【発明の詳細な説明】 【0001】 【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、遊技盤と受容口に
導かれた遊技球を遊技盤における所定の入賞条件に基づ
いて払出口から払い出す払出装置と、遊技球を払出装置
の受容口に導く球通路とを備える弾球遊技機に関し、さ
らに詳細には、この球通路に残留する遊技球を強制的に
排出させる球抜き機構に関する。 【0002】 【従来の技術】上記のような球抜き機構を有する弾球遊
技機の代表例としてパチンコ機がある。パチンコ機は、
多数本の遊技釘や風車、種々の入賞装置等が所定のゲー
ジ設定で配設された遊技盤と、この遊技盤における所定
の入賞条件に基づいて遊技球の払い出しを行う払出装置
と、タンク部材に貯留された遊技球を整列させて流下さ
せ払出装置に導く球通路とを備えて構成される。 【0003】球通路の途上には、一般に、所定の通路位
置に遊技球があるか否かを検出することで、この通路位
置と払出装置との間の球通路(「賞球待機通路」と称さ
れる)に払い出しに必要な所定数量の遊技球が待機され
ているか否かを検出する球有無検出スイッチが配設され
ており、この検出スイッチで球無し状態が検出されたと
きには、次回以降の払い出し中に払い出すべき遊技球が
不足するおそれがあるため払出装置の作動を規制するよ
うに構成されている。また、球通路の途上には、球有無
検出スイッチや払出装置の点検作業、交換作業、球通路
の清掃作業などパチンコ機の保守作業を行うときに機体
内部に残留する遊技球を強制的に排出させる球抜き機構
が設けられている。 【0004】従来の球抜き機構は、例えば、タンク部材
の下部に樋面が緩く傾斜して取り付けられた整列樋部材
の出口領域に設けられており、この整列樋部材内の球通
路(「予備賞球通路」と称される)を通る遊技球を球有
無検出スイッチよりも上流側で球抜き通路に排出させる
ように構成されていた。また、近年では、球有無検出ス
イッチの保守作業を容易化するため、球有無検出スイッ
チよりも上流側の予備賞球通路に遊技球の流れを止める
球止め機構を設けるとともに、球有無検出スイッチの直
下に球抜き機構を設け、球止め機構を利用して球止め処
理を行い球抜き機構を利用して球抜き処理を行うことに
より、球有無検出スイッチの近傍領域に位置する遊技球
のみを球抜き通路に排出させる球抜き機構が考案されて
いる。 【0005】 【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら、上記の
ような従来の球抜き機構では、球抜き処理される遊技球
が予備賞球通路よりも上流側、あるいは球有無検出スイ
ッチの直下位置までであり、賞球待機通路内に球抜き機
構で抜ききれない残留球が生じていた。このため、例え
ば払出装置の保守作業を行う際に払出装置を取り外すと
上記賞球待機通路に残る残留球がこぼれ落ちるという問
題があり、また残留球を排出させるために逐一払出装置
を着脱しなければならないとすれば、作業が繁雑であり
処理手段として適切でないという問題があった。 【0006】一方、上記問題に対処するため、球抜き機
構を利用して遊技球を排出させた後に、払出装置を強制
的に作動させて遊技球を球皿に払い出させるように構成
した球抜き装置も考案されている。しかしながら、球有
無検出スイッチを有する弾球遊技機では、この検出スイ
ッチが配設された通路位置に遊技球がなくなって球無し
状態が検出されると以降払出装置の作動が規制されるた
め、この規制を解除させるための機構装置を付加するこ
とが必要であり、ソフトウェアを含む装置構成が複雑に
なるうえ球抜き処理が煩雑であるという問題があった。
さらに、このように払出装置を強制的に作動させる装置
では、払出装置や制御装置にトラブルが発生して作動不
能になったときに残留球を強制排出させることができ
ず、結果として前述同様の問題を内包していた。 【0007】本発明は、上記のような課題に鑑みて成さ
れたものであり、簡明な構成かつ簡単な操作で上記球こ
ぼれ等の問題を解消して残留球を減少させた球抜き機構
を提供することを目的とする。 【0008】 【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的達成のため、本
発明は、遊技盤と、この遊技盤における所定の入賞条件
に基づいて、上部の受容口に導かれた遊技球を下部の払
出口から払い出す払出装置(例えば実施形態における賞
球カセット54)と、払出装置の上方に設けられ所定の
球供給源(例えば実施形態におけるタンク部材41)か
ら供給される遊技球を受容口に導く球通路(例えば実施
形態における賞球待機通路53a,53b)と、球通路
における受容口の直上部に位置する通路壁に設けられた
開口部と、この開口部を開閉可能に覆って取り付けられ
開口部を開放して球通路を通る遊技球を開口部から排出
させることができる開閉部材(例えば実施形態における
下部開閉部材531)とを備えて弾球遊技機の球抜き機
構を構成する。 【0009】このような構成の球抜き機構では、球通路
における受容口の直上部に位置する球通路に開口部が設
けられるとともに、この開口部を開閉可能に覆って取り
付けられた開閉部材を備えており、開口部を開放して球
通路を通る遊技球を開口部から排出させることができる
ように球抜き機構が構成されている。このため、上記球
抜き機構によれば、払出装置よりも上流側の球通路に遊
技球が残留することがなく、払出装置の保守作業やトラ
ブル発生等で払出装置を取り外す際に球通路内の残留球
が周囲にこぼれ落ちる問題がない。また、払出装置の直
上部に位置する通路壁を開閉する構成のため、簡明な機
構構成かつ簡単な操作で球抜き処理が可能な球抜き機構
を提供することができる。 【0010】 【発明の実施の形態】以下、本発明の好ましい実施形態
について図面を参照しながら説明する。本発明に係る球
抜き機構を備えた弾球遊技機の代表例として、図1およ
び図2にパチンコ機PMを例示しており、まず、両図を
参照しながらパチンコ機PMの全体構成について要約説
明する。なお、図1はパチンコ機PMを正面側から見た
正面図、図2はパチンコ機PMを裏面側から見た背面図
(遊技盤の裏面構成を記載省略している)である。 【0011】パチンコ機PMは、外郭方形枠サイズに構
成されて縦向きの固定保持枠をなす外枠1の開口前面
に、これに合わせた方形枠サイズに構成されて開閉搭載
枠をなす前枠2が互いの左側縁に配設された上下のヒン
ジ部材3a,3bにより横開き開閉および着脱可能に取
り付けられ、常には右側縁に設けられた施錠装置4を利
用して外枠1に閉鎖施錠された状態で保持される。 【0012】前枠2の正面側には、前枠2の前側面域に
合わせた方形状のガラス扉5、および遊技球を貯留して
整列させる上球皿6が、ともに左側縁に内蔵されたヒン
ジ機構により横開き開閉および着脱が可能に組付けられ
ており、常には施錠装置4および図示しないロック機構
を利用して前枠2の前面を覆う閉止状態で保持される。
前枠2の下部には遊技球を貯留する下球皿7設けられ、
この下球皿7と並んで遊技球の発射操作を行う操作ハン
ドル8が取り付けられている。 【0013】前枠2の裏面上部には、図示省略する方形
枠状の収容枠が前枠2と一体に成形されており、この収
容枠に所定のゲージ設定で構成された遊技盤20が着脱
交換可能にセット保持され、その前面域をガラス扉5に
臨ませている。遊技盤20は、表面にセルが貼り付けら
れた化粧板21の前面側に、帯状の外レール22aおよ
び内レール22bが円弧状に固設され、これらのレール
に囲まれた内側に遊技領域PAが区画される。遊技領域
PAには、多数本の遊技釘とともに複数の風車23、一
般入賞具24や始動入賞具25並びに大入賞口を備えた
アタッカー26等の入賞装置、および遊技の進行状態に
応じて所定の図柄を表示させる図柄表示装置28などが
取り付けられ、遊技領域PAの下端には入賞装置に入賞
せずに落下した遊技球を遊技盤20の裏面側に排出させ
るアウト口27が設けられている。 【0014】前枠2の裏面下部には打球発射装置9が取
り付けられており、打球発射装置9と遊技盤20との間
には、打球発射装置9によって打ち出された遊技球を外
レール22aに向けて案内する発射レールや、効果音を
発生させるスピーカ等が取り付けられている。発射レー
ルやスピーカ等は上球皿6の裏側に位置する前枠2の表
面側中間領域に取り付けられており、常には閉鎖状態に
保持される上球皿6によりその表面側が覆われている。 【0015】前枠2の裏側に位置して裏セット盤BSP
が上下のヒンジ18,18で横開き開閉及び着脱が可能
に装備され、常には閉鎖レバー19,19…を用いて遊
技盤20の裏面を覆うように閉鎖保持される。裏セット
盤BSPは、中央部に表裏貫通する窓口31を有して外
枠1の内寸サイズよりも幾分小さめの方形形状に一体成

出されたアウト球およびセーフ球などの遊技済み球や、
後述する球抜き通路71,72に排出された遊技球を遊
技施設側の回収バケットに排出させる遊技済み球排出経

パチンコ機の作動を統括的に制御するメイン基板91

作動制御を行う画像制御基板(図示せず)などの各種の
回路基板が着脱交換可能に取り付けられ、各機器が図示
しないワイヤーハーネスで接続されてパチンコ機PMが

上球皿6、裏セット盤BSP等がそれぞれ閉鎖された状
態で遊技に供される。遊技は上球皿6に遊技球を貯留さ
せて操作ハンドル8を回動操作することにより開始さ
れ、上球皿6に貯留された遊技球が打球発射装置9によ
り操作ハンドル8の回動操作角度に応じた強度で1球ず
つ遊技領域PAに打ち出され、以降パチンコゲームが展
開される。 【0019】次に、以上のように概要構成されるパチン
コ機にあって、球貯留供給機構40に貯留された遊技球
が賞球払出機構50から賞球払出経路60に払い出され
るまでの球通路の構成および遊技球の流れについて、図
3〜図5を併せて参照しつつ説明する。ここで、図3は
賞球払出機構50の主要部を示し図2に示した背面図か
ら蓋部材57等を取り外した状態で賞球払出機構50の
球通路(「賞球待機通路」という)および上下の球抜き
機構の概要構成を示す背面図、図4は図3中の矢印IV〜
に沿った側断面図、図5は賞球払出機構50の周辺部を
裏セット盤BSPの前面側(遊技盤側)から見た正面図
である。なお、以降では裏セット盤BSPを背面側から
見た構成を主として説明するため、説明の便宜上、図2
における左右方向を左方または右方と称し、紙面直交方
向の向こう側(パチンコ機PMの前面側)を前方、手前
側(同裏面側)を後方と称して説明する。 【0020】球貯留供給機構40は、基枠体30の上部
に取り付けられ遊技球を貯留するタンク部材41と、こ
のタンク部材41の下部に位置して基枠体30に取り付
けられタンク部材41から供給される遊技球(「予備賞
球」という)を払出賞球機構50に導く整列樋部材42
とを主体として構成される。タンク部材41は上面が開
放された箱状体をなし、緩く左傾および前傾された底面
の左前方部に形成された出口開口で下方に位置する整列
樋部材42の予備賞球通路と繋がっている。 【0021】整列樋部材42は、その取付姿勢において
前後の壁面および通路面に囲まれた樋状体をなし、この
樋内にタンク部材41と賞球払出機構50との間を結ん
で通路面が緩く傾斜する予備賞球通路が形成される。整
列樋部材42の前後中央には通路面から上方に突出し下
流側に向けて徐々に背が高くなるリブが立設され、予備
賞球通路の下流領域がこのリブによって前後二列に仕切
られている。また整列樋部材42の左右中間部上方には
基枠体30に揺動自在に縣吊されて予備賞球通路上に下
垂する球ならし振り子43が取り付けられ、整列樋部材
42の下流部には予備賞球通路の上方を覆い通路面との
上下間隔が下流側に向けて徐々に狭くなるように樋出口
カバーが設けられるとともに、この予備賞球通路を流下
する予備賞球の流れを止める球止め機構44が予備賞球
通路に出没変位可能に取り付けられている。整列樋部材
42の下流端部は滑らかに折り曲げられて下方に開口す
る偏向出口45が形成され、下方に位置する賞球払出機
構50と繋がっている。このように構成される予備賞球
通路では、タンク部材41から供給された予備賞球が予
備賞球通路を流下する過程で徐々に平坦化および整列化
され、偏向出口45から前後二列に整列された状態で賞
球払出機構50に供給される。 【0022】賞球払出機構50は、基枠体30と蓋部材
57との間に取り付けられて、偏向出口45から供給さ
れる予備賞球を前後二列の整列状態で下方の賞球カセッ
ト54に導くとともに、所定数量の予備賞球を待機保持
させる待機通路部材53と、この待機通路部材53の下
部に位置して基枠体30に着脱可能に取り付けられ、待
機通路部材53を通して供給される予備賞球を所定の払
出条件に基づいて賞球払出経路60に払い出す賞球カセ
ット54とを主体として構成される。 【0023】待機通路部材53の直上部には、この通路
位置に予備賞球があるか否かを検出することで、以下に
説明する賞球待機通路53a,53bに所定数量の予備
賞球が待機されているか否かを検知する球有無検出スイ
ッチ52が前後方向に着脱可能に取り付けられ、また、
賞球カセット54とこの賞球カセットの下方に形成され
る賞球払出経路60との間には、賞球カセット54から
払い出された遊技球を検出する賞球検出センサ55,5
5が基枠体30に対して横開き開閉可能なセンサホルダ

に支持孔部53c,53dが挿抜自在に支持される。そ
して、このように支持された背面側から蓋部材57をネ
ジ固定することにより、基枠体30と蓋部材57との間
に挟持されるように取り付けられる。 【0025】ここで、待機通路部材53の右側通路壁5
3Rは、球有無検出スイッチ52の直下に位置する領域
が切り欠かれて上部開口53s(図10を参照)が形成

き領域の通路壁を形成する。また、右側通路壁53Rは
賞球カセット54の受容口54a,54b(図3では後
列側の受容口54bのみが現れている)の直上に位置す
る領域が欠かれて下部開口53t(図10を参照)が形
成されており、常には、後述する下部球抜き機構530
の通路壁部531Rがこの下部開口53tを覆って切り
欠き領域の通路壁を形成する。これにより、待機通路部
材53を主体として、仕切壁53wの前後に左右の通路
壁53L,53Rに囲まれた前後各一列の賞球待機通路
53a,53b(図3では後列側の賞球待機通路53b
のみが現れている)が形成される。 【0026】なお賞球待機通路53a,53bの通路長
は、払出作動時に賞球カセット54から払い出される最
大球数(例えば25球)に基づいて設定され、賞球払出
機構50を小型に構成しかつ球抜き処理時の円滑な球流

カセット係止片34bが三カ所形成されるとともに、上
部二カ所のカセット係止片34b,34bの間に、左右
および下辺が切り離されてアーム状に延びその下端部に
後方に突出する突起部が形成されたカセットロック片3
4cが一体成形されている。一方、カセットケース54
1の背面には、上記カセット係止片34bを受容して係
脱可能に係合する係止片受容孔541b(図10を参
照)が三カ所形成されるとともに、上記カセットロック
片34cの突起部と係脱可能なロック片受容溝が形成さ
れている。 【0030】賞球カセット54の取り付けは、カセット
ケース背面の三カ所の係止片受容孔541bを賞球カセ
ット取付部の三カ所のカセット係止片34bに位置合わ
せして上方にスライド移動させることで行われ、各三カ

相互に係合して連結し、カセットロック片34cの係合
突起がロック片受容溝と係合することで賞球カセット5

120度間隔で三カ所形成されるとともに、前後の受容
溝の位置が相互に60度間隔となるようにオフセットし

bに導かれてインペラ544の上部に到達した予備賞球
は、賞球カセット54の払出作動、すなわちインペラ5
44の回転に伴って交互に1個ずつ前・後のインペラ5
44a・544bの受容溝に受け入れられ、この受容溝
の回転移動に従って左側または右側の案内通路に移動さ
れ、この案内通路を通って左右いずれかの払出口54
c,54dから払い出される。 【0033】賞球カセット54による遊技球の払出作動
は、所定条件のもと球払出基板92から出力される払出
指令信号に基づいて行われる。賞球カセット54は、払
出指令信号に基づいてステッピングモータを作動させ、
払出指令信号に応じた回転方向(時計回りまたは反時計
回り)に、払出指令信号に対応した回転角度(例えば、
払い出される賞球数で5,10,25球等に相当する回
転角度)でインペラ544を回転させ、左払出口54c
または右払出口54dから遊技球を払い出す。 【0034】例えば、入賞装置24,25,26等に遊
技球が入賞したときに、球払出基板92から出力される
払出指令信号に基づいてインペラ544を反時計回りに
回転させ、指令信号に対応した数量(例えば、5,1

に、各検出孔部が左右の払出口54c,54dの直下に
位置整合して配設されるようになっており、賞球カセッ
ト54から払い出された遊技球(賞球または貸し球、以
下これらを代表して賞球という)は左右いずれかの検出
孔部を通って賞球払出経路60に落下する。賞球検出セ
ンサ55,55の検出信号は球払出基板92に入力され
ており、球払出基板92はこれらの賞球検出センサから
入力される検出信号に基づいて払い出された賞球の実数
をカウントし、払出指令信号どおりの数量の賞球が払い
出されるように賞球カセット54の作動をフィードバッ
ク制御する。 【0036】さて、以上のように構成される賞球払出機
構50において、球有無検出スイッチ52の直下に位置
して上部球抜き機構520が設けられ、賞球カセット5
4の直上に位置して下部球抜き機構530が設けられて
いる。以下、さらに図6〜図12の各図を参照しつつ上
記二つの球抜き機構520,530について説明する。
