白米と混合して通常の炊飯を行うようにしたものであ
る。 【0005】ところで、発芽玄米を得るのに一番注意し
なくてはならないのは、前述の様に低温度、長時間とい
う通常食品が腐敗する条件下での動作を行うことにあ
る。 【0006】このため、先行技術では玄米を入れる容器
を銅の様な抗菌材料を用い、この銅の抗菌イオンによっ
て腐敗を防止するようにしている。 【0007】 【発明が解決しようとする課題】この様に玄米を発芽し
て食する場合には32〜38度の低温度で長時間加熱す
るわけであるが、32〜38度の温度は夏季の外気温に
相当し、例えば35度程度の外気温であれば加熱する必
要がない。仮に玄米と水を鍋内に入れたままで加熱しな
い状態を長時間継続した場合には自然に発芽を開始する
が、外気温が39度以上になれば加熱をしなくとも長時
間放置することにより腐敗が進行することになる。 【0008】もう一点注意しなければならない点は、通
常の電気炊飯器を用いて発芽炊飯と、通常の白米炊飯と
を行うものにあっては白米炊飯を終了した直後や70度
程度で保温していた保温動作の終了直後等、或は発芽炊
飯時に湯と玄米を鍋内に入れた場合には所望の発芽炊飯

用者には玄米の発芽を行う意志があり、且つ前述のよう
に外気温が低くても比較的温度が高い状態にある鍋では

度を確認した後、発芽炊飯の実行の可否を決定し、確か

上であることを出力した時に一定時間のカウントを開始
するタイマー手段とを備え、前記タイマー手段のタイム
アップ後に再度水温検出手段により水温を検出し所定の
低温以下の時は発芽炊飯を実行し、所定の低温度以上の
