本発明は、輸送容器における天蓋の取付構造に関し、上端が開口した容器と、この容器の開口部に取付固定される天蓋とを備えた輸送容器一般に利用することができる。

【従来の技術】
物品又は材料を収容して輸送するための輸送容器として、例えば図9に示すような鋼板製容器が使用されている。この輸送容器は、上端が開口した函型の容器1と天蓋2とに分離されており、使用に際し、収容物を容器1の内部に収容した後、容器1の開口部Aの縁に天蓋2を取付固定するものである。

容器1は、3本の台脚1a、底板1b、4本の支柱1c、4枚のパネル板1d、および4本の上かまち1eを主要な構成要素とする結合構造体である。各支柱1cは底板1bのコーナ部に立設され、各パネル板1dは底板1bの辺部に立設される。各上かまち1eは支柱1cの上端部間に横架される。パネル板1dは例えば同図に示すような波形鋼板で、波の軸を上下方向に向けて使用される。上かまち1eは断面略コ字形のアングル材で、そのコ字形部分にパネル板1dの上端が被着される。

天蓋2は、容器1の開口部Aを閉塞可能な大きさを有する天板部2aと、天板部2aの4辺から下方に連続して延在した側縁部2bとを備えている。天蓋2は、側縁部2bを下にして上方から容器1の開口部Aに被着する。側縁部2bの内側が開口部Aの縁外側に適合することにより、天蓋2は容器1に程よく嵌まる。天蓋2は上記のようにして容器1の開口部Aに被着された後、開口部Aの縁に固定される。そのための手段として、従来より、天蓋2の側縁部2bを、開口部Aの縁を構成する上かまち1eにタッピングビス等で締め付け固定する手段が採用されてきたが、取付作業に多くの手間と時間を要するため、作業性改善を目的として、図10あるいは図11に示すような、ワンタッチ式の取付構造が採用される場合がある。

図10に示す取付構造は、天蓋2のコーナ部外側面に溶接等で固着した取付金具13(コーナ金具)の爪片13cを、上かまち1eの外側縁部1e3の下端に係合させて天蓋2を固定するものである。取付金具13の爪片13cは内側に湾曲した形状をなし、天蓋2を上方向にずらそうとする力に対して、爪片13cと上かまち1eとの係合力(固定力)が働くことにより、天蓋2の容器1からの脱落が防止される。

図11に示す取付構造は、天蓋2のはり12に溶接等で固着した取付金具23(コ字形金具)の爪片23cを、上かまち1eの外側側縁部1e3の下端に係合させて天蓋2を固定するものである。爪片23cは上記爪片13cと同じ形状をなし、上記と同様の作用により、天蓋2の容器1からの脱落が防止される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述した従来の取付構造において、取付金具13(23)の爪片13c(23c)と上かまち1eの外側縁部1e3との係合力(固定力)は、天蓋2を上方向にずらそうとする力に対して働きを持つもので、天蓋2を前後方向(紙面と垂直方向)または左右方向(紙面と平行方向)にずらそうとする力に対しては働きを持たない。そのため、天蓋2に前後方向または左右後方の横ずれや歪み等が生じると、係合力(固定力)に低下をきたしたり、場合によっては、爪片13cが外側縁部1e3からはずれ、天蓋2が容器1から脱落してしまう可能性もある。

また、取付金具13(23)を天蓋2に固着するための作業(溶接等)が必要であり、製造工程増につながる。

さらに、図10に示す取付構造においては、取付金具13の爪片13cが外部に露出しているので、荷降などの際、他の輸送容器やその他周辺部材が爪片13cに当たり、爪片13cが変形を起こすことにより、上記と同様に、固定力の低下や消失をきたすおそれもある。

そこで、本発明は、簡単な構造でありながら安定した固定力を備え、しかも製造工程が簡素でかつ取付作業が容易な取付構造を提供しようとするものである。
【課題を解決するための手段】

本発明の取付構造は、▲1▼容器の開口部の縁を構成する部材に設けられたスリット穴、▲2▼開口部の縁コーナに適合する平板部と、この平板部から下方に延在し、開口部の縁コーナ外側に適合する内側縁部と、この内側縁部の下端から外側にU字状に湾曲しさらに上方に延在した外側縁部と、平板部から下方に延在した首部、および、この首部から下方に延在した弾性変形可能な弾性部を有する爪片と、内側縁部から外側に突出した爪部とを備えた取付金具、▲3▼開口部を閉塞可能な大きさを有する天板部と、この天板部から下方に延在した側縁部と、この側縁部に設けられた係合部とを備えた天蓋とで構成され、▲4▼取付金具の爪片をスリット穴に挿入し、その弾性部をスリット穴によって弾性変形させながら首部まで嵌め入れることにより、取付金具を開口部の縁コーナに取付固定し、▲5▼さらに、取付金具の内側縁部と外側縁部との間に形成されるコーナ空間に、天蓋の側縁部のコーナを挿入し、その係合部を爪部に係合させることにより、天蓋を取付金具を介して開口部の縁に取付固定するものである。

【作用】
天蓋を取付固定するに際しては、まず、容器の開口部の縁コーナに取付金具を取付固定し、つぎに、取付金具のコーナ空間に天蓋の側縁部のコーナを挿入する。

取付金具の爪片を、その弾性部を弾性変形させながらスリット穴を貫通させて首部まで嵌め入れると、上方向の力に対してはスリット穴を貫通して弾性復元した弾性部とスリット穴を形成した部材との係合力が働き、前後左右方向の力に対しては首部と上記部材との係合力が働く。これにより、取付金具は開口部の縁コーナに取付固定される。

以下、本発明を図9に示す輸送容器に適用した実施例について説明する。尚、本発明は上端が開口した容器と、この容器の開口部に取付固定される天蓋とを備えた輸送容器一般について適用可能であり、特に、図9に示す輸送容器に限って適用し得るものではない。

図1に示すように、天蓋2は取付金具3を介して容器1の開口部Aの縁に取付固定される。天蓋2は、側縁部2bの下端を内側にU字状に折り返し加工(ヘミング加工)した係合部2cを備えている(図1b参照)。また、容器1の開口部Aの縁を構成する部材、すなわち支柱1cおよび上かまち1eのうち、上かまち1eにスリット穴1e1が設けられている。スリット穴1e1は、図4に示すような長短寸法L1、L2を有する。

図2に示すように、取付金具3は、開口部Aの縁コーナに適合する平板部3aと、平板部3aから下方に連続して延在し、開口部Aの縁コーナ外側に適合する内側縁部3b1と、内側縁部3b1の下端から外側にU字状に湾曲しさらに上方に延在した外側縁部3b2と、平板部3aを両角部分において内側に切り起こし、さらに湾曲状に成形した2つの爪片3cと、内側縁部3b1を外側に切り起こした2つの爪部3d(図2d参照)とを備えている。内側縁部3b1と外側縁部3b2との間には、開口部Aの縁コーナに沿ったコーナ空間Mが形成される。尚、この実施例では、外側縁部3b2の上端を、天板部3aよりも上方に寸法tだけ延在させている(図2b参照)。

爪片3cは、平板部3aから下方に連続して延在した首部3c1と、首部3c1から下方に連続した湾曲部3c2と、湾曲部3c2から下方に連続して延在した下端部3c2とを有する。首部3c1、湾曲部3c2、下端部3c3は同幅(W3)である。また、湾曲部3c2は上下方向の曲率を有し、そのため、湾曲部3c2は厚さ方向から圧縮力を受けると厚さ寸法(S3:図2b参照)が縮小する方向に弾性変形する。図4に示すスリット穴1eの寸法との関係は、W3≦L1、S3〉L2である。

図3は、天蓋2の取付固定後の状態を示している。天蓋2を取付固定するに際しては、まず、開口部Aの縁コーナに取付金具3を取付固定し、つぎに、取付金具3のコーナ空間Mに、天蓋2の側縁部2bのコーナを挿入する。

取付金具3の取付固定は、その爪片3cを上かまち1eのスリット穴1e1に嵌め入れることにより、ワンタッチで行なうことができる。すなわち、爪片3cを下端部3c3からスリット穴1e1に挿入してゆくと、S3〉L2であるため、湾曲部3c2の凸曲側の中央部がスリット穴1e1の長寸法L1側の壁面と接触し、湾曲部3c2が厚さ方向に圧縮されて弾性変形する。そして、湾曲部3c2は、その上端がスリット穴1e1を貫通した時点で弾性復元し、S3〉L2となる。この時、スリット穴1eには首部3c1が挿入されている。

以上のようにして、取付金具3の爪片3cを、湾曲部3c2を弾性変形させながらスリット穴1e1を貫通させて首部3c1まで嵌め入れると、上方向の力に対しては湾曲部3c2の上端と上かまち1eとの係合力が働き、前後左右方向(紙面と垂直又は水平方向)の力に対しては首部3c1と上かまち1eとの係合力が働くことにより、爪片3cがスリット穴1e1から抜けなくなる。これにより、取付金具3は容器1の開口部Aの縁に固定される。この固定力は、上方向及び前後左右方向に作用する。

天蓋2の取付固定は、その側縁部2bのコーナを取付金具3のコーナ空間Mに挿入し、U字状に折り返し加工された係合部2cを、爪部3dに係合させることにより、ワンタッチで行なうことができる。係合部2cを爪部3dに係合させると、上方向の力に対しては係合部2cと爪部3dとの係合力が働き、前後左右方向の力に対しては側縁部2b(係合部2c)と内側縁部3b1または外側縁部3b2との係合力が働くことにより、天蓋2が取付金具3を介して開口部Aの縁に固定される。この固定力も、上方向及び前後左右方向に作用するので、天蓋2の横ずれ又は歪み等が生じた場合でも、天蓋2は容易に容器1から脱落しなくなる。尚、天蓋の係合部2cは、この実施例のように、側縁部2bの下端を内側に折り返し加工したものに限られず、例えば図6に示すように、側縁部2bに貫通窓2c’を設け、これを爪部3dに係合させる構成としても良い。

天蓋2の取付固定後、取付金具3の外側縁部3b2が、天蓋2の天板部2aから上方に寸法t’(t―天板部2aの肉厚)だけ突出するが、この突出した部分は、この輸送容器の上に他の輸送容器を積重ねたりする場合において、他の輸送容器の下端コーナを側方から支え、その位置ずれや荷崩れを防止する機能をもつものである。輸送容器の荷積み、輸送、保管にきわめて便利である。

取付金具3の爪片3cは、図5に示すような形状にしても良い。この実施例の爪片3cは、図2に示す平板部3aから下方に連続して延在した幅狭の首部3c1と、首部3c1から下方に連続して延在した逆台形状の湾曲部3c2とを有する。湾曲部3c2は幅方向(平板部3aの辺方向)の曲率を有し、そのため、湾曲部3c2は幅方向から圧縮力を受けると幅寸法(W)が縮小する方向に弾性変形し、逆に、幅と直行する方向(厚さ方向とする。)から圧縮力を受けると厚さ寸法(S)が縮小する方向に弾性変形する。また、湾曲部3c2の両側端3c3はそれぞれ幅方向および厚さ方向に傾斜し、そのため、湾曲部3c2はその上端から下端にかけて幅寸法および厚さ寸法が漸次減少した形状をなす(自然状態の幅寸法W1〉W2、自然状態の厚さ寸法S1〉S2)。

上記のような形状・寸法を有する2つの爪片3cを、上かまち1eのスリット穴1e1にそれぞれ嵌め入れて、取付金具3を開口部Aの縁コーナに取付固定するのであるが、これには、爪片3cの湾曲部3c2の寸法(W1、W2、S1、S2)と図4に示すスリット穴1cの長短寸法L1、L2との関係により、以下の2つの態様がある。

まず、第1の態様は、S1〉L2≧S2、W1≦L1と設定し、湾曲部3c2の厚さ方向の弾性変形能を利用して、爪片3cをスリット穴1e1に嵌め入れるものである。すなわち、湾曲部3c2をその下端(S2)からスリット穴1e1に挿入してゆくと、S1〉L2≧S2であるため、湾曲部3c2の凸曲側の中央部と両側部3c3がそれぞれスリット穴1e1の長寸法L1側の壁面と接触し、湾曲部3c2がスリット穴1e1によって厚さ方向に圧縮されて弾性変形する。この時、湾曲部3c2の両側部3c3が厚さ方向に傾斜した形状になっているので(S1〉S2)、湾曲部3c2が受ける圧縮力はスリット穴1e1への挿入寸法に比例して漸次に増大してゆき、これに伴い、湾曲部3c2の弾性変形量は漸次に増加してゆく。そして、湾曲部3c2は、その上端(S1)がスリット穴1e1を貫通した時点で弾性復元し、S1〉L2となる。この時、スリット穴1eには首部3c1が挿入されている。

以上のようにして、取付金具3の爪片3cを、湾曲部3c2を弾性変形させながらスリット穴1e1を貫通させて首部3c1まで嵌め入れると、天蓋2を上方向にずらそうとする力に対しては湾曲部3c2の上端(S1)と上かまち1eとの係合力が働き、前後左右方向にずらそうとする力に対しては首部3c1と上かまち1eとの係合力が働くことにより、爪片3cがスリット穴1e1から抜けなくなる。これにより、取付金具3が容器1の開口部Aの縁に固定される。この固定力は、上方向及び前後左右方向に作用する。また、爪片3cをスリット穴1eに嵌め入れる際、厚さ方向に傾斜した両側端部3c3が湾曲部3c2の挿入を円滑に案内するので、固定作業に大きな力を必要とせず、しかも過大な嵌め入れ力による爪片3cの座屈変形も防止される。

つぎに、第2の態様は、W1〉L1≧W2、S1≦L2と設定し、湾曲部3c2の幅方向の弾性変形能を利用して、爪片3cをスリット穴1e1に嵌め入れるものである。すなわち、湾曲部3c2をその下端(W2)からスリット穴1e1に挿入してゆくと、W1〉L1≧W2であるため、湾曲部3c2の両側部3c3がそれぞれスリット穴1e1の短寸法L2側の壁面と接触し、湾曲部3c2がスリット穴1e1によって幅方向に圧縮されて弾性変形する。そして、湾曲部3c2は、その上端(W1)がスリット穴1e1を貫通した時点で弾性復元し、W1〉L1となる。この時、スリット穴1eには首部3c1が挿入されている。その他の基本的な作用、および、効果は上記第1の態様と同様であるので重複する説明を省略する。

取付金具3の取付固定は、内爪部3d’を支柱1cの外側壁面に接触させ、これを、主に側縁部3b1の弾性変形によって外側に変位させながら外側壁面上を下方に滑らせてゆく。内爪部3d’は、その上端がスリット穴1c1に達した時点で内側に復元変位し、図8bに示すように、スリット穴1c1に嵌まり込む。同時に、平板部3aに設けられた4つの爪片3c’も支柱1cの中空穴1c2に嵌まり込む。

尚、輸送容器の前後左右寸法が大きい場合には、その辺部の固定状態が不十分になることもあり得る。このような場合には、例えば図12に示すような構造を併用すると良い。この構造は、天蓋2の側縁部2bの下端を内側にU字状に折り返し加工した係合部2cを、上かまち1eの外側縁部1e5を外側に切り起こした爪部1e6に係合させるものである。外側側縁部1e5の下端は、外側にU字状に湾曲した後、上方に延在している。尚、同図に示す構造は、本出願人による特願平6−151853号に含まれた種々の構造のうちの一つであるが、同出願に含まれる他の構造を同様に用いても良い。

【発明の効果】
本発明は以下に示す効果を有する。

(1)上方向、前後左右方向に安定した固定力を持つので、天蓋の横ずれや歪みに対しても固定力の低下が生じにくく、安定した固定状態を維持できる。

(2)取付金具は天蓋の内側面に固定され、外部に露出しないので、荷降などの際、他部材との当接によって爪片又は爪部に変形をきたす心配がなく、安定した固定力を維持できる。

(3)爪片又は爪部をスリット穴に嵌め入れるだけで良いので、天蓋の取付作業をワンタッチでしかも簡単に行なうことができる。

(4)爪片又は爪部とスリット穴との係合構造なので、構造が比較的簡単であり、コスト面でも有利である。
