However, in each of the above-described conventional silencers, since a plurality of sound absorbing cylinders are closely arranged close to each other, for example, a guide cylinder arranged in a casing having a square cross section of 10 m on a side. Is about 50, and the weight of the silencer is increased.

Further, as described in Japanese Utility Model Application Laid-Open No. 1-95517, in order to stack a plurality of cylindrical sound absorbing cylinders in a zigzag manner, a casing having a special shape suitable for this stacking structure is required. However, there is a problem that the weight further increases as the weight increases.

Further, in each of the conventional noise reduction devices, since a plurality of sound absorbing cylinders are closely arranged close to each other, each of the sound absorbing cylinders has a different cross-sectional area with respect to the entire sectional area of the casing in which the plurality of sound absorbing cylinders are arranged. The ratio of the area occupied by the cylinder is large. For example, in the case of a cylindrical sound absorbing cylinder, the area through which fluid can pass (open area) is about half of the total cross-sectional area in the casing. For this reason, there has been a problem that the resistance to the fluid is increased and the pressure loss is large.

As described above, the silencing device 1 of the present embodiment
Is provided on the rectangular outer cylinder 4 of the sound absorbing cylinder 2 with the inclined wall 9 or the stepped recess 1.
The plurality of sound absorbing cylinders 2 can be simply and reliably staggered by joining or engaging the inclined walls 9 or the stepped concave portions 11 with each other since the inclined walls 9 are formed.

The sound waves of the fluid passing through the axial center portion and the outer peripheral portion of the sound absorbing cylinder 2 of the noise reduction device 1 are transmitted through a large number of through holes 3, 3,. .. Flows into the gap between the sound absorbing cylinders 2 through a number of through holes 5, 5,... Formed in the inner cylinder 6, and is absorbed by the sound absorbing material 7 filled in the gap between the sound absorbing cylinders 2.

Further, since the plurality of sound absorbing cylinders 2 are arranged in a staggered manner, for example, the ventilation duct 1 having a square section of 10 m on each side.
The number of used sound absorbing cylinders 2 arranged in 0 can be reduced by half from about 50 conventionally required to about 25,
Lightening of the silencer 1 can be reliably achieved. The reduction in the number of used sound absorbing cylinders 2 can reliably increase the area (open area) through which fluid can pass.

Further, since the sound absorbing tube 2 is formed in a substantially hollow rectangular tube shape having at least a long side and a short side, the ratio between the long side and the short side of the sound absorbing tube 2 is appropriately changed (for example, 1.5. : 1
5.0: 1), it is possible to correspond to the peak frequency of the sound wave to be silenced. That is, when the frequency characteristic of the sound wave to be silenced has a high peak at a specific frequency, the length dimension of the long side and the short side of the sound absorbing cylinder 2 is set so as to correspond to the peak frequency. Can be greatly attenuated to obtain a noise-canceling characteristic of providing a uniform sound pressure over the entire frequency of the sound wave.

Further, the muffler 1, 1a of the above-described embodiment is used.
Is connected to two or three stages in the fluid flow direction to form a multistage, and the sound absorbing cylinders 2 and 2a in each stage are oriented vertically and horizontally in the fluid flow direction to improve the noise reduction effect. . And each stage of the silencers 1 and 1a may be offset and arranged. Further, a suitable baffle (not shown) may be provided in the fluid flow path inside the staggered sound absorbing cylinders 2 and 2a and the fluid flow path outside the mutually opposite sound absorbing cylinders 2 and 2a as necessary. Good.

As shown in FIG. 11, a suitable engaging recess 14 is provided at the center of the long side of the rectangular inner cylinder 6 of the sound absorbing cylinder 2.
By making an appropriate sound absorbing panel 16 shown by a broken line or an appropriate baffle (not shown) detachable in a drawing having an engaging convex portion 15 corresponding to the engaging concave portion 14,
The flow path inside the sound absorbing cylinder 2 can be selectively used as a flow path having one rectangular cross section and a flow path having two square cross sections. When the sound wave of a specific frequency is to be silenced,
It is effective to use a sound absorbing cylinder 2 having two square cross sections. The sound absorbing panel 16 is provided with a suitable sound absorbing material 7.
A housing having a desired through hole filled with may be used.

As described above, according to the silencer of the present invention, a lightweight silencer having low resistance to fluid can be obtained while maintaining the conventional silencer performance.
In addition, disconnection of the fluid passage outside the outer cylinder of the sound absorbing cylinder
The cross section of the fluid passage inside the inner cylinder of the sound absorbing cylinder
Since it was almost equal to the shape, it passed through any fluid passage
Sound waves are also silenced with equal silencing volume,
An extremely excellent effect is achieved in that sound can be effectively silenced .
