According to the means of claim 1 described in the above (1), the positive electrode and the negative electrode can be obtained by simply rolling the multi-layered electrode material into a roll shape with the breathable insulator sandwiched therebetween. Since it is possible to provide a dust collecting electrode in which the electrodes are alternately arranged side by side and there is no spark between the electrodes, and the number of parts is small and the overall configuration and assembly are easy, it is possible to reduce the manufacturing cost. Since the manufacturing cost is low, you can easily replace it and dispose of it, thus eliminating the need for troublesome maintenance work and special equipment such as degreasing liquid and cleaning equipment, and greatly reducing the cost of use. To enable.

Further, in the dust collecting electrode 20 rolled into a roll shape shown in FIG. 5, the breathable insulator 16 is not present in the curved portions on the left and right sides because the weight of the breathable insulator 16 itself. In order to prevent the parallel gap between the left and right curved portions from being deformed or contacted with each other, the electrode material 10 is bonded to the horizontal gap in the center by interposing the breathable insulators 16 ... Only by doing so, the elasticity provided in itself holds the parallel distance between the left and right curved portions.

As described above, according to the dust collecting electrode for an electrostatic precipitator of the present invention, two conductive materials such as aluminum foil, which are used as electrodes of the dust collecting electrode, and polyethylene or polyester, for example, are used. Such a thin insulator and a breathable insulator such as a sponge that secures the gap between the electrodes can be used by rolling it into a roll shape, which makes the structure much better than conventional dust collecting electrodes. It is simple and can reduce the manufacturing cost, and because of the low manufacturing cost, it can be used as a disposable cartridge and the advantages such as maintenance can be greatly simplified. Combined with the fact that it is easy to handle, it is suitable for use in an electrostatic precipitator.
