この発明は缶入り飲料などの商品を冷却して販売する自動販売機における、庫内で発生したドレン水の処理技術に関する。

【従来の技術】
缶入り飲料などの商品を冷却して販売する自動販売機は広く普及されており、一般に1台の自動販売機で数種類の商品を販売する。この自動販売機は庫内に複数の断熱室が形成され、それぞれの断熱室に冷却器を備え、また断熱室内の商品ラックには各々異なった商品が収容される。しかして客の購買操作によって所定の商品ラックから冷却された商品を前面の商品取出口に送出し、客の要求に応えられるようなされている。

前記断熱室内では、商品の補充時侵入した外気内の水蒸気の凝結、あるいは商品に付着した水滴等によりドレン水が生じる。このドレン水は、前記冷却器と共に冷凍サイクルを構成し前記庫内下方に形成される機械室に配設される凝縮ユニットに隣接設置される蒸発皿に導かれ蒸発処理される。しかして各断熱室にはドレン水を蒸発皿に送るために、図4に示すドレン処理装置を備える。図4において、1は庫内に形成される断熱室、2は断熱室の底板である。この底板2は上面をすり鉢形に傾斜させその最下部に下向きに排水口2aが設けられる。3はドレン処理装置で、上面の開口41が排水口2aに臨み、前記底板2の下方に突出する筒状部の下端に排水口42を有するドレン受け4と、基端部51が排水口42に接続され、先端部が前述の蒸発皿に延びるホース5とで構成される。ホース5は基端部に近い部分を大きく下側に湾曲させてここに常時ドレン水を溜めトラップ6を形成するように敷設される。52はホース5を底板2に支持させるための吊金具である。前述の複数の断熱室2にはそれぞれ上記ドレン処理装置3が設けられ前記機械室には各断熱室から導かれるホース5が配管され、蒸発皿には多数のホース5の先端が開口する。しかして、各断熱室内で生じたドレン水はそれぞれのドレン受け4に集められ、各ホース5を介して、またトラップ6を経由して蒸発皿に送り込まれ、蒸発皿で蒸発処理される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで上記自動販売機はホース5によってトラップ6を形成するためのホース5の設置に格別の注意を要し手数がかかる。また底板2の下方の機械室に多数のホース5が敷設されるために、機械室内が煩雑になり、かつ大きな室内スペースを必要とする。更に多数のドレン受け4個々にホース5の接続配管作業を行わなければならず自動販売機の組立工数が増大する等の多くの難点があった。

この発明は前記難点を解決し極めて合理的に構成されたドレン処理装置を備える自動販売機を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、この発明によれば庫内に複数の断熱室が形成され、各断熱室に収容された商品を冷却して販売する自動販売機において、前記各断熱室の底板最下部に、断熱室内で生じたドレン水を捕集し断熱室外に排出するトラップ付ドレン受けをそれぞれ設置するとともに、前記各ドレン受けの排水口から排出されるドレン水を受け入れ蒸発処理容器に案内する樋を設けるものとする

この発明によれば、ドレン受け内にトラップが形成されるので、トラップを形成するための作業や注意が不要であり、また各ドレン受けからのドレン水を1本の樋に集めて蒸発皿に送るので、多数のホースが排除される。従って機械室内は簡素化され、またスペースも小さくて足りる。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1ないし図3はこの発明の第1の実施例を示すもので図4と共通あるいは同一の部分には同じ符号で示す。図1ないし図3において、上面の開口41が排水口2aに臨み、かつ排水口43を有するドレン受け4Aは、排水口43をドレン受け4Aの底板より高くし、かつ排水口2aの高さより下方に延びドレン水の入口側と出口側とを区画する隔壁6aを設けて形成されるトラップ6Aを内部に備え、プラスチック成形により形成される。上記ドレン受け4Aは各断熱室2ごとに設けられ底板2の下方に各ドレン受け4Aの排水口43が一線に並ぶように取り付けられる。尚ドレン受け4Aには、上面に開口41を備える筒状部40の外周面にフランジ40fおよび爪40pが設けられる一方、断熱室の底板2の外板に開口する筒状部40の差し込み穴の穴縁には、前記爪40pが挿通可能な切欠き2nが設けられており、これらでバヨネット式取付機構を構成している。また44はドレン受け4Aの取手を兼ねる補強リブであり、前述のバヨネット式取付機構によって、ドレン受け4Aはリブ44を持って筒状部40を底板2の穴に差し込んで回転させるだけで、取付作業が工具を要せず容易に行われる。7は前記各排水口43が上面上に臨むように設置される樋で、上流側端部に設けられたフック71および下流側端部の突起72によって機械室の構成部材に固定され、かつ前記下流側端部には前述の蒸発皿に臨む排水口73が開口する。

前述の構成において、自動販売機は断熱室1内に生じたドレン水が底部に集められ排水口2aを通してドレン受け4Aに流れる。このドレン受け4Aは前記ドレン水を樋7に流し出すとともに、トラップ6Aによって、常時ドレン水をドレン受け4Aの底部に一定水位まで溜めて、外気や害虫等がドレン水の排水路を通って断熱室1内に侵入するのを防止している。前記樋7は各断熱室のドレン受け4Aからのドレン水を集め、排水口73から蒸発皿に流出させる。このようにドレン処理装置3は各断熱室内に生じたドレン水を支障なく処理するとともに、その設置において、トラップを形成するための手数が注意を要せず、また機械室では1個の樋7によってドレン水を蒸発皿に送り込めるので設置作業が簡単になり、機械室内を簡素化し、室内スペースを縮小することも可能となる。

【発明の効果】
この発明によれば、庫内に複数の断熱室が形成され、各断熱室に収容された商品を冷却して販売する自動販売機において、前記各断熱室の底板最下部に、断熱室内で生じたドレン水を捕集し断熱室外に排出するトラップ付ドレン受けをそれぞれ設置するとともに、前記各ドレン受けの排水口から排出されるドレン水を受け入れ蒸発処理容器に案内する樋を設けるものとしたので、ドレン排水路に、ホースによるトラップ形成の手数、注意を必要とせず、また機械室内に敷設される多数のホースを排除することにより機械室内を簡素化し、かつ室内スペースの縮小をも可能となり、更に自動販売機の組立工程の短縮にもつながるドレン処理装置を備えた自動販売機を実現することができる。
