タンク6内に流入していないものの、カバー体29に形成した排水口30は、貯湯タンク6の水抜き孔25と同径に近い大きさで、しかも、高さ方向の寸法を大きくすることにより、排水口30の上下方向において水頭圧に差が生じ、この水頭圧の差によって空気が排水口30の上部側から貯湯タンク6内に流入する結果、前記大気開閉弁13が閉鎖されていても、貯湯タンク6内の水は前記排水口30から良好に排水することができる。

貯湯タンク6の水抜きが終了したら、操作杆39を元の位置に戻すことにより、弁棒27に加えられていた外力が消滅するため、弁棒27は図8で示すように、ばね部材32の付勢力によって図8の左側に押動され、開閉弁体26を弁座31に当接させて排水口30を閉鎖する。なお、前記水抜き栓24の弁棒27を操作する操作杆39は、前記したように、例えば衛生洗浄装置1の上ケーシング3aを取り外して操作するか、あるいは、図示しない連結杆を操作杆39と駆動可能に連結し、この連結杆を下部ケーシング3bの外側から操作して操作杆39を操作すればよい。

【発明の効果】
本発明は、局部洗浄用の適温水を貯湯する貯湯タンクの下部に、貯湯タンク内の水圧が設定値以上に達したとき、前記水圧によって開放する安全弁が取付けてあるので、貯湯タンクはその内部において異常水圧が加えられたとしても前記安全弁により、異常水圧を良好に軽減することができるため、貯湯タンクを前記異常水圧による破損から良好に保護することができる。

しかも、前記安全弁は、貯湯タンクの下部に開口した水圧逃し孔を弁本体により開閉する構造が採用され、かつ、安全弁自体が便器本体に近接して設けてあるので、貯湯タンクに異常水圧が加えられたとき、貯湯タンク内の水を従来のように、特別な排水路を形成して排水したり、ビニールパイプ等の排水手段を用いることなく、直接便器本体内に排水することができ、安全弁の構造の簡素化と相まって、貯湯タンク内の水を衛生洗浄装置の電気部品に悪影響を与えることなく排水することが可能なため、安全性に優れた衛生洗浄装置を簡素な構成で経済的に製作することができる。

又、本発明は、貯湯タンク内の異常水圧を開放する安全弁に隣接して水抜き栓が併設されており、水抜き栓は安全弁から排水される水を便器本体に近接する共通の排水路を利用して貯湯タンク内の水抜きを行うことができる。しかも、安全弁からの排水と同様に便器本体に近接した位置で貯湯タンクの水抜きが行えるため、水抜き時に便器本体内に排水される水が飛散して、衛生洗浄装置の電気部品に悪影響を与えるといった弊害を確実に回避することができる利点がある。

便器本体の上面に取付けられて、貯湯タンク内で適温に加熱した洗浄水を、局部洗浄用の機能部に供給するように構成した装置において、
貯湯タンクの下部の、便器本体の排泄用凹部に近接した個所に設けた水逃がし孔を、弁本体で塞ぎ、貯湯タンク内の水圧が設定値以上に達した時、開弁作動するようにした安全弁を備えることを特徴とする衛生洗浄装置の安全装置。
