本発明は、枝豆収穫機に関するものである。

枝豆の収穫は、畑に植えてある枝豆を茎毎土中から引き抜き、収穫小屋へ運び、そこで茎から枝豆をもぎ取って収穫していた。

出願人らの開発・研究によって、茎から枝豆を効率良く自動的にもぎ取る枝豆もぎ取り装置が開発され、また、もぎ取った枝豆を良否選別して収納する自動選別装置なども開発され、収穫小屋での作業能率は従前と比べると著しく向上するに至っている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、これまで畑に植えてある枝豆を刈り取りながら、茎から枝豆をもぎ取り収納する自動収穫機はなく、畑に行って一本ずつ手で枝豆を茎ごと土中から引き抜いているのが現状である。

稲作などにおいては、コンバインのように稲の茎を数本まとめてカッターで切断し、これを後方に搬送して脱穀する自動収穫機はあるが、枝豆は土面ぎりぎりの茎の根本まで実である枝豆を付けているため、稲作用のコンバインをそのまま適用することはできないし、また、脱穀構造も異なるため枝豆収穫機としてそのまま使用することはできない。

本発明は、これまでの枝豆もぎ取り装置の開発・製造・販売を行う中でこのような現状を見出し、これを解決するもので、作物の収穫という点で既存の稲作コンバインの基本構成を踏襲しつつも、枝豆を挾持搬送すると共に、できるだけ茎の根本あるいは土中の根を自動切断して効率良くスムーズに枝豆を茎毎刈り取り収穫できると共に、既存の枝豆もぎ取り装置を本体に組み込むことで、枝豆の茎からのもぎ取り収穫も自動的に行われ、広大な作付け面積であっても、労力なくスピーディーに枝豆をもぎ取り収穫できる画期的な枝豆収穫機を提供できるものである。
