【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところが、従来の画像
形成装置は、印刷処理した後は、それに関連するデータ
を全て消去するために、同じ画像を得るためには、再度
外部機器から印刷指令を出さなければならず、時間を要

理する画像形成装置において、印刷画像の頁単位毎に識
別符号として少なくとも画像形成装置のシリアル番号お
よび文書のシリアル番号を付与する識別符号付与部と、
前記印刷画像およびそれに対応する前記識別符号を転写
材に印刷する印刷処理部と、前記印刷画像およびそれに
対応する前記識別符号を記憶する記憶部と、前記転写材
に印刷された識別符号を読み取る識別符号読取部と、他
の外部機器にアクセス可能なネットワーク対応の制御手
段と、他の画像形成装置で記憶している印刷画像を読み
出し可能な読出手段と、を備え、前記識別符号読取部で
読み取った識別符号に含まれるシリアル番号が他の画像
形成装置である場合、前記識別符号に対応する印刷画像
を前記制御手段および読出手段にて読み取り、前記印刷
処理部で前記印刷画像または前記印刷画像と識別符号を

【発明の実施の形態】以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基
づいて詳細に説明する。図１は、本発明にかかる画像形
成装置を示す構成概略図であり、画像形成装置１は、Ｉ
／Ｆ部２、データ変換部３、記憶部４、印刷処理部５、
制御部６、識別符号付与部７、識別符号読取部８とより
なる。
【０００８】Ｉ／Ｆ部２は、ケーブルを介してコンピュ
ータ等に接続され、コンピュータ等からの印刷を希望す
る画像データを受け取る部分である。データ変換装部３
は、Ｉ／Ｆ部２で受け取った画像データを印刷処理部５
で印刷できるようなデータに変換する部分である。
【０００９】識別符号付与部７は、頁単位毎の印刷画像
に対応させて識別符号を付与する部分である。この識別
符号に含まれる情報としては、画像形成装置１のシリア
ル番号、文書のシリアル番号、パスワード等であればよ
く、これらの情報を圧縮し、暗号化し、例えばバーコー
ドとして付与すればよい。
【００１０】記憶部４は、画像形成装置１全体を制御す
るために必要なプログラム、データ変換部３で必要とな
るフォント等、印刷処理部５で印刷する印刷画像、およ
び識別符号付与部７により付与される頁単位毎の印刷画
像に対応する識別符号を記憶する部分である。印刷処理
部５は、データ変換部３で形成されたデータを転写材に
印刷し、同時にその転写材に識別符号付与部７により付
与される識別符号を印刷する部分である。制御部６は、
画像形成装置１全体を制御する部分である。
【００１１】識別符号読取部８は、転写材に印刷した識
別符号を読み取る部分であり、識別符号がバーコードの
ような表示であれば、バーコードリーダとすればよい。
【００１２】本発明によれば、転写材に印刷画像と識別
符号を印刷すると同時に、それらを記憶部４に記憶して
おくために、再度印刷が必要になった場合には、転写材
に印刷された識別符号を識別符号読取部８で読み取らせ
るだけで、記憶部４から印刷画像を取り出すことがで
き、印刷を何度でも行える。

ればよく、いずれの印刷方法とするかは、予め設定して

り、印刷したい頁のみを即座に印刷できる。
（２）印刷処理する転写材の１頁目のみに印刷する。

されなくなる。
（３）印刷処理する転写材の最終頁の次頁として印刷す
る。すなわち、２頁印刷の場合に、識別符号を３頁目に
印刷する。これにより、印刷画像が印刷されている転写
材には識別符号が一切印刷されなくなる。
（４）印刷処理する転写材の裏面に印刷する。これによ
り、印刷するものの表面には識別符号が印刷されなくな

（５）識別符号読取部８で読み取って印刷する場合は、
印刷画像のみを転写材に印刷する。これにより、識別符
号が付いているものがオリジナルで、識別符号が付いて
いないものが識別符号読取部８で読み取って印刷したも
のと判る。
（６）識別符号読取部８で読み取って印刷する場合で
も、印刷画像と識別符号を転写材に印刷する。これによ
り、印刷したもの全ての転写材が識別符号読取部８で読
み取ることができるようになるようになる。

機器にもアクセス可能なネットワーク対応の制御手段を
備え、他の装置の印刷画像を読み出して出力することが
可能な読み出し出力手段を備えれば、識別符号として画
像形成装置のシリアル番号を入れているために、他の画
像形成装置のドキュメントも引き出すことができ、印刷
画像を共有することができる。また、少なくともそのシ
