Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a braille guide plate and a method for manufacturing the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Braille guides for blind people are installed at the entrances and exits of elevators and stairs.
[0003]
This Braille guide plate has been made by forming a hole in a substrate in accordance with a Braille pattern and press-fitting a stud into the hole. Japanese Patent Application No. 61-180468 (Japanese Patent Publication No. 06-42118). Therefore, a technique has been proposed in which a hole is cut out from the back side of a substrate according to a Braille pattern, the hole is cut out immediately before the hole penetrates, and the remaining portion is punched out with a punch to form Braille.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
According to the above-mentioned technology, the cost and the material can be greatly reduced as compared with the conventional technology. However, a process of forming a prepared hole and a process of punching Braille with a punch are required.
[0005]
The present invention proposes a technique in which two steps are required to form a projection constituting Braille in the first technique, but can be formed in one step.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a method of forming a hole at the center of a tip blade with a drill or an end mill having a zero or minus scooping angle from the back surface of a substrate, and forming a press at the tip of the drill or the end mill. The projections forming the braille pattern are formed on the surface of the substrate by the pressure.
[0007]
According to the present invention configured as described above, a braille guide plate can be manufactured in one step by using a drill or an end mill having a specific cutting edge.
[0008]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Next, the braille guide plate according to the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 shows a hole being drilled from the back side of a substrate 2 by a drill 1 in accordance with a braille pattern.
[0009]
As shown in FIG. 2, the blade 3a at the outer periphery of the tip blade 3 of the drill 1 used for boring has a scooping angle α and a clearance angle β shown in a textbook of the machine working method, and has a central portion ( The tip blade 3b of the web 4) draws ridges on both sides of the center line when viewed from the axial direction of the cutting edge of the drill 1. That is, the scoop angle α is a minus angle.
[0010]
With the drill 1 configured as described above, when the substrate 2 made of stainless steel is bored as shown in FIG. 1, the hole 3 is positively bored at the cutting edge 3a. Therefore, a considerable pressing force acts on the tip of the drill without the hole being drilled. Immediately before the opening of the hole 8, the pressing force forms the projection 5 on the surface of the substrate 2.
[0011]
Therefore, the hole forming conditions (progress of the drill) for forming the protrusions 5 and the separately prepared Braille pattern are input to a machine tool that can be numerically controlled, and the holes are formed in accordance with the input data to form the protrusions 5 sequentially. The desired Braille guide plate 6 (see FIG. 6) is manufactured.
[0012]
Next, a case where a Braille guide plate is manufactured using an end mill instead of a drill will be described. As shown in FIG. 4D, the tip blade 3 'of the end mill 7 includes a blade 3'a at an outer peripheral portion and a blade 3'b at a central portion. The cutting edge of the blade 3'a at the outer peripheral portion has a normal scooping angle α and the clearance angle β as shown in FIG. 4C, and the cutting edge of the blade 3'b at the center portion is as shown in FIGS. 4 (a) and 4 (b). ), The scoop angle α is a minus angle.
[0013]
When the substrate 2 made of stainless steel is bored by the end mill 7 configured as described above, the outer peripheral portion is positively bored, but the central portion does not advance, and a considerable pressing force is applied at the end of the end mill. In operation, immediately before the hole 8 is opened, the protrusion 5 shown in FIG. 3 is formed on the surface of the substrate 2 by the above pressing force.
[0014]
Therefore, the hole forming conditions (progress of the end mill) in which the protrusions 5 are formed and the separately prepared Braille pattern are input to a machine tool that can be numerically controlled, and the holes are formed in accordance with the input data. The braille guide plate 6 is manufactured.
[0015]
In this example, the scooping angle α and the relief angle β of the central portion 3′b are slightly different, but the object of the invention can be achieved in any case.
[0016]
Although stainless steel is used as the material of the substrate in the above embodiment, commonly used metals can be used in the same manner.
[0017]
Further, the hole formed by the hollowing may be filled with a cement (for example, metal cement) firmly fixed to the substrate. It is filled to reinforce the protrusions when the substrate is a soft material such as aluminum.
[0018]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, a braille pattern can be easily guided to a machine tool that can be numerically controlled by simply inputting a braille pattern and drilling conditions and drilling a hole from a back side of the board with a specific drill or end mill based on the input. You can get a board.
