図７に示す従来の数珠について説明すると、通常１０８個、或はそれよりも少数の小珠１２に形成された貫通孔に撚り糸１３を挿通して複数の小珠１２、１２…を輪形に形成し、該小珠１２、１２…の途中に配した大珠１４の貫通孔内で撚り糸１３を結び止めると共に、この大珠１４の貫通孔内に２本または３本の梵天２を成す編み糸１５を結んだ構成とされている。また、夫々の梵天２の途中には小珠１２、１２…が設けられている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、上記のような欠点を解消するためになされたもので、数珠に設けられた梵天の周囲を保護してその形状を永続的に維持すると共に、梵天の見栄えを良くするようにした数珠の梵天カバーを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の目的を達成するために、本発明の数珠の梵天カバーは、一端を基端とし、他端を編端とする一本の糸の前記基端に対して前記編端で大輪を形成しながら該大輪の袂に前記編端を掛けて曲げ返すことによって小輪を形成し、該小輪の中に前記編端を挿通することにより第１の結び目を形成し、数珠の梵天とほぼ同様の直径を有する円柱形の案内棒の外周に前記大輪を通したうえで、前記基端は小輪に引っかけて上方へ折り曲げる一方、第1の結び目を大輪にずらすことにより第１の遊びを形成し、第１の遊びの幅と同幅の第２の遊びの幅をあけて大輪に編端を挿通すると共に、該編端を大輪と第２の遊びとの間に挿通することにより第２の結び目を形成し、これらの第２の遊びと第２の結び目と同様にそれに続く遊びと結び目を形成して一周を成した後、既に形成してある前記夫々の遊びに対して次の周の遊びと結び目を形成することにより、前記遊びと前記結び目からなる伸縮性を有する円筒形の網目を形成して成り、該円筒形の網目を梵天の外周に包囲し、前記基端と前記編端の端部を絞りこみむことによって該円筒形の網目を前記梵天の形状に倣って球形に形成して前記梵天を覆うようにしたことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施例について図面を参照しながら説明する。

図１または図２に示すように、本発明による数珠の梵天カバー３は、数珠１に設けられた梵天２の周囲を糸で網目に編んだ梵天カバー３によって覆うようにしたものであり、梵天２の形状に倣った球形を成すものである。

図３(a) に示すように、本発明による梵天カバー３は、一本の絹糸その他の種類の糸４を網状に編むことによって形成するもので、糸４の一端を基端５とし、それに対する他端を編端６として編んでいくようにする。なお、図示において編端６は必要な長さを有するが、説明の便宜上、途中から破断したものとして図示してある。

梵天カバー３の編み方は、まず、図３(a) に示すように、基端５に対して編端６で大輪７を形成しながらこの大輪７の袂に編端６を掛けて曲げ返すことによって小輪８を形成する。

以上のように構成された本発明の数珠の梵天カバーによれば、数珠に設けられた梵天の周囲を糸で網目に編んだ梵天カバーで覆うことにより、数珠に設けられた梵天を保護すると共に、梵天の形状を永続的に維持することができ、さらに梵天の見栄えに高級感が加わり、意匠性においても優れたものとなる。
