この発明は遊技盤の下方の遊技部材取付部に滞留した遊技球を排出しうるようにした弾球遊技機に関する。

従来の弾球遊技機においては、遊技領域が形成された遊技盤と、遊技球を遊技領域へ導くための発射レールと遊技状態に応じて払出装置から払出される遊技球を前面側に導く球流出口とが少なくとも設けられた遊技部材取付部と、遊技部材取付部の前面側にて一側方を軸に開閉可能に配設された球貯留部材とが設けられた弾球遊技機がある。
この球貯留部材には遊技部材取付部の球流出口と遊技球が流通可能に連通される球払出口と、球払出口より流出してきた遊技球を貯留可能な球貯留部と、球貯留部に貯留されている遊技球を発射レールの発射位置に供給する球供給装置とが設けられている。
そして、前述した遊技部材取付部40は図12に示すように、一般的には取付面41’と、前記取付面41’の前面側端部に設けられた下壁42’等により構成されている。
尚、このような弾球遊技機においては、球流出口と球払出口は球貯留部材が閉鎖された状態においては連通状態なると共に、球供給装置による発射レールへの遊技球供給が可能となり、球貯留部材が開放された状態においては、球流出口と球払出口が非連通状態となると共に球供給装置による発射レールへの遊技球供給が不可能となる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、このような弾球遊技機においては、例えば球貯留部材の開放時に遊技部材取付部の球流出口、球貯留部材の球排出口、球供給装置から遊技球がこぼれる等して遊技部材取付部内、例えば、遊技部材取付部を形成する取付面の下壁面等、本来遊技球が停留すべきでない個所に遊技球が停留してしまうことがあり、遊技球が停留された状態で球貯留部材を閉鎖してしまうと遊技部材取付部、球供給装置等や、その他の部材を変形させる等して弾球遊技機に弊害を齎す虞がある。

弾球遊技機の全体構造
図1および図2において、弾球遊技機は側枠1と、該側枠1の一側に開閉自在に軸支されかつ前面枠体2と、裏面の機構基板3とにより構成されている。該側枠1の開口4に金枠5が設けられ、この金枠5の上部に金属製ガラス板収容枠6が開閉自由に備えられ、かつその前面下部に球貯留部8が固着される球貯留部材7が開閉自由に設けられ、さらに該球貯留部材7の下方の前面枠体2に球貯留部9が固定され、操作ハンドル10等が備えられている。前記前面枠体2には遊技盤11を嵌合する遊技面収容開口21が設けられ、その開口の背面から遊技盤11が当てられ、側枠1と遊技盤11の背面に機構基板3が開閉係脱可能に設けられる。

側枠1は木製板材で枠組みし、その一側上下に軸支手段13が備えられ、前面枠体2が開閉自由に軸支される。この側枠1の開放側の内側上下に鍵装置14と係脱して前面枠体2を開閉するための係止金具15が取付られ、該前面枠体2は一側において側枠1に軸支手段13により開閉自在に取付けられ、他側に設けた鍵装置14が係止金具15に係脱可能に設けられる。この側枠1の開口4には周囲に金枠5が設けられ、この金枠5にガラス板収容枠6が一側で開閉自由に軸支され、ガラス枠の他端の係止部材が金枠5の内面に設けた係止板に係脱する構造とされている。かつ金枠5の下部に球貯留部8が備えられた球貯留部材7が軸支手段で開閉自由に設けられるとともに開放側を係止手段76等で係脱可能に備えられている、さらに該球貯留部材7の下方の前面枠体2に球貯留部9が固定され、操作ハンドル10等が備えられている。側枠と前面枠体の枠を木製とし、合成樹脂製の中枠体を設けた場合を示したが、これに限られるものではなく、例えば側枠、前面枠体、中枠体を合成樹脂製とするもの、前面枠体と中枠体を一体、或いは一体的に設けるものなども含むものである。

図6および図7において、前面枠体2の中枠体20には、上部に前記遊技盤収容開口21が設けられ、該遊技盤収容開口21に遊技盤11が裏面より嵌合される。該中枠体20の背面側の左右上下には遊技盤11の裏面に対して係脱しうる係止部材30が回動可能に軸支され、かつ下部中央にも別の係止部材31が回動可能に軸支されている。係止部材30、31は係止部と操作部を有し、操作部を回動して、遊技盤に係脱可能とされている。また、遊技盤11の背面には入賞球の合成樹脂製排出路32が設けられ、その背面には中央制御回路基板収容ケース33等が取付けられている。かつ、遊技盤11の下部にはアウト球排出口29に連通してアウト球排出溝34が形成されている。

前記中枠体20の下部の遊技部材取付部40は、取付面41と下壁面42とから成り、遊技球を前記遊技領域へ導くための発射レール45と、遊技状態に応じて払出装置96から払出される遊技球を前面側に導く球流出口47とが少なくとも設けられている。実施形態では、前記球貯留部材7の背面に相当する位置に、発射レールユニット収容部44が形成されて発射レール45等からなる発射レールユニット46が装着され、かつその発射レールユニット46とは反対側に球貯留部材7の前面に取付ける球貯留部8に背面の機構基板3に備えたセーフ球検出器の信号により球払出し装置96から球導出経路を通じて払出される球を排出する球流出口47を形成した球ユニット収容部48と、球嵌まり込み防止板49とが形成され、その下部の取付面41の中央に円形のスピーカー収容部50が形成され、そのスピーカー収容部の両側、すなわち球ユニット収容部の下面と発射レールユニット収容部の下面の前面に向けて(前面に突設して)下壁面42が構成されている。

前記遊技部材取付部40の球流出口47と前記球貯留部材7の球払出口19は、前記球貯留部材7が開放された状態においては非連通状態となり、前記球貯留部材7が閉鎖された状態においては連通状態となる構成とされている。
上記構成とすると、前記遊技部材取付部40の球流出口47と前記球貯留部材7の球払出口19は、球貯留部材7が開放状態の時は非連通状態となるので、球流出口47や球払出口19から遊技球がこぼれやすくなるが、前記傾斜部42aによってこぼれ落ちた遊技球を遊技機外部に排出することができる。また球流出口47と球払出口19は球貯留部材7が閉鎖状態の時は連通状態となっているので払い出される遊技球は球流出口から球払出口に流れて球貯留部材の球貯留部に流れるので遊技球が遊技部材取付部にこぼれ落ちることがなくなる。

球ユニット収容部48の球流出口47は、後述の機構基板3に備えられる球払出し装置96から払出される球、或いは貸し球を排出する球経路98に球出口99が関連設置され、セーフ球入賞時に球払出し装置96から払出される球が球出口99から該球流出口47を介して球貯留部材7の球払出口19から球貯留部8に排出される。

この実施例は前記遊技部材取付部40にこぼれ落ちた遊技球を前記遊技部材取付部40の外部へ誘導するための傾斜部42aが形成されたものである。前記遊技部材取付部40は少なくとも取付面41と取付面下部に形成された下壁面42から構成され、前記傾斜部42aは前記下壁面42に形成される。前記下壁面42は前記取付面41の前面側に突設されると共に前記傾斜部42aは遊技機前面側に遊技球を誘導する傾斜とされている。該傾斜部42aの傾斜角度は、球貯留部材7を開放時に少なくともこぼれ落ちた球が自然に転がり落ちる角度とする。前記遊技部材取付部40の下壁面42の傾斜部42aの先端は少なくとも前面枠体2に設けられた球貯留部材開口部下方側の前面枠体2の上面と同じ高さか、或いは若干高くして、前記遊技部材取付部40にこぼれ落ちた遊技球が前面枠体2に当って停留することのないようにしておく。
なお、前面枠体2の開口に取り付けられている金枠5に球貯留部材7の下辺が嵌合する断面コ字状嵌合部を設けたものでは、傾斜部の先端の高さをその断面コ字状嵌合部と同じか、或いは若干高くして、こぼれ落ちる遊技球がコ字状嵌合部に当って停留することのないようにしておく。

上記構成とすると、遊技部材取付部40にこぼれ落ちた遊技球を遊技部材取付部の外部へ誘導するための傾斜部42aが形成されたので、遊技部材取付部40にこぼれ落ちた遊技球が遊技部材取付部に停留することなく傾斜部42aの上を遊技球が転がって遊技部材取付部の外部(前面側或いは裏面側)へ誘導できるため、遊技部材取付部に停留した遊技球が原因となる弾球遊技機の故障を防止できる。

前記傾斜部42aは遊技機前面側へ誘導する傾斜とした構成とした場合には、遊技部材取付部にこぼれ落ちた遊技球が遊技部材取付部に停留することなく傾斜部の上を遊技球が転がって遊技機前面側に転がり、遊技部材取付部内に遊技球が停留することなく、前面に転がってきた遊技球を再使用することができる。また、前面に転がるので、時には自然と球貯留部材の下側に設けられた球貯留部9内に誘導される場合もある。

図10において、遊技部材取付部40の別の実施形態を示すもので、前記下壁面42は前記取付面41の前面側に突設されると共に前記傾斜部42aは遊技機裏面側に遊技球を誘導する傾斜とされている。
この実施形態では、下壁面が取付面の裏面側に突設され、傾斜部42aを遊技機裏面側へ誘導する傾斜とした構成としたので、遊技部材取付部40にこぼれ落ちた遊技球が遊技部材取付部に停留することなく傾斜部42aの上を遊技球が転がって遊技機裏面側に転がり、遊技部材取付部内に遊技球が停留することなく、裏面に転がった遊技球を遊技機が設置されている遊技機設置島に誘導される。傾斜部を裏面側へ遊技球が誘導される構成として、下壁面42aの前面を高くして裏面側へ傾斜させた傾斜部42aを設け、その傾斜面に連続して取付面41に誘導穴51が設けられる。この誘導穴51に遊技機設置島に誘導する球排出路等を関連させて設け、遊技部材取付部の傾斜部42aの上より遊技機裏面側に転がる遊技球を遊技機設置島に誘導できるようを設けると効果的である。前記遊技部材取付部40の下壁面42の傾斜部42aの先端は少なくとも前面枠体2に設けられた球貯留部材開口部下方側の前面枠体2の上面と同じ高さか、或いは金枠のコの字状嵌合部と同じ高さか、或いは若干高くして、前記遊技部材取付部40にこぼれ落ちる遊技球が主に背面側へ転がるようにしておく。

遊技部材取付部40の構成としては、前記実施形態のほか、こぼれ落ちた遊技球が前記球貯留部材が開放時において、前記遊技部材取付部の外部に排出される構成とする。また、前記遊技部材取付部40の前記傾斜部42aにこぼれ落ちた遊技球が遊技機外部に排出される構成とする。

球貯留部材
図3、図4において、金枠5の下部に備えられた球貯留部材7を説明する。球貯留部材7は金属製、合成樹脂製の長方形状板材で、前記球流出口47と遊技球が流通可能に連通される背面側に角筒状に突出した球払出口19と、前面に前記球払出口19より流出してきた遊技球を貯留可能とされた球貯留部8と、球貯留部8の球を供給する通路71と、該通路71に球抜き孔が設けられ、かつ裏面に該球貯留部8に貯留されている遊技球を前記通路71より前記発射レール45の発射位置に供給する球供給装置16とが設けられている。この球貯留部材7は遊技部材取付部の前面側にて一側方を軸に開閉可能に配設されている。この球貯留部材7の開閉構造は、該部材の一側の枢支側の上部に支軸部73が設けられるとともに下部にバネにより下方へ付勢された支軸74が上下摺動可能に備えられ、他側の開放側には上部に操作部75を突出して設けた係止手段76がバネにより下方へ付勢されて備えられ、前記一側の上部の支軸部73はガラス板収容枠側に備えた支軸に軸支され、かつ下部の支軸74は金枠の支持孔に挿入されて、球貯留部材7は一側の支軸を支点として開閉自由に備えられ、開放側の係止手段76が金枠の係止部に係脱可能に備えられている。また、球貯留部の前面には、球貸しのボタン78、カード返却ボタン79、カードの残額表示手段80、球抜き用押しボタン81等が設けられている。

前記打球供給制御部材87は円形の合成樹脂製回転体で、支軸で回動自由に支持され、かつ自然状態では下方に回動するように重心が置かれている。また、打球供給制御部材87は打球供給通路部、球抜き板の先端の打球待機部で遊技球を上面で受け止める球受け止部と、上方に回動されたとき球受け止部から落下する遊技球を受け入れて保持し、かつ下方に回動されたときその遊技球を発射レール45の発射部に送り出す球受け凹部が形成されている。
また、球抜き装置は押しボタン81、作用部材、前記球抜き板等からなり、押しボタン81を押圧して、球抜き板を球抜き口を開放する位置に移動させて球抜きを行うことができる構成としてある。

図2において、前面枠体2に装着した遊技盤11の背面を覆うように遊技盤背面側に装備されるとともに弾球遊技機内に収容された前面枠体2に対して開閉可能にされ、固定手段で止められる機構基板3を示す。機構基板3は、合成樹脂製ベース体90の中央部に遊技盤11の背面の中央制御回路基板等が露出する四角形の開口91が形成され、該ベース体90の背面上部に球タンク92が、その下部にタンクレール93を構成するタンクレールカバー94が取着され、前記球タンク92から球払出し装置96へ球を流下させる球誘導路95が構成される。この球誘導路95に球払出し装置96を有する球払出し駆動ユニット97が装着される。該球払出し駆動ユニット97の球払出し装置96は球貸し要求や入賞の発生に伴って所定個数の球(貸し球、賞球)を払出す回転体および回転体を駆動するモータが収納されセーフ球誘導路でセーフ球を逐一球切りして検出するセーフ球検出装置におけるセーフ球通過の信号に基づき所定個数づつ、例えば15個、8個、7個づつ球が払い出され、前記球流出口47を通じ球払出口19より払い出されるものである。
