ケースとそれに内蔵される伝動機構を伸縮自在な構造と
し、左右車輪間隔を変更させ、畦幅の異なりに応じて駆
動車輪の位置を調節し、畦を跨いで走行するように構成
している自走車輌と、前低後高に傾設される左右一対の
軟弾性搬送無端帯間に形成される挾持移送経路に根菜作
物の茎葉部を挾持して後上方へ移送する引抜き搬送部材

し、ミッションケースからクラッチを介して前方に延設
される作業出力軸が前後方向の伝動筒内を経て作業部駆
動ケースに突入され、作業部駆動ケースに軸受支承され
ている駆動軸に連動連結され、前記駆動軸にウォーム及
びウォームホイールを介して連動連結した上部搬送駆動
軸を上向きに 突設し、上部搬送駆動軸でもって引抜き搬
送部材における左右一対の軟弾性搬送無端帯を各々所定
の方向に回転駆動すると共に、掻込み部材は、前記引抜
き搬送部材の軟弾性搬送無端帯を掛回する輪体を備えた
前方軸で共通に回転駆動するようにしてあり、下部搬送
装置も前方軸に連動連結した伝動軸でもって回転駆動す
るように構成し、また前記駆動軸の一端を前記板から突
出し、この駆動軸の一端に前記縦駆動ケースに内装する
引起し入力軸の後端を縦駆動ケース後端の前記ギヤケー
スに内装するベベルギヤを介して連結させると共に、引
