を使用可能にして、洗面所内のスペースを有効に使用す
ることができる洗面化粧台を提供することを課題とす
る。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記課題を解決するため
に、本発明は、ミラーキャビネット２に前方Ｆに開口し
た収納部３が設けられ、収納部３の前面側に鏡４がスラ
イドレール１０によってミラーキャビネット２の側方Ｓ
に向かって突出可能に取付けられ、収納部３の鏡４が突
出する側と反対側の片側前面部分に前面開口部５を設
け、収納部３の鏡４が突出する側の側面部分に側面開口
部６を設けたことを特徴としており、このように構成す
ることで、ミラーキャビネット２の前方Ｆに鏡４を開く
スペースを設ける必要がなくなると共に、鏡４を常に使
用可能な状態にすることができ、さらにミラーキャビネ
ット２の側方Ｓ位置においても鏡４を用いて化粧、整髪
などの行為を行なうことが可能となる。
【０００６】また上記鏡４をミラーキャビネット２の前
方Ｆで使用するときには、収納部３の側面開口部６から
収納物の出し入れができ、一方、鏡４をミラーキャビネ
ット２の側方Ｓで使用するときには、収納部３の前面開
口部５が開放されるので、前面開口部５からの収納物の
出し入れができるようになり、収納部３がより使い易く
なる。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、本発明の実施形態の一例を
説明すると、洗面所７には、図１（ｂ）に示すように、
洗面ボウル８と洗面カウンター９とを備えた洗面化粧台
１が設置されており、この洗面化粧台１の上部にミラー
キャビネット２が設けられている。ミラーキャビネット
２は、図２に示すように、前方Ｆと側方Ｓに夫々開口し
た収納部３と、収納部３の前面側に配置される鏡４と、
鏡４を収納部３に対して横方向Ａにスライド自在に支持
するスライドレール１０とで構成されている。
【０００８】上記収納部３には、図３に示すように、鏡
４が突出する側と反対側の片側前面部分に前面開口部５
が設けられており、収納部３の鏡４が突出する側の側面
部分に側面開口部６が設けられている。本実施形態では
収納部３内が仕切り１５（図２（ｂ））によって２つに
仕切られており、一方の収納空間が前面開口部５を介し
て前方Ｆに開放されていると共に、他方の収納空間が側
面開口部６を介して側方Ｓに開放されている。
【０００９】上記鏡４は、図４に示すように、後述する
スライドレール１０の可動レール１２が取付けられる裏
板４ａと、裏板４ａの前面の上下両端に取付けられる一
対のミラーサッシ４ｂ，４ｂと、ミラーサッシ４ｂ，４
ｂに保持される鏡本体４ｃとで構成されている。また、
鏡４を収納部３にスライド自在に支持するためのスライ
ドレール１０は、図５及び図６に示すように、収納部３
の前面の上下両端に夫々取着されている。各スライドレ
ール１０は、収納部３側にねじ１６で固定される断面Ｃ
字状の固定レール１１と、固定レール１１内にスライド
自在に嵌合された状態で鏡４の裏板４ａ側にねじ１７で
固定される断面逆Ｃ字状の可動レール１２と、固定レー
ル１１と可動レール１２の間に介装される複数のリード
インボール１３及び各リードインボール１３を保持する
ボールリテーナー１４とで構成されており、例えば図７
の矢印方向ｂ（又は逆方向）にリードインボール１３が
回転することで可動レール１２を固定レール１１に対し
てスライド自在となり、重量が大きい鏡４であってもこ
のスライドレール１０を介して収納部３に安定良く支持
できる構造となっている。また可動レール１２は、スト
ッパー手段（図示せず）にて固定レール１１から抜け出
るのが防がれており、本実施形態では、鏡４の片側半分
がミラーキャビネット２の側方Ｓに向かって突出した状
態で、鏡４がそれ以上側方Ｓに突出できない構造となっ
ている。

込むための採光窓１８をミラーキャビネット２に隣接し
て設置した場合を示している。しかして、図１、図８
（ａ）に示すように、通常の使用状態では鏡４を収納部
３の前面側に位置させることによって、ミラーキャビネ
ット２の前方Ｆで人４０が鏡４を使用することができ、
このとき収納部３の側面開口部６から収納物の出し入れ
ができるようになる。

省くことができて使い勝手が良くなる。

置した上下一対のスライドレール１０を介して収納部３
に取付けたことによって、鏡４の重量が大きい場合でも
スライドレール１０によって鏡４をスムーズにスライド
させることが可能となり、且つ、鏡４をミラーキャビネ
ット２の側方Ｓに突出させた状態でも上下のスライドレ
ール１０によって鏡４を確実に保持できるようになり、
従って、鏡４が傾くことがなくなると共に、鏡４のスラ
イド動作をより円滑なものとすることができる。
【００１３】さらにスライドレール１０を構成する固定
レール１１は、縦断面Ｃ字状に形成されているので、鏡
４を収納部３の側方Ｓにスライドさせて固定レール１１
が外部に露出する状態となったときでも固定レール１１
は上方には開口しなくなるため、露出した固定レール１
１内にゴミやホコリが入り難くなり、また鏡４を戻した
ときには固定レール１１内に可動レール１２が収納され
るために、やはり固定レール１１内にはゴミ等が入り難
くなり、この結果、スライドレール１０の円滑な動きを
長期にわたって維持できるという利点もある。

２に隣接して採光窓１８を設けた洗面所７を例示した
が、採光窓１８のない洗面所７にも本発明の洗面化粧台

【発明の効果】以上説明したように、本発明のうち請求
項１記載の発明は、ミラーキャビネットに前方に開口し
た収納部が設けられ、収納部の前面側に鏡がスライドレ
ールによってミラーキャビネットの側方に向かって突出
可能に取付けられ、前記収納部の鏡が突出する側と反対
側の片側前面部分に前面開口部を設け、収納部の鏡が突
