Means for Solving the Problems To achieve the above object, a method for manufacturing a spiral wire according to the present invention is to convert a round wire pipe material as a primary product comprising a hollow metal round wire pipe into a square hole of a polygonal die. After the first step of forming a hollow polygonal wire by adding a stretch at the same time as forcibly passing the wire, the hollow polygonal wire is supplied to a rolling die and twisted while being stretched simultaneously with the reduction in diameter. The second step is performed, and the torsion wire is further supplied to the second and third rolled round dies to perform secondary or tertiary stretching. Forming shallow spiral grooves continuous over the entire length in the longitudinal direction on the circular outer peripheral surface so as to correspond to the internal and external phases.

[0007] Furthermore, a round wire pipe material as a primary product consisting of a hollow metal round wire pipe is formed into a hollow polygonal wire, and the hollow polygonal wire is further extended and twisted, so that the hollow interior exhibits a polygonal spiral ridge. It is preferable to form a shallow spiral groove continuous in the entire length in the longitudinal direction on the circular outer peripheral surface so as to correspond to the inner and outer phases to form a product.

As shown in FIG. 5, in the first step, the pipe wire W composed of a hollow metal round wire pipe has a circular cross section of concentric inner and outer circles, and the cross sectional area is uniform. Is forcibly pressed into the polygonal die 10 and pulled out from the inlet 10a side to the outlet 10b side. The hollow polygonal wire 1 is formed by passing through the mold hole of the polygonal die 10. When the pipe wire W becomes the polygonal line 1, the cross-sectional area becomes small because the pipe wire W is drawn and stretched at the same time. By drawing and stretching in the polygonal molding, the composition density of the wire is increased and the strength is increased.
The hollow portion becomes a polygonal hole 3 corresponding to the polygon formed on the outer peripheral portion as the polygon is formed.

In the second step, when the hollow polygonal wire 1 obtained in the first step is supplied to the rolling die 11 and twisted by rotation while being stretched at the same time as the reduction in diameter, a rectangular shape as shown in FIG. 6 is obtained. Since the outer peripheral surface and the inner peripheral surface are simultaneously twisted, the outer surface is a spiral groove 2 and the inner surface is a torsion wire 1 'of a hollow pipe having a spiral ridge 3'.

Further, when the torsion wire 1 'obtained in the second step is supplied to the rolled circular die 12 in the third step shown in FIG. 7 to perform secondary or tertiary stretching, the surface of the wire becomes The spiral groove 2 in the second step is further flattened and flattened. Since the drawing and drawing are performed in the second and third steps, the composition density of the wire is further increased.
Although the polygonal hole 3 is slightly flattened by the above-described rolling of the outer peripheral surface, the shape of the spiral ridge 3 ′ is maintained as it is.

FIG. 1 shows a spiral wire S formed through the first to third steps. The spiral wire S is again formed into a round rolling die after the second step or the third step. When the sheet is supplied in the opposite direction and is further stretched while rotating, the one obtained by forming the spiral groove 2 ′ in the opposite direction on the spiral groove 2 as shown in FIG. 3 is obtained.

As described above, according to the present invention, a hollow metal wire such as a square or hexagon is formed by passing a hollow metal round pipe pipe material through a polygonal die and stretching it. Furthermore, forming a shallow spiral groove with a polygonal surface changed on the peripheral surface of the wire by stretching it to form a torsion wire,
Further, this is stretched by the second and third rolling dies, and the surface is drawn smoothly, so that the groove width is shallow over the entire length,
A spiral wire having a spiral groove of a size can be provided simply and reliably, and since a so-called loose spring effect is exhibited by torsion, the elastic strength is increased, and the strength against pulling and bending is also significantly increased, In addition, since the formation of the spiral groove increases the frictional force as compared with a normal round wire, it is expected to be applied to products in which slippage is a problem. The helical wire is formed from a round hollow pipe, but the inside of the hollow remains polygonal, and therefore has the feature of high strength against pulling, bending and twisting while having a small mass and light weight. In addition, it has a practically excellent effect in that the molding process is simple and the product is inexpensive.
